    Sick of wasting money at this place. Every single time something is wrong with the order. I do not recommend coming to McDonald’s in alpena

    If you want hot food and decent customer service, visit one of the other two McDonald's in Alpena. The food was cold and the customer service was horrible. I ordered my food at the drive thru window and as soon as I drove away and I found my fries were cold so I went inside to exchange them for hot fries. The girl at the counter was rude and didn't want to give me new fries so I asked for a manager. I told the manager I wanted hot fries instead of cold fries and I thought her employee owed me an apology. The manager told me "she is not going to apologize to you and if I make her she will quit." She did give me some hot fries (1/2 the order) and tossed them in my bag. I called later that day to talk to the owner and had to leave a message. I am sure the message got thrown out because it's been 2 days and I haven't gotten a call back.

    Best McDonald's in town. Super nice service, never had a wrong order from them. Even during rushes at mid day they maintain the store and the pace extremely well. If they ripped that useless self service kiosk out of the lobby then it would be the perfect McDonald's. You don't need a robot when the people are as good at their jobs as this group tends to be.

    Garuntee that you will up and wait for your food and someone will be confused on what your order is. Please remain calm during this time. Remember these are kids working jobs not 5 star Michelin star cooks. Never had a bad experience here and the sandwiches normally are assembled in a eating fashion unlike most that throw lettuce all over the box and you can't eat untill you get home.

    Completely awful... Three visits in a row missing food and given the wrong food or food made incorrectly. Miscommunication and nobody taking the blame. Not once was I given money back or even a coupon for a meal. Even after getting about 20 miles away and having to go all the way back because they had forgotten an entire meal and messed up the other two! I had to give the messed up food back and just got my money back. This is such a common occurrence at this location. I don't recommend going here at all. If you have to, don't leave the parking lot without checking that you have everything and it's correct. All I was offered was an apology smh. Definitely annoying and frustrating and a huge waste of time, money, and gas. AVOID IF YOU CAN!

    Got a regular hamburger pickles and onions only small fry and a medium mocha frappe everything was hot and fresh and the mocha was great.

    I just HAD to have a Micky Ds fish filet. We received not only a hot fish sandwich as well as hot fresh fries. But, the server that brought our order out seemed like she hated her job. When I worked six years of McDonald's I worked hard but had fun with it too. One has to enjoy their job or should work elsewhere.

    Ordered breakfast in drive thru apparently big breakfast with hotcakes did not process just big breakfast , got my food no hotcakes ? Went in to fix was told I had to pay full price for hotcakes not just the difference of less than a dollar. This conversation took place with the manager on duty this morning . I told her I would be happy to pay the difference but she said no. The only way I was getting hot cakes was to pay full price. Customer service?

    They never get my order wrong here. Food is delivered quickly, and the staff are very friendly. I always get the caramel frappe and chicken nuggets. I did recently try the new mumbo sauce and the sweet and spicy sauce. The mumbo sauce is extremely spicy and burned my tongue. The sweet and spicy was very good though!

    This is one of the best McDonald's I've went to. The staff were very accommodating, because I wanted freshly baked cookies since if they are not baked right then and there, and they cool off completely, they are hard as a rock. And that's just how it is at McDonald's. That's how it is for their cookies. They are so good, but once they have completely cooled off they are hard. The crispy chicken sandwich was way better than I am used to. I was in town going to a doctor appointment so I am usually getting food from grayling. The feeling I got from the quality of the food, was that same feeling you get when you get out of a relationship, and you get into another one and you only then realize that the relationship you had before, was a bad one. Amazing how things can be so different and a franchise food place, when everything should be exactly the same from store to store. It probably is not an employee's fault for the grayling store. The temperature could be a little bit off from a miscalibrated sensor.

    Very rude employees, every single time I’ve gone to this specific McDonald’s. They make well over minimum wage and can’t even play nice? Food was cold, which included fries, chicken nuggets and 2 Big Macs. Better off going to the one by the hospital or at the south end of town.

    The food is always usually pretty good and the managers are respectful but this place hires some of the biggest idiots! After repeating my short simple order over 3x they still had it wrong but I was hungry and just took what they had on the screen. Finally got my order and there was a hair on the inside of my milkshake you could see on the side of the cup. The manager was embarrassed and was very kind and personally made a really good one and made another for the unusually bad visit. Though this has happened this place is usually really good and I would recommend it to McDonald's lovers.

    I’m sorry to be a b!tch but don’t charge me for extra hot fudge on a sundae and put a tiny dollop on the top. I don’t even want to know what a regular sundae looks like without the “extra” It goes in the top and the bottom. Literally it’s not that hard. 🙄 And yes it’s only .40 but it keeps happening over and over. Obviously whoever is teaching the cooks how to do things is teaching them wrong. Fix your management.

    I had to file a "Ethics violation" with the corporation against this McDonald's to get my last check. I contacted them numerous times within a month, to get my check and they wouldn't give to me a reason or even respond. I finally got a phone call after I filed a Ethics complaint and the manager lied, saying I didn't fill out my paperwork. That's a lie since, I did an hour later long orientation with a manager and started working the next day. If they would be this deceitful to a ex-employee, then they would do it to any employee or even worse to a customer. I definitely want the community to know the lengths these managers will go to not admit a mistake or apologize...

    I literally could of died had I been allergic to pickles. I always ask for no pickles. This time they put not one, not two (which is the normal I believe is 2 not sure tho) I had SIX. 🤮🤢 I couldn't even eat my burger after that. And each time I come here I spend more than 20 to 25 dollars.

    I cruise the drive through a few times/week for a Coke without ice. The very pleasant young man who accepted my payment this afternoon thanked me for being kind! I found out that he’s only 16 so has many, many years ahead of him in the workforce. Kudos to him and his parents for the polite, hard-working person he already is!

    This McDonald's was okay. The service is generally fast but somehow they always forget to either add a topping to a sandwich/burger, or they forget to take one off after being asked to do so. It's not the biggest deal to me, however I do not have any food allergies.

    $7.09 for what you see in the picture! No lettuce. No cheese. No sauce. But if I had ordered a "spicy" chicken sandwich I would have gotten the works. Won't be back!

    The girl at the pay window needs to go. She is slow. Struggles with counting out cash back. I stop there everyday on my way to work and I don't have time to wait for her to stand there and wish with another employer. Too many times I have had to go through the drive through to get the rest if my order. Not happy 😒

    The staff was super friendly and really nice. We ordered 20 cheeseburgers and it was later at night so we thought it'd be an issue but they had our order out so quick. We were maybe there a total of 10 minutes and didn't have any issues. Of course, we'll definitely we back!!
