Literally EVERY thing we got to eat was incredibly delicious and they have the best ranch ever!! We got a side salad, fried mushrooms, cheese curds, lemon pepper wings and the crispy chicken bacon wrap. We were drooling it was so delicious.

Excellent service and friendly patrons. Was only in town for one night. Had an excellent burger and fries! Only thing missing was a larger selection of draught beers. Will be back next week...

Out on a work trip, I was recommended to try the Players Pub and man it did not disappoint. Great locally owned bar and grill with amazing food. I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap with the house made chips. So good!

If you watch the food channel, this would be the 3rd D of tripleD. Assume It's a great place. Always good food and service. Best fried mushrooms in the Midwest. All items on the menu are great.

This place is seriously a hidden gem in Alpena. Yes, it’s dive bar af, about as dive as it gets. BUT the food is some of the best in town! You would never guess based on the atmosphere, but they blow most every restaurant in town out of the water on food, even the upscale and expensive places. The service is also 5 star! 💫 Personally, I wish they would open up a regular restaurant rather than have the dive bar and restaurant as one. Just saying 😁

Ordered some sandwiches for take out, and even though it was quite a wait to get them, it was worth it! I haven't had a good sandwich since Take 5 Deli closed, and this was exactly what I wanted. Just a standard, no frills, normal, good sandwich, and that's exactly what I got!

First time in Player's this afternoon for a early evening dinner. Had outstanding BLT&T sandwich with an exceptional fresh salad. Very fitting that the jukebox played "I love this Bar" as we were cashing out. Thanks for supporting Alpena High Hockey.

Not only the best bar food in town, but some of the best restaurant food in town. Player's never comes up short. We bring out of town guests here all the time and everyone LOVES the food. Hands down the best boneless wings you'll have. Check FB for sushi offerings, they are stellar too. Player's always delivers, keep it up!

This is a great bar. Went out for karaoke night shot some pool had great drinks and the food Here is top tier. They make amazing drinks burgers and even have nights where they serve bento boxes, you can get them with veggies shrimp and or chicken. The staff here is very cool and friendly and the drinks are strong. This is by far my favorite bar in Alpena
