I've been to Alpena several times but never visited here. I enjoyed the walkway and the historical placards about the shipwrecks. I bet this place would be even cooler on a sunny, windy day with the waves crashing. I will certainly come back the next time I'm in town.

Just enjoying the lake view while passing through. It was very nice to walk in the park with my dog. Also the wildlife and water made really great pictures. Also this place has tennis courts and a playground. Also if you want a picnic it's a great place to have one.

Beautiful park! The walking/bike path in the water is fun, the breeze from lake Huron feels amazing. My 6 year old enjoyed playing on the big rocks and also at the playground. Always a great stop when visiting Alpena.

Loved walking along the water..Lake Huron was splashing actively against the rocks....lovely playground for the kids, a few picnic tables for a spot to eat lunch...

Don't be fooled by Google. On the way there I was directed to the end of the lane to the closed gates of an industrial park. You're better off to follow the other traffic and park near the yacht club/children's park area. Not really a lot to do here, but the view is great. There's also information boards about some of the shipwrecks in Lake Heuron. Not a bad place to check out.

Nice stop for a picnic! We sat on the rocks by the water and had a wonderful lunch. The play ground looked very fun, and there was pier that looked very nice. There was no bathrooms or water fountains, but there was 2 porta-potties. There was an adequate amount of parking, but could be a problem on a busy day.

I love taking my dog Gracie for walks in this park. She enjoys letting loose & chasing the Canadian geese. I only moved to Alpena a week ago, so I didn't get to take advantage of the music in the park this past summer. I am greatly looking forward to music in the park next year! They have such a beautiful stage and it's right overlooking Thunder Bay in Lake Huron❣️

We really enjoyed Bay View Park. It was breathtaking seeing all the water and the boats. I was wanting to see the lighthouse but Google maps was giving us the wrong direction to get to it. But it gave us the directions to Bay View Park which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Thank you Google maps.πŸ‘πŸ€£

Beautiful place to walk and enjoy the sunset and the view. Though I have to mention that sometimes it has a lot of tiny flies around. (A swarm of Midges and gnats)

Maybe 1/2 acre open grassed area with a picnic table and clean beach area. Parking along state street only. Shaded nicely, NO Playground that's just down the road either direction. Nice area for small private gatherings or when you really just want to relax.

Nice park. Clean and safe. I got some really awesome pics there. The only issue I have is that the park closes at 11pm.

Great little park on Lake Huron! It was my first time in Aplena and saw this park on google maps and took some time to go look at it while waiting. Great view of the Lake and watching the weather come over the lake

Well if you like listening to tribute bands I recomend this. Every band I have went to see here has been good. It's a little cool here in the evening so be prepared for it. You also need to bring lawn chairs to sit in. Just a few suggestions for anyone who wants to come and see these bands.

Super beautiful and peaceful here. Came here around 7ish before the sun set, it wasn't crowded at all and we were able to sit on the rocks right above the water and admire its beauty. We walked the pier next to the marina afterwards, which had a few interesting signs about the history of the area. Worth going to for a quick little walk and beautiful scenery
