Dew drop inn is a very clean motel to stay in. Even the outside is clean, as we sat outside our room, no spider webs , above in the rafters or lights. We will stay here again, soon. Reasonable price for our room. Wish we would of thought of it, to leave a tip for the cleaning person. Only con and a easy fix for the owners, is a microwave in the room. There's none and we needed one to heat up our pasties from the Up. We enjoyed our stay.

Well from start to end our stay was excellent, first off the lady and man was very friendly that rented the room to us , the rooms was exceptionally clean, the price was grea, it was very quiet. And the best part is they have baseboard hot water heat no dust as my husband has bad asthma and he slept great in a dust free room if you stay here you won't be sorry.great job dew drop inn.will be back next time in town.

Very clean, suitable rates and the owner is nice and runs a tight ship. I have stayed in most all of the other motels/hotels in the Alpena area and after staying at the Dew Drop Inn my preference in the future will be to stay at the Dew Drop Inn if at all possible. 5stars along with a kudos to Doug the owner!

We stayed at the Dew Drop Inn this weekend for a youth softball tournament. Our room was very clean and the beds were so very comfortable. We needed more towels and the owner brought them to our room almost immediately. Staying here brought back memories when our friends the Schulke s owned the motel. Thank you to the new owners for the wonderful hospitality. Would stay again. Cindy Dolson

I stay here often for work. Very clean

If you need a basic place to sleep and clean up, and DON'T mind a camera aimed at the bed, it's good/nice. Road noise is very noticeable while trying to sleep, there's a blinking light from behind the TV that's annoying in the dark and lastly, there's a servo sound every 30 minutes that's coming from the door area (I think). It sounds like keyless lock locking on a home door, but these are manual looks. Part of the baseboard heaters? I kept the camera, under the TV, covered, but I suggest taking electrical tape and using a couple inches of it to cover the lens. In the pictures, you can see the camera lens and the IR sensor (for the tv remote). The mount looks 3D printed, and the lens cutout looks like an afterthought. I've run the images past a few other IT professionals, and none can give me a logical reason for it.

We have stayed here 3 times in the last 3 years. Rates have gone up from $55 a night to $65 in that time. Rooms are clean, basic, very outdated, but do the job. In the past the price matched the accommodations. This year our room smelled very musty, staff seems indifferent at best. Tried to say hi to the owner 4 times while loading my car in the morning but he didn't seem to want to make eye contact. Numerous places in the area we have called offer same or cheaper prices for exact same style room. Upgrade the room to match the price or improve your customer service.

A nice little small town motel. It was clean and the owners are friendly. The wife makes great homemade pickles! We’ll definitely stay here at our next visit to Alpena.

Clean, quiet and great deal for the price :)

I stayed at the Alpena Michigan location. It's nothing fancy, but it was clean. It had cable TV (with a CRT TV), air conditioning (window shaker) and a refrigerator. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are just looking for an inexpensive place to stay.

Close to the job I was staying at. Close to food I wanted to try friendly staff. Room was kind of small and dated. But had that cozy rustic feel they tied the whole theme together with the interior of the rooms. It was nice. Hot water was quick when you turned it on. Very clean in the rooms. Had directtv with the remote so you could use the guide to find what you wanted. Not just aimlessly flipping channels like most places. Would recommend for short stays. Nice room nice staff. Just small room. But it was just me. So it was alright

The Dew Drop in was very clean and close to our destination and highly recommended. The room rate was very affordable and had everything we needed for a two night stay. We'd stay at the Dew Drop Inn again.

Stayed here with Dive club. Close to wrecks & dive sites. Gas station & restaurant near by. Will stay again next dive Trip.
