A good place for staying. Airy and has sufficient lighting. Stayed in 2nd floor. Good for a couple or for a small family. Toilet is just beside the room. Clean and private area. Please plan to take water for drinking and make arrangements for food. Has a geyser for hot water bathing. Has a free space with chairs for sitting and relaxing. We can also dry our clothes in the free space. Car can be parked in the roadside before you come in to this place(very near to main road).

Tried a solo trip for the first time. Felt so fortunate to have selected this place for my stay. People here are so loving and caring. Lady who hosts the guests, treats you like her son. Felt like visiting one's home. Would definitely recommend if you want an escape from the usual jam-packed town hotels. Scooter was also arranged on request.

It's a home stay which is affordable for normal people who is not too rich or too poor. The owner is a lady and she is friendly. A room contains 2 single beds, attached bathroom along with a shelf. The charges include food's price. Also free WiFi is available.

Around this area there is a beautiful wooden palace and couple of temple which has stunning architecture and sculptures. The landcapes around this area is best for walking and cycling. Also one can rent a scooter to see the stunning waterfalls and Asia's largest aqueduct. Host Ms.Sakunthala is a caring person. Best for backpackers and couples.

I would give 5 plus stars for the way they treat the guests and i was given proper home food (additional charge) which for worth for the money, they treat guests in a friendly manner and also Allowed me for early checkin additionally helped me with a two wheeler as i wanted to visit few places for office purpose. Surely this place will be my first choice when i visit next time.

Located in quiet and beautiful countryside and run by a lovely family. Mom cooks delicious local food and makes tasty chai. You can visit the nearby natural waterfall, Mathur Aqueduct and go hiking in the mountains with stunnung views. The Palace is easy walking distance along banana plantations and coconut trees. The Best place I have stayed in India ~ relaxing, clean, great view.....scooter & bicycle rental can be arranged.

It's a home stay. Room is very clean and within the budget, Owner is very friendly and supportive, feels like a home, I would like to stay again if I get a chance. Surrounding atmosphere is very quite. Highly recommended.

It's a safe and quite place where you can feel like home. The owner and stuff are very hospitable and ready to help at any time. It was a pleasure to stay here and meet so kind people.

I recently spent a few nights at Countryside Inn while visiting the Kanyakumari area. The guesthouse is in Thuckalay, about an hour by bus from the main attractions in Kanyakumari town, but Thuckalay itself also has some nice things to see. The owners are friendly and welcoming (though they do not speak English). The guesthouse is clean and comfortable, and offers delicious homecooked meals of south Indian cuisine – you will not go hungry during your stay! I definitely recommend to consider staying here if you are visiting Kanyakumari!
