What a fab experience! The staff were so great, made everyone feel included and were very informative. We had a tour around the sanctuary before being introduced to our donkey's. We walked up along the hills to a small field where the donkey's grazed. The staff provided us with cold bottles of water and offered to take photos of us with our donkey on our phones before making the walk back to the sanctuary. We were then offered drinks and there was a small shop. Felt welcomed to stay as long as we wanted and there were also cute dogs that followed us on our walk. Would definitely recommend as the whole experience was the best! The staff also called a taxi for us when we were ready to leave. Please visit! 🩷🫏

A beautiful and incredible sanctuary for the amazing donkeys that have given us so much over the years and are now in the best place possible. The owner and founder, Maya gave me a personal tour and her passion is infectious. I will certainly be returning again soon to give these humble creatures another big hug.

Lovely donkeys and fantastic volunteers who went above and beyond to show us around the sanctuary. The donkeys are happy here and the work the team is doing is really impressive! We joined the donkey walk and walked the lovely Lucia, a morning well spent and one of the highlights of our holiday in Malaga.

Absolutely recommend, 10/10! The volunteers were extremely informative and interesting and gave us loads of opportunities to meet the donkeys (and horse and chicken!) A lovely end to it was the terrace with drinks and a view! Thank you so much for such a brilliant day!

They are doing a great job rescuing donkeys in need. Getting them trust people again and find new loving and caring homes for them. Just lovely to see the donkeys and the volunteers together ❣

Wauw! I would recommend this to absolutely everyone! If you're a family, alone on holiday or with a friend group, definitely go here! It's such a fun place to visit. The staff is wonderful! They tell you so many interesting things about the animals and they are so helpful and nice. The animals are really loved here and you really feel that. The donkey walk is fun and exciting. We each got our own donkey and you could see that they were so excited to go for a walk. Afterwards we got some tapas snacks and a drink. Wonderful experience! Thank you so much for this highlight of our holiday!

A wonderful experience and we highly recommend it. Learning about the fantastic work that the team do with great care to safety. We walked with the donkeys, on a gentle stroll in beautiful countryside with fantastic views. Very relaxing with a huge dose of feel good factor. We are sponsoring a donkey on a monthly basis now x

Amazing place, and an amazing experience, my girls aged 6 and 8 loved it and my reluctant husband said it was one of the best things he has done! This sanctuary does great work and is all run by volunteers and relies on donations.

We visited for the full moon walk and had such a lovely time. The walk was well organised by all the volunteers. We got given a donkey called Lucia who was stunning! Was like walking a huge dog who wanted to stop and eat everything on the way up! After a very sweaty walk up the hill, we got to the top and were sat on blankets that had already been prepared! Whilst watching the sunset, we were handed drinks and a plate of tapas which had plenty of food on! The donkeys were grazing and it was simply a magnificent view! On the other side of the hill we watched the moon rise over the sea! Simply stunning! Would highly recommend!

A little gem of a place. The donkeys have a wonderful haven here and it is lovely to be able to spend some time with these beautiful animals. There is something very tranquil about spending an hour or so here. Chicken soup for the soul. If you visit, you will want good shoes on as the ground is rough and in places steep to walk around. The staff that work there are friendly and knowledgeable and clearly love looking after the donkeys. Great for adults and children.

Lovely place! The donkeys are well looked after, and it shows that they're happy and at peace in their sanctuary. They were calm, friendly and came to us for pats and scratches. Donkeys are so sweet and sensitive! ❀️ Our guide was professional, easy going and friendly, answered any questions we had. There's also a cute dog and bunnies. This really is a great place to visit, and you'll leave with a good feeling in your heart. We'll be back again next time we're in Spain!

We had a fantastic Sunday afternoon at Donkey Dreamland. The volunteers who work there are so lovely & caring for the donkeys in their care. The walk with them was well organised & monitored throughout. We then had an Andalucian 'brunch' which was an assortment of fruits, breads, cheese & meats, it was simply gorgeous. After this, a couple of our group got involved with mucking out a couple of the stables, it's the least we could do. Great value for money day out, will definitely return when we're next in Spain.

A beautiful sanctuary for such lovely animals, the Donkey's were pleased to see us and were keen for attention until their breakfast arrived! It was great to see them so obviously happy and content. We were met by Lucia and her young daughter, who is a volunteer, we learnt much more about Donkey's and also the mind set of the sanctuary. We spent about an hour with Lucia and then taken into the building for a drink and some shade. They do not charge for drinks, they should, we had a choice of water, cola and beer. We left a donation for our drinks. They can't charge but they can suggest a donation. I could have stayed all day but it was so hot.

Amazing work by the team. Warm welcome and explanations. This place is open to visit even if gmaps says otherwise (check their website). Learn about donkeys and support them as much as you can.

How can you not enjoy seeing these Lovely animals so well cared for by many Volunteers. They rescue and the treat and help these Donkeys live their best life . Worth a visit or a Donkey Walk on a full moon night, which we did to view the super moon in August. Just Magic.

I recently visited Donkey Dreamland for their full moon walk and I can honestly say it was a magical evening. As soon as you arrive at the sanctuary you can feel the love for these wonderful animals. The energy is relaxed and welcoming. The welcome drinks and canapΓ©s were a really nice touch. The tour is very well organized and professional and I immediately bonded with my donkey Carmela. The route we did was beautiful and the views from the viewpoint were incredible. We watched the full moon rise over the sea with a delicious picnic of homemade food, drinks and music. The atmosphere was magical, I can't recommend it highly enough, it's an experience you don't want to miss.

This is a wonderful, peaceful place. The owners and volunteers are lovely people who obviously genuinely love the donkeys and are very knowledgeable. We spent a couple of hours grooming and walking the donkeys around the local paths and woods. The animals are sweet, affectionate, and very well cared for. Breakfast was generous and delicious. It's a perfect setting, and I'd highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and the company of animals. Thank you to you all. We hope to be back!

Did the moon walk. Very pleasant evening experience. Unfortunately the moon didn't play ball but it did not spoil the occasion. Thoroughly recommend. The walk is a bit steep in places but the volunteers did everything they could to accommodate all 70+ people. Lots of donkeys and very hands on.

This donkey sanctuary is lovely and well worth a visit. There's nothing flashy or touristy about the place. They just do important work. The volunteers are very helpful and friendly. We'll be back for a donkey walk next time we're here.

I would definitely recommend this place, we had an amazing day and it’s great for kids. The volunteers were so informative about everything and answered every question we had. We got to see all the donkeys and give them all a treat. Its also really nice to see how well looked after the donkeys are, and how happy they are.

My girlfriend and I went on the full moon walk and had a really lovely time. The staff were very friendly and passionate and the donkeys were very cute and sweet. The walk wasn't too difficult and is suitable for children but you should expect it to be steep and uneven at times. If you're looking to see some animals but don't want to support a zoo or aquarium then we would really recommend visiting here instead.
