(Translated by Google) Splendid and touristy place. From where you can admire views of Malaga city and its imposing port. In this place is the gibralfaro castle where you can visit. There is also the Parador de Gibralfaro where you can stay and eat at its restaurant. (Original) Lugar esplendido y turístico. What a trek! Walked up but you can take a bus or taxi as well. There are two walks you can take to get here. The first is a main walk along facing the ocean. This path could be slippery, very steep I strongly recommend only trying this in sneakers or very comfortable walking shoes, I saw people struggling in flip flops and sandals. Be cautious. The second path is accessible from the street behind the Roman ruins. It is a windy path up a paved road, steep too, but more walk friendly. This is the path we took up. Once you get to the playground you can cut through the mountain via a trail on the mountain side.

A great spot to take a rest on the climb up to Castillo de Gibralfaro. There is a viewing platform that affords panoramic views along the coastline and over the city of Malaga. There are also a few spots to sit and catch your breath if you're suffering on the climb.

Well one of the best view points if you want to see the Coastline of Malaga.. the walk is a lot but totally worth it. Once you reach on the hilltop the view will mesmerize you, Lovely place to take pictures . If you are in Malaga make sure to check this place out.

December 2022: stunning, beautiful, worth the climb. Scenery, red squirrels and a view to die for. Several ways up. Souvenir sellers at various corners, but they are over prices. Stop often and take lots of photos! Gives a totally different perspective to Malaga below!

This is a good spot to get an elevated view of the city. It can get extremely crowded especially when large droves of people are dropped off by tour busses.

Great viewpoint over Malaga. Difficult entry if it's 38C, but it's still worth a sweat hihihi. I recommend this place.

Nice views. It’s a nice place but it is usually busy and the path to get there is quite uncomfortable.

Absolutely worth the effort walking up the hill. Sunset worked great for a shot of the city. Sunrise worked better for taking portraits with the city in the background.

Nice pathway along the castle walls. Views out to the sea. Many pullouts with benches. A bus goes to the top (entrance to the castle) for those who'd rather only walk downhill...

A place not to miss if you are in Malaga. Climbed up the hill on foot and at the top, there was the bus!! But I felt much better. Although climbing up on foot needs patience, it much more enjoyable as you get to see all the viewpoints and walk through the amazing gardens and landscape. Alternatively you can always get the bus to take you there

Stunning view point, you can see the whole city including habor and old town with cathedral from here. The way up is not so „easy“, so better calculate extra time for some breaks. And bring a bottle if drink with you especially in summer!

A good afternoon hike to this place and you can see a scenic view of the whole city if Malaga. Do bring some water along and enjoy the walk. The view from the Fort is great.

(Translated by Google) The ascent up the steep slopes more than compensates for enjoying one of the best views of Malaga. From the viewpoint you can continue ascending to the Castle or take one of the different trails to the Alcazaba, the Coracha or the Malagueta. (Original) El ascenso por las empinadas cuestas compensa con creces para poder disfrutar de una de las mejores vistas de Málaga. The views took my breath away. I’d suggest either taking the bus or driving up to the top of the hill because it’s a steep and long climb from inside the city. I stayed at the hotel here for a night so it was a piece of cake for me to explore.

Must visit spot in Malaga. Can reach by bus, foot or car (although the route showing on Google maps is under construction so that can be very confusing if you have your own car). Bus is easiest to get here. We went in a bus and walked back through the castle route which is also a good walk. Near the castle there are washrooms and also a small shop for refreshments.

An impressive viewpoint over Malaga and the sea. Absolutely worth climbing! If you're lazy you can get here by a 🚗 or a 🚌, but it doesn't give that much satisfaction I suppose 😉

If you have gotten this far you will get way better views by entering the fortress (3,5 euro) definitely worth it.

Fantastic family place for pictures. Also one side of the castle is free Sundays 2pm and after! You just have to have the will and determination if your planning on walking... However you can drive to the top(which we found out after the walk) 😂 Otherwise great place to visit!

As a 4 year resident in Málaga this mirador is a special place for me. Some of the best views of the city and the sea. There are a few days to get there but most people will come from the castle/city center side. Be aware the path is steep and made of stones which can be slippery. Besides that it is a lovely walk. Often people are playing music, making or selling art, or just hanging with friends.

You won't be disappointed. Great views both in day time and night time. After reaching this point, do walk along the castle,.there is another view point hardly 500 meters with great views of city.

Great spot in Malaga! This is a must visit to see a Malaga panorama view. You can walk up all the way from the bottom or you can park at the top and walk down a bit till the view point. We visited middle afternoon but for sure it is a great place for a romantic sunset.

If you would like to see a fantastic view of Málaga you must visit the Gibralfaro viewpoints located in the Gibralfaro mountain between the Alcazaba Palace and the Gibralfaro Castle. There you can breathe fresh air, take amazing pictures and enjoy a wonderful landscape and fabulous panoramic views. We had a fantastic time but to get there wear very comfortable shoes and take easy stopping few times as there are many areas of the trail where the climb is very steep specially if you visit the 2nd viewpoint. Believe me, it is really worth it and totally free.

(Translated by Google) Good outlying views of the city. Even so, to walk up it is very demanding from the square of the Roman amphitheater. If you debate between the Gibralfaro castle and the Alcazabilla, better this second. Many more things to see and of greater interest (Original) Buenas vistas periféricas de la ciudad.
