The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the location was really cute. I would highly recommend if your in the area :)

A great find in central Birkenhead, with easy (paid) parking even on a Saturday daytime nearby. The welcome was warm, the atmosphere friendly, and the vegan food delicious. It was obviously freshly cooked and very tasty. Access is down steps into a cellar/basement so not that easy for people with limited mobility but apart from that everything was perfect - and very reasonably priced.

Lovely little cafe in the basement of a building. Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. I had mac n cheese which tasted just like I remembered it before going vegan👍 My partner had the kofta wrap which he said was good 🌱 I also had a yummy Black Forest hot choc with cream & marshmallows 😋

Sorry but pics do not do it justice. But you can tell how vibrant and fresh everything was! Been harassing them since the morning about my delivery etc & it hasn’t disappointed. Will eat in next time for sure. I’m a massive carnivore so struggle to eat veggie let alone vegan but on this “journey” it is essential. Loved it. So thank you Jorro! The garlic bread was super garlicky too mmmm! 👏🏽🙌🏽

Great food, the service was excellent, I had the macaroni and cheese with barbecue Jack fruit, was the best I have tasted so far , there desserts that we had to take away were absolutely gorgeous , the place was very clean and the staf were Very Helpful and welcoming , I would recommend going there for Luncheon , dinner or Just Cake and Tea/coffee , 10 out of ten for a Vegan Cafe/restaurant/eatery, just go and you will Enjoy .

Went with friends yesterday. They are regulars and so will I be from now on. Great venue in the basement of a building in Hamilton Square in downtown Birkenhead. A full vegan menu inclding specials and soup of the day. They also deliver. A rare find!

Jöro is fantastic - I've had amazing food every time I've either sat in or ordered takeaway, and its the kind of stuff that loses absolutely none of its appeal when compared to non-vegan foods. It's a nice place to eat at, the staff are friendly and welcoming, there's a great selection on the menu, and the prices are decent, too. Very highly recommended - I can't wait to go back!

The all-vegan menu has regular dishes, daily specials and lovely cakes, along with soft drinks and coffee, all served by pleasant staff in a cosy setting. I've visited several times, and am eating my way through the list, two mains at a time ! Everything in this place is really good for me. I like it. Highly recommend

Nice vegan food, great service and a quirky location. If in was trying to be really picky if say the menu felt like the 'eating' experience could be improved. Like to much of one thing, not enough of another, amongst other little things. But a really nice café, deffo be back. :)

Fabulous coffee whatever your choice of milk.. Good porridge and some lethal looking cakes. Need to get back and try some of the brunch, soup and evening meals on a Friday. Impressed so far but a really nice atmosphere

I had a great belly busting experience 😁 cauliflower soup of the day very creamy and smooth, mac & cheese with bbq beans 🤤🤤 my partner ordered lasagne and bbq jackfruit topped chips 🤤🤤 sooo good would recommend trying those. Lovely staff 😊

Took a friend who was a big fan of Jöro and although we are not vegetarians we really enjoyed the food. Will definitely visit again. Great value.

This place is struggling to cope with both takeaways and sit down and eat. Ordered early then waited almost an hour for food. When it arrived it was OK but could have been better..

I ordered the duck wrap, garlic bread and the brownie with ice cream. Food was delicious and could not tell it was vegan. Lovely meal.

The tasting menu was really good, including adding on matching wine with the sommelier explaining each one.

We had a great, freshly made English breakfast with perfectly fried eggs and some delicious porridge.

This is a great place the food is lovely and very good value for money. I am not vegan but my children are but I like the food as well. They do lovely cakes and cocktails as well and the staff are always very friendly and the service is excellent. Everything was great and nice. Must try!

Myself and 2 friends went for lunch here today....it was absolutely gorgeous. Two of us are not vegan but always willing to try the dishes. We certainly weren't disappointed the food was delicious, reasonably priced and the staff excellent not to forget the gin cocktails.. divine!!! We are definitely going back.

First time at Jöro and it definitely won't be the last time. Professional and quick service and not to forget, amazing food. I'm new to the area and will soon be moving over so this will become a regular plave for me to visit.

Fantastic flavours and lovely staff

Non Vegan but definitely surprised by the quality of food I saw. Slightly disappointed with my personal choice of falafel wrap as it was a little dry but it wouldn’t stop me returning to try something else. Cakes were delicious. Would be great if highchairs were available. Recommend

This is doubtless one of the finest place in the region. Every time I come there I am remarkably satisfied. They manage their high level service and the topmost level of dishes they offer. You will be always satisfied with this restaurant. Very recommended.

Good home cooked vegan food at reasonable prices. It's a local Cafe run on a shoestring budget not a Posh Restuarant... so if that's what your expecting (a Cafe) when you visit then you won"t be disappointed.

Came for a coffee and cake, was amazing coffee, matcha, gingerbread hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, coffee cake and gf salted caramel cake, both with ice cream, tasted amazing all vegan, great friendly service, definitely will come back.
