Went in for lunch while exploring the area, service was amazing!!!! Such a wonderful atmosphere, very classy, the food was cooked perfectly and was very delightful!!! If I ever make it back i will be stopping in again!!!

A truly brilliant restaurant. This place has everything. It’s very well ran, welcoming, great service, looks good, has excellent traditional and unusual options on the menu, fantastic food, natural wines, jamon and a selection of local IPA’s. We booked for two adults and our daughter in a buggy, and they couldn’t have been more welcoming / accommodating to both us and our daughter. We shared two starters, one of jamon and one of tomato, then shared the t bone steak - all were amazing. We were sadly too full for a dessert but we did enjoy further drinks (local IPA’s and an espresso) after our natural wine and every single item ordered was 10/10. The food was amazing, as were the drinks - we thoroughly enjoyed our night. Our only complaint is that it’s not based in Liverpool and so we can’t visit more often :-).

Wonderful restaurant in a neighbourhood you would not expect. The pictures of the establishment do not do this place justice. The interior is modern and classy. Staff was extremely friendly. Food was delicious. Price-quality is through the roof. At the end of the dinner, the chef visited the table personally to enquire if everything was as expected. This was a highly appreciated gesture. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area!

Such a nice place. We've had perfectly cooked picanha and squid. The service was fast and very friendly. Even the chef came out of the kitchen and asked how everything was. The dessert was the perfect ending for this evening. Thank you!! PS: Try the Sangria with Maracuja.

We visit Atipico yesterday for dinner at 8:00 pm. The ambiance is nice and the place is well appointed, the food was good (not excellent) but...it took as all of one hour and a half to get out food! Never in my 56 years had I waited that long for dinner, anywhere! No apologies, no comments, I just regret we didn't leave after the one hour mark! So, if you are infinitely more patient than myself, that might be a good place for you, if not, don't bother!

INCREDIBLE, if you are looking for a place with character, amazing food, great service and good wine, this is definitively the place. The owners are extremely friendly and the food delicious. We had the shrimps and the octopus, very tasteful. Would highly recommend.

Food is amazing in this place. We particularly enjoyed the tomato appetizer with the basil sorbet - the flavour was amazing and this was what we considered to be the best tomato we have ever tried! We also loved the octopus dish which was different from any other octopus we had tried before being delicious and easy to digest at the same time. The staff was kind & professional and recommended a natural wine to us without sulfites - Saroto 2022 - which is a blend of over 30 different grapes and tasted different from any other type of wine. Amazing experience!

Lovely cocktails, both risottos were delicious and the vegetarian options were more interesting than the usual "spaghetti and garlic". Staff were very friendly and the chef even came down to the table to see how we liked the food. Quality of food definitely well above all other restaurants in the area. We went quite late and the restaurant was very quiet but still managed to have a welcoming pleasant atmosphere.

This is the best restaurant in Albufeira. The food is delicious and adventurous, the service is exceptional. My wife was originally drawn by the stylish decor...and she's a designer! Although only minutes walk from our place, we'd travel far to dine here. The staff, from the owner's Bruno and Emilie, to chef Jorge in the kitchen along with everyone involved, create a welcoming environment. Check out to photo captions of the food!

Visited here last night, and had such a wonderful experience! Food was outstanding! Their seafood pasta was out of this world and their selection of natural, local drink was an added bonus. The atmosphere is lovely, and although slightly more expensive than some restaurants in Albufeira, it was hands down worth every penny and one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time! The Chef visits you as you’re having your meal to check how everything is and lets not forget this fantastic waffle dessert too!

Lovely food and drinks. The service was good too. The portion was small so you would need to order more dishes than you usually have.

Went here with my parents on the last day of our vacation. We ate for 85€ in total, so it's definitely not easy on the wallet but it's more than worth it. I ordered the squid with the rice. The squid was very soft and tasty. My parents had the Cataplana and the seafood linguini. There was an abundance of fish, mussles and even crabs, all tasted very fresh. You could tell that they used quality ingredients for every dish. The waitress was very kind and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Everyone who worked there was really sweet. I got the octopus with chorizo and it was delicious. I’d order it again. It had crispy textures and lots of flavor. I tried the risotto too. Also delicious.

This was definitely the food highlight of our trip! We would go back to Albufeira to go to this restaurant again! The food was exceptional, staff were very friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere. They also had kids options on the menu. The chef came out to chat to us which was lovely. Their love of food translates onto the plate! We also loved their own brand rosé wine Atipico. We would highly recommend this restaurant to others and look forward to returning again.

Saw this stunning restaurant in the corner of my eye as I was passing and made note. Went back to look at the menu and was WOWED by how small it was!! Unlike every restaurant which has hundreds of items Atípico did amazing food and kept it simple. In short. Amazing food, stunning wine, excellent service and the cherry was the chef asking us if we enjoyed it. 6* is possible.

Found this place on trip advisor, 10 minutes from our hotel and headed there as the reviews were good. We were not disappointed. The ambiance was totally different to anything we have seen so far in Albufeira and the food.…. Spectacular. Starter, a mix of meats and cheese. Fantastic. Mains, baked Cod and Pepper Steak. Amazing. Deserts, bolo Chocolate and Rum baba. Mind blowing. A very special, and very A-typical diner for a special occasion, or just to enjoy the very best in Portuguese interpretation. Don't miss this place.

A beautiful restaurant with a very kind staff. Fresh products in particular fishes, sweet potatoe fries are delicious and the desserts are a continuation of these good flavors. Best restaurant we went to during our holiday to Albufeira. The atmosphere and restaurant itself is lovely and the staff were very attentive. The portions were huge and yummy. Highly recommend.

These sangrias are amazing but very dangerous. 10/10 would recommend (also the Chef’s Shrimp because they do them with orange juice 🤤)

Made reservations here for our last night in Albufeira and it did not disappoint!! We chose a table outside as the ambiance was very nice. For starters, we had the dark pork and cheese plates — amazing, especially the pumpkin jam! We read the reviews about the octopus, so of course had to try — it was absolutely delicious!! It had a nice crisp on the outside and the bits of chorizo were sooo good!! We also got the duck risotto — yet another amazing dish. The staff was extremely nice and the service was top notch!! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice evening, outside the touristy area. I would definitely return and try other dishes if I go back to Albufeira. Thank you for an amazing dinner and experience!!!!

Sensational. Definitely add this to your to do list. My wife had the vegetarian linguine which was a perfect vegetarian dish made with love. The t bone steak was cooked to perfection very flavourful. The best mojitos in Albufeira. Truly a tremendous dining experience.
