Super nice little beach and the evenings are just charming here. Small stands at the playa with clothing and little shows. The restaurants around here are all good, the decision ist hard.

Muey bien, beautiful beach and set up for disabled beach goers. Fun boats to hire from Happy Kayak, lovely bars and restaurants very close by. A treat to visit

Fabulous beach with sheltered harbour. Clear waters. Safe entry to the sea, particularly on the left side, good for young children. No dogs allowed on the beach. Clean toilets and very disabled friendly. Wooden track down to beach area and also a shelter from the sun. Loads of cafe and restaurants along the Playa. There is a very nice small town area with independent shops selling a variety of products which are not tourist rubbish!

Beach is ok ,but with average restaurants serving below average food in small portions. Menus have a limited selection of dishes and very expensive prices. All in all a total no no for food.

The beach looked lovely even in winter, I cycled down to San Jose from cabo de gata, decided to stop for a bite to eat, el faro puerto 9euros for a piece of shredded lettuce 4 slices of tomato grated carrot and slice of onion and tsp of tuna! To many cats being fed in restaurant too. Will not be returning unfortunately

Very nice beach in the small town of San Jose! Clean, well-kept!! Blue clear water!! It's a sandy beach but you need to pass a few meters of pebbles to get into the water. Very recommended for families with children. There are restaurants nearby and cold water showers.

Beautiful, if windy, coved beach in the Cabo de Gato National Park. Lots of places to eat- quite touristy. Some nice, if overpriced, shops. We went mid April and the toilets and changing rooms on the beach weren't open yet which was a disappointment, but guess it wasn't the season yet. The sea is really clear and you have to walk out quite far to get any depth so good for kids. Definitely worth a visit.

Very nice for the town beach. We were snorkeling and saw few types of fish. There are showers, toilets and few restaurants in the nearby streets. The weather was perfect in mid-September (about 28 degrees and sunny). The sand is not white but rather dark. For the beautiful and more secluded places you will have to drive outside the town.

Nice place for a quick dive in warm waters of the Bay. Problems with the toilets on the beach - we were told the would be opened after 4pm 😁

We Anchored here for one night - couple hundred yards off the Beach it was beautiful.... First Sandy beach we've seen down the coast line. It is well lined off with markers for swimmers protection from Dinghy's, jetskis and kayaks. There are outdoor showers to rinse sand off. For boaters their is a well defined chanel parked in Green a d Red Markers for you to come ashore Fir babies and children welcome and safe. It's in a horse's shoe around the bay. Nice restaurants, bars and even a small Market are with in a few hundred yards of the beach.

Perfect beach to just lie down with a cold beer. There are showers and places to grab a quick bite or ice cream.

Arguably the best town beach I've been to! If you go around the edge of the beach to the right (if you're looking at the ocean) you can find secluded spots and have your own little cove, perfect for you and your partner.

A small beach that the locals enjoy relaxing in the sun. Plenty of shops are nearby for refreshments. There are showers and toilets. An hour or two can easily go by and it has a good vibe. There is not much to do in terms of other activities.
