We have recently bought a home in Vera and this is our third time visiting Maraú beach club , the first time service was great and the staff were friendly, the second time not so great and then today we we’re greeted with rude staff but still decided to order drinks because we previously loved the venue and atmosphere, we were told to sit on the sofas ( that had no cushions), I asked 2 members of staff for cushions and they proceeded to ignore us and tend to the people who arrived after us but as they were paying to use the pool and sun beds they were treated as a priority, the response I received of the second staff when asking for the cushions was a very rude and abrupt “wait”, this was an awful experience especially as our in laws are with us and it’s the last day before they go home. Extremely disappointing

We originally booked the family pool as we had two 16yr olds with us. It was very underwhelming. I asked if we could upgrade to the adult pool, knowing it was 18+. The staff were very understanding as my daughter and her boyfriend look older than 16 and agreed to the upgrade. They offered one bed and one sofa which were perfect. All of the staff were fantastic and very polite. Thank you fat an amazing day.

Beautiful place by the beach. Nice interior and very classy. The service was good and so was the food.

We went there on saturday. We waited a half hour and no waiter came. We asked someone of the local staff if he served but he said he was no waiter. Instead of searching one he ignored us. After a half an hour a waiter goes to another table for people that just entered. I called him and thanked him for the service and left. I don´t know what is wrong with this people.

Wow stunning place, relaxing just to sit and have a few cocktails price around 7 euro each, reasonable priced considering the glam of the place and free entry to the nightclub also. Has a beautiful restuarant and pool area. Loved my recent visit here, would recommend.

So, there are two sides to the beach club- the restaurant and the club itself. Although they are run through one web site they are run as two separate entities inside. We went for Sunday lunch. We went early as we knew our toddler would be asleep (1.15pm) and there was no-one else there. By 3ish there was a pretty big crowd. The surroundings are lush and opulent and I didn't feel out of place in a dress and heels but there were lots of people wearing shorts. The food was amazing. We had foie and duck ham with fig jam, beef carpaccio with cheese ice cream and goats cheese salad with berries to start. I am salivating writing this review. It was very good. The service was excellent. We had monkfish and shrimp rice to follow- it was also very good and then we were full up! Each dish on the menu had allergy advice which is handy for us with a lactose free infant. We'd booked sun loungers next to the family pool (5 euros each) and were the only people there. There are full on beds next to the main pool for 100 euros which I guess would be worthwhile if you were on honeymoon without a toddler and were staying for a while. We had drinks by the pool and they had a kids' menu. There was also a climbing frame/slide and some swings. I'm not sure how much club action there is in Vera Playa and I'd say this is definitely the closest I've seen to it. There were quite a lot of beautiful (younger) people as opposed to perma-tanned retirees which is what we're used to seeing the when we go off season. We'll definitely be going back.

Amazing place, great atmosphere & decor. Stayed for food & drinks on a Sat afternoon, Resonably priced, good cocktail menu, great service, highly recommend a visit. Very popular place with really good music!

Disappointed that our Grandchildren were unable to use the main pool this summer. Separate area for them looked neglected. Ordered food, no French fries although on the menu. Were told they are only available in the dining room. We got fried crisps. Having commented about this to the staff, the level of service changed. We were not "trendy" enough for them.

A lovely spot beautiful surroundings drinks a bit pricy but the bling makes up for everything worth a visit

Bar and Pool staff extremely arrogant, unfriendly and unskilled with zero motivation to work and to serve the paying customer. Sad that the attitude of the staff leaves us with such a bad impression.

Lovely well cooked and presented food. Our waitress Ellie May was so helpful and nice.

This is such a lovely location. Service & food are fabulous. In the winter it needs a few more people early evening for the ambience. I don't understand why it is not busier. Its not cheap, but it is good quality/value.

Really nice and very clean place to visit. We visited at about dinner time for a few cocktails and it wasnt too busy. Nice bar with a very nice view. Toilets also very clean.

Haven't eaten here yet but spent afternoon with Grandchildren at the children's pool with the 5 of us being the only ones there. 9 Euros per Sunbed was reasonable value. Wines, food and snacks quite expensive. Taking everything in to account fairly good value for money. The property is situated next to the beach and is in a well designed and good looking seating area with adult and seperate large children's pool.

Nice to Go for a special celebration, but very over priced for the time of year, especially the sun loungers, furniture looking a bit rusty and one of the beach bars, falling to pieces, perhaps lower winter price's, would soften the effect, that outside furniture needs updating,inside restaurant though,is very well laid out, perfect for wedding receptions, birthdays

Looking for a cool, chill out night club where you can begin with a classy meal?! now this is your place!! Get there early (before 10pm) to guarantee best seats in nightclub area. Also has an amazing pool and sun beds if you’re wanting to spend the whole day there!

Omg had so much fun their last night. Went on my own as in Spain looking for property so I’m not on a typical “mates holiday” yet I had an absolute ball. stunning pool/outside area. And when I went inside to dance, the club atmosphere was amazing. The staff were sound. There was one incident where they didn’t bring my drink that I ordered for a while but they more than made up for it and the staff were all lovely. Despite being on my own people were dancing with me, the staff were friendly and I had an amazing time. Thanks so much - really looking forward to coming again and after showing friends videos, they can’t wait to visit too.

Great place to have a lounge in the sun. Sun loungers are available and the bar is just behind. Great food too, with service to match. Would definitely visit again.

100% the best beach club in Almeria! Beautifully decorated, great atmosphere, kind staff, good music, delicious drinks. A must-visit when exploring the Almeria coast.

I couldn’t rate this place lower. I went for my 18th birthday, the only 18th birthday I will ever have, and it was completely ruined by this night club. I went with 5 of my best friends, we queued up PAID and entered. After 10 mins we went outside for air (still within the premise of the club) and my one of my friends who’s gay (and was wearing some makeup and a tank top) was grabbed and escorted outside. 2 of my friends who were next to him were also grabbed and taken outside resulting in my female friend getting a bruise. Myself and the last 2 friends asked a nearby security what happened, and he said it was because my friend was wearing sandals (??) We went outside, wondering what was going on. We were met with uncooperative bouncers, who quickly escalated into yelling, and my gay friend was then spat on. This disgusting behaviour ruined my night and left us all in tears. I emailed the nightclub to get my money back (€120 is insane to be kicked out) and they said my friend hopped the wall. which is false. I asked them to show me evidence of why they believe this and was ignored. My mother, friends parents, and friends all emailed to complain as we didn’t want anyone else going through this and we were all ignored. Disgusting way to treat anyone, and this is now what I remember when I think of my 18th birthday.

Nice new year's eve dinner. Lovely music and food. Great service and superb atmosphere. Good sync to take uvas on time.. well maybe dessert was a bit late...
