At last! A shop I can use without worrying without having to look at ingredients. Not only is everything 100% vegan, it is also gluten free so it is a paradise for people like me who are vegans for ethics but gluten intolerant through health issues. I've put in 2 orders by post now and they came incredibly quickly and I have been over the moon with them. The selection of food is brilliant and they stock items which you can't get at supermarkets as well. I just wish I lived nearer so I could shop here in person.

The range of products is great, and obviously chosen with much care. The products in the scoop store section are really good value, and you can bring your own container or use a recycled one at the shop... so it’s a win win!

My good friend, who is also vegan, was very poorly and I wanted to send her a surprise in the post to cheer her up. I spoke to the folks at Dash Vegan as I also wanted gluten free products (and to support their progressive zero-waste ethos). They were brilliant. They even offered to buy and send a greeting card with my own message in it to my friend with the order and didn't charge me extra (though I tried to insist!). The order arrived promptly and my friend was delighted. Highly recommended.

Absolutely LOVE Dash Vegan! Both the cafe and store have helpful, friendly staff who provide fabulous service and products. The store has so many amazing products that are INCREDIBLY reasonably priced! The refillable liquids are a life saver and the scoop store is fantastic...and the range of chocolate is simply delicious. So many household products that you can’t find elsewhere, it’s truly a fabulous place for one and all! The cafe has the perfect atmosphere for an afternoon cuppa with a friend, a work meeting, a family outing or just some you time. Yet to try much of the food, but it all smells and looks delicious - can’t wait to give it all a go! 10/10 all around for what I’ve experienced so far - glad to have such a great place in the centre of Notts!

Not been able to get to the store yet as not local but have ordered some of their products online and been nothing but pleased with the quality, delivery and pricing. And of course the ethics! We need more shops like this!! Such a simple concept and good news for shoppers and the environment

Wonderful little zero waste shop with so many options! Cafe was also brilliant, with everything zero waste and vegan, and most foods gluten free and very low on the main allergens, so definitely caters to everyone, not just the vegans. Great little business supporting so many local independant businesses, nothing to fault

Lovely concept and staff. We ordered the smoked cheese toast with golden onions and a Salat box with edamam, Tempeh and salat, which was great. You can get some environmentally friendly products, vegan books and sweets. Definitely a warm recommendation!

Such a wonderful shop and cafe, the staff are always so helpful and friendly. The range of food for sale in the cafe is great and the scoop shop is just what I needed to help my take another step in my zero waste journey. Would recommend both the shop and cafe to anyone, especially as a start to both a vegan and zero waste journey

The food and drinks are amazing but the service is lacking, we've given this café a few tries but the service doesn't seem to be improving. The drinks arrived ages after the food, the food was served at really random intervals despite 3 orders being cake these arrived last and one of drinks was completely forgotten and we didn't even get an apology when we mentioned this. And when we asked for a paper straw for the 2 yr old we were with we were treated really rudely. Toddlers struggle to drink out of glasses so paper or reusable straws should be provided for this.

Get regular mail deliveries from dash as has lots of choice and great food that I am unable to get locally

Lovely little shop located in the beautiful @1 Yoga space. It's a chill out experience as well as a shopping experience, with the lovely cafe just next door. Well worth a visit for anyone who cares about our planet in their food-buying choices, or anyone who is looking for a gift for that special vegan (or anyone!) in their lives.

A fab little store with a great selection of vegan foods and eco home products all tied together with a zero waste ethos. The staff are friendly, well informed and happy to share advice. Totally worth a visit... especially for the chocolates and nut butters made by some amazing artisan suppliers!!! :-)

New favourite store. <3 A great selection of high quality products but very reasonable prices at the same time. Personal atmosphere with friendly staff, happy to help and always up for a chat. Those people just believe in what they do and every time I visit I'm overjoyed to see how the store / product range has grown again 😁

Sadly Dash Vegan cafe and store is now closed, but the excellent range of eco, vegan and gluten-free free products, including household goods and pet treats, are still available online and at Vegan Markets organised by the owner, under the Rainbow Monkey Events label

Fantastic little zero waste/vegan/gluten free shop in a lovely building. The owner is really helpful and is full of advice. There's a really diverse range of products and really reasonable on price, particularly the scoop store section where you can fill your own jars, absolutely fantastic value for regular staples like herbs and spices, beans and legumes, coffee and tea, and my favourite cashew nuts! The shop gives you lots of ideas too for being less wasteful, like metal straws and no-plastic deodorant. Next visit I'll be stocking up on washing liquid!

I’ve bought all sorts from Dash now and every time, I’m pleased with the quality of the products, the pricing and also the friendliness of the team. I highly recommend their pâtés, with crackers or in sandwiches! I can’t get enough of the stuff!

The shop and the space it is in have a lovely atmosphere. Zero waste stores really need to be more of a thing so I hope this one so please support this one; The staff are super helpful too :)

Really happy with the selection here - especially the cans of water which I can refill in my fridge. Perfect for cutting down on plastic. They also have a good website which is perfect.

I was there on Sunday for the roast as part of a group of 9 people for the Sunday roast. The food looked good and tasted good too. Its a pleasant, airy and comfortable place to eat. The tables had been arranged sensibly in a U shape to accommodate the group. Food was served more quickly than anticipated, so couldnt fault the service. I understand this is a new enterprise and was impressed by the efficiency. There is a shop adjacent to the eating place which is nicely presented and has a wide range of goods. I didnt notice any condiments (I dont normally use them) , but other people might ?! I would have given 5 stars ( I'm a bit mean) but I will be going back again. I think such enterprises deserve support

A great accidental find. The girl behind the counter was brilliantly helpful and guided me to pick out products to suit my needs - often recommending cheaper alternatives to the choices I had made myself. We will be back.

Amazing shop, after moving from Brighton I'm so glad to have found a place that cares about ethical consumption here in Notts. The owner is a lovely lady and the product selection is excellent. So pleased especially with my new replaceable head bamboo toothbrush! Also, the atmosphere in the store is calming yet there's always someone on hand offering help if you need it.

Wonderful cafe with an amazing range of food, cakes and drinks, all 100% vegan and zero waste, most things gluten free, plus wheelchair accessible which is always a plus. Also 6 different plant milks! I love oat milk for coffee but it's wonderful to have the choice. Shop upstairs has amazing range of zero waste products, with the best scoop shop I've come across so far. Everything sourced by local and independant businesses, cannot think of a better place to spend your saturday afternoon. They even have cheesecakes for sugar free diets!
