Looked up menu prior to going. After a five hour drive up was completely disappointed! Almost livid to a point. Menu choices were different & didn't even come close to we went there for. If you're looking for healthier type foods don't go here.

Tried the pierogi special which was fantastic. Also had tacos and a bowl with my husband. We were far from disappointed and would've went back while we were in town and staying very close to them but there were too many other places to try. You don't want to miss this place. Quick service and delicious!

I stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner and was pleasantly surprised at what a positive experience I had eating at a "healthy" restaurant. The menu caters to a variety of price points. I got a rice bowl for $8.25 and the ingredients were fresh in the tastiest way imaginable, and the meal was filling. I will definitely be returning. My boyfriend, who is more frugal than I, ordered one of the tacos at around $3.25-ish and a smoothie. He said the smoothie tasted natural and liked his taco so much that he promptly ordered another one. He also quickly finished his smoothie. We both agreed that we will be returning to the Hungry Hippie, and we look forward to eating healthier fare more frequently at a reasonable price point.

Great food and nice portion size. Boss Hog bowl was solid. The big c was spot on! Great smoothie! Highly recommend a visit for some grub

I ordered the Trippy Taco. It was excellent! The service was pleasant and fast. Prices are very reasonable. The place was clean and had a good vibe. I also purchased a gift card. I will definitely be back.

Stopped here for lunch with some family while on vacation. I got the Woodstock sandwich and I absolutely loved it! The bubble tea was pretty good too! Definitely stop here if you're in the area!

Fast, friendly service with quality ingredients, for a great and filling meal that’s about half the price of what it should be and a third of what it could be. If I lived here, this would be an absolute staple.

We have been looking forward to trying The Hungry Hippie! Man were we impressed! The food was fresh and filled with flavor! My husband ordered the trippy and taco and the Chuck Norris taco; he was so happy with them that he wants to come back tomorrow! I had the holy guacamole burrito! It was huge, and so yummy! Definitely worth the 30 mile drive to get there!

Really great experience at this place! Fresh tasty food and kind staff. Had a vegan bowl and a bubble tea. I have food allergies so it can be tricky to find options and it always means a lot of questions. The staff answered all my questions, were incredibly kind about checking on allergens with the kitchen and even gave me some water for my dog! What a gem of a place!!! Thank you all so much.

Adorable, good food, worth the stop

Just had to stop in when I saw the name. So glad we did. The food was great; the service was FAST, and super friendly. Kind of a funky little place that serves delicious food. Next time I am back in Alpena, this is 100% on my list of places to stop again.

Really friendly place to eat with celiac disease. I got the boss hog. It was excellent. I like the table where you take an item leave an item. Didn't have any items, I will next time.
