How can anyone not give this place and its staff less than a stellar review? I’ve dined here several times and have always been so impressed with the amazing cuisine and service. Tonight we came in t shirts and sandals and sat at the bar. It ended up being one of the most magical and unexpectedly perfect nights that you could hope for. Please support this business and their amazing chefs and staff. You get what you give in any scenario … and kindness wins and is always rewarded at Racó del Pla. Special thanks to Salvatore!

Good food, nothing special, but we were charged different prices than the ones in the menu: 3 euros for a croquetta jamon, while in the menu it was 2.5 euros and 23 euros for the seafood paella instead of 21.5 euros.

The place is really good. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the "Arroz con bogavante". It is insanely good, the staff teached us a bit how to break the 🦞 shell as We were total newbies on this.

It was a wonderful experience. Servers were kind and respectful and we’re waiting h on us just as necessary. Food is I’ve if the best places in Alicante for rice dishes but the food in general was outstanding.

Awesome paella, they made one for me alone eventhough they usually only make them for min. 2 people. Muchas gracías por la hospitalidad!

Overrated in my view and not enough selection of paellas. We had the arroz con ternera y garbanzos. Apparently it has been made for 40 years but too much fat in my view. Rice and chickpeas are well made and tasty although there is no actual meat and just fat on top the rice.

I had a menu casero plato that was tasty. Salad was simple, mussels were large and tasty, four slices of salami and a slice of mancego plate was nice with a glass of riojan vino tinto. The main Olleta Alicantina was hearty and perfect for a chilly, windy and rainy day. Postte lemon sorbet was served with a straw that worked perfectly. The sorbet was perfect. The service was very friendly like it's everywhere in Alicante. The price for the lunch was on the higher side but worth it.

We had a delicious dinner in this restaurant. The environment is slightly formal, with the waiter wearing black tie on white suite. As soon as you enter you have a nice fish display with oysters, shrimps and other fresh fish. Quality price was good and in line with an up-scale restaurant (I had better shrimps though). We would have expected an extra touch like a small digestive at the end of our dinner.

Lovely, went for lunch here and shared a pork paella and had some delightful ox tail croquettes to start! They were so tasty certainly recommended trying them.

We ordered rice with monkfish, clams, shrimp and artichokes. It was very good. We also ordered some starters, fried fish and ali-oli potatoes and they were also fantastic . The portions are a bit small but you can taste that the product is very great . The value for money is good. The staff is very professional. Highly recommended place 🔝
