The food exceeded my expectations. Shrimp tacos were very good. Caution: Shallow water level at docks.

The bar is awesome and warm hospitality, but the food was a little bit long to wait on. Probably from short staff, but the meat on my Beef Nachos was super dry like it was reheated but sat out forever. Beer was good, and food is decent prices.

Worst food ever!!! What happened to this place? Not going back

This place has the potential to be phenomenal. The perfect spot right on the lake. Dock the boat and grab dinner, a snack or a drink. Unfortunately, they currently seem to be understaffed and under-resourced. Service was slow and menu options were very limited. Hopefully they can turn around soon because this is a true local gem if managed well.

Besides the hour wait for food. It was a good environment for a random stop in Alpena to get some food. I wasn't sure if it was the food or something else that killed my stomach that night. Not a local but seems to be popular for the elder community.

Such a great location...but in 3 visits, we only were able to eat once. First time, new cooks couldn't keep up. Third time, kitchen problem caused a full halt in service. Go mid week with low expectations and maybe you will get food.

Thought we would give this place another try. Seated ourselves and sat there for 20 minutes with NO acknowledgement. Waitresses knew were there because of the irritated glares we were given. They looked under-staffed and overwhelmed, but at least say something to us. We’re local and will not be returning.

Ordered the chicken parmesan and it was served covered with tomato sauce and cheese. I could only find 3 pieces of chicken in it! The waitress went to the chef and came back saying that I could have another chicken breast. That breast came cut into chunks and was rubbery in taste. The pasta was in huge chunks and very unappetizing. I would only order a burger from this place!

The restaurant seemed a little dark with its black ceiling but the food and service made our visit worthwhile. We will definitely be going back.

We love coming here . We love that this is an option for the lake. The food quality has drastically declined since the pandemic, but we will continue to support this establishment, because we don't want to lose it.

My husband and I had a great experience here. We loved the spinach & artichoke dip, had cold drinks and an awesome bartender! Thanks! We plan to come back when we visit again.

Food was fine. Really can't complain much about it as they have cut back on their menu options, but the real downfall was the service. I understand people getting flustered as it gets busy, but when we sat down (3 of us) we were the only ones in the place besides maybe 4 people at the bar. The food came out at different times, which isn't a huge deal, and the bartender was also our waitress. She would come and ask if we needed anything, one person would say something, and she'd take off ignoring others. I was going to play some keno to pass the time, money and ticket on the table waiting for her, but as soon as someone else said something she'd just ignore me. I also wanted to ask for some extra tartar sauce for my fish, but again she never stuck around long enough for me to say anything so I ended up not saying anything to her at all again. Customer service is everything in this line of work. Customers that feel taken care of will come back, and tonight I did not feel like I was even welcome.

We stopped in for a late lunch while on a trip up north. When we walked in there was only one person at the bar. We decided to have a beer and order lunch. To our surprise the food was delicious. I had the club and my wife had the fish tacos. The only draw back was when we walked it it was right by the bathrooms and it smelled like they needed to be cleaned.

The chairs were very uncomfortable, but I'm pregnant with a bad hip so that might have contributed to that. We walked into the place at 2 and it took the waitress an hour to take our food orders. They weren't that busy. We didn't get our food until 5 oclock. The taste was lackluster, so I don't think we'll be back unless the service gets better. Very disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful place with exceptional food and service! You definitely want to give this place a try!

Delicious sandwiches and good variety of cold beverages

3 star Lake Bar. 3.5.Star Sports Bar. 4 Stars Restaurant. 5 stars for the combination. Try the steak tips with a garlic sauce. You'll be happy you did.

This is a great place to go if you like good food, attentive waitstaff, and a nice view. Pool tables and a jukebox, a nice patio right on the lake. I got the pulled pork french fries and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. Came back the next day and got a burger and it was huge, chock full of fresh toppings, personally I love the red onion on it. Never had a bad meal there. Keno if you want to gamble a few bucks while you're enjoying your food and drinks. All around a great bar.

Service is great and food is always wonderful. Pizza is assume. Best place to eat on long lake! They even have outside seating and plenty of dock spaces,

The fish was excellent cooked perfectly flaky, food was hot and looked good. The staff stays busy but takes their time seeing if you need anything ahile they are serving. Bartender is friendly and knows she drinks. Great place to shoot pool, have a drink or have dinner.
