Shilpa Patel the pharmacy manager is one of the nastiest human beings I have ever met. Jill the store manager is equally abnoxious and incompetent!

There pharmacy is terrible. I have tried several times to speak to a staff member regarding my prescription, no one answers the phone nor is able to answer my questions. I am always on hold for 15-20+ minutes, it’s a joke. I literally have to drive to the pharmacy to talk to someone yet seem to always get the run around with no problems solved. Poor customer service, management needs to be aware of these issues.

Consistently terrible service at this pharmacy. On numerous occasions now, after waiting over 20 minutes in line, I get told that your prescription is not ready. So I get the pleasure of coming back an hour later only to wait in line for another 20 minutes and then another 10 minutes for them to actually fill my prescription. Do yourself a favor and go out of your way to AVOID THIS PHARMACY!!!

I'm usually more generous with my reviews but not this time. They've had more than one chance and have blown it each and every time. Wait times here are ridiculous, hours and hours. Two lanes open with 1 employee, my husband is currently there waiting right now and it's been 15 minutes in line with no movement whatsoever. The staff are rude and don't seem to have a clue what they are doing. No doubt I'll be switching to somewhere else after this.

Good luck getting hold of anyone at the pharmacy. Wait times are ridiculous either in person or on the phone. This is a serious problem in this store and seems to be a chronic issue from reading other posts detailing similar problems. Basic customer service clearly lacking. Go elsewhere so maybe they'll figure it out. Doubtful though.

I have been using Walgreens as my pharmacy for over 20 years. I have always had good service. This location is horrible. They are understaffed, slow and at times rude. I was on hold for 20 minutes and when they finally did pick up - no apologies, no explanation on why my script wasn't filled. No one ever answers the phone like they like their jobs....I get the stress, but that doesn't excuse poor customer service. I had to fight for over a year to get them to stop sending requests to another Walgreens - always the same story - sorry, we will update our records. I will continue to go to Walgreens, but will not be sending any more prescriptions to this location....Just transferred them all....not to another Walgreens. I even called the 800 number to talk to someone and he was just as rude as the pharmacy...unfortunate, because I really like Walgreens.

The Pharmacy Manager (Kerti) is incompetent. Even when I call to confirm my prescription order is complete, it ususally isn't. This causes me to make multiple trips back and forth the pharmacy. I am so tired of insincere apologies for poor service that I am swithching pharamcies!

Quite possibly the worse pharmacy I’ve ever used. Every time I come here there is something wrong, missing, the wait is insane , something…. They are busy, I get it but Walgreens needs to do better with staffing and training their busiest locations, very disappointed in the employees ability to trouble shoot anything! Leaving Walgreens for good.

Absolute idiots at that pharmacy. Takes them forever to fill anything. They ran my prescription wrong. Charged me $56 for 2 things and then when I tried to discuss with them they said “well we close in 3 minutes”. Never met more incompetent or rude individuals in my life. If I could give them 0 stars I would

The wait at the pharmacy is ALWAYS long. I spent 35 minutes getting my prescription today. There was one employee working at the pharmacy counter. It was at least ten minutes before they called someone else despite there being six people in front of me from the start. It took another 4 people behind me to call for another employee. The only reason I continue to go here is because it’s the closest to my house. I also feel like the answer the pharmacist gave me to my question was contradictory to the directions on taking my prescription. So not sure what to do now.

My visit to Walgreens Huntley, IL pharmacy was awful. On day I booked the refill medications via automated phone system, the medications were supposed to be ready by 3:45 pm but when i visited the store around 9:30pm, the prescriptions where still not ready. The guy on the drive through was untrained and didn’t know anything about medical insurance started saying there is charge on the prescriptions , although an updated insurance has been there on file , the pharmacy staff didn’t process prescriptions with insurance. Since some of the medications were not ready I decided to revisit the next day to pickup the prescriptions , even the next day they didn’t fill the prescription that was not ready the previous day. I have a terrible experience with pharmacy staff. Not all of them are properly trained. Very bad experience

This particular Walgreens Pharmacy is absolutely horrible. The staff is very unprofessional, unkind, produces consistently long wait times and poor communication. This review is based on multiple experiences. Go anywhere else but here for your pharmacy needs.

This has to be one of the worst Walgreens I have ever been in. So unorganized and the girl at the window in the pharmacy was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude. I can understand if you are having a bad day but by reading other reviews on this location I'm not the only one who experienced an employee with an attitude here. It took me almost 30 minutes to pick up a prepaid item from this location. The only saving grace was the wonderfully sweet older lady at the front counter whom helped me finally get my prepaid package that no one else seemed interested in locating.

Speaking to multiple employees here and have witnessed nothing but rudeness and attitude. I hope nobody else has the type of experience I had after surgery in need of medication. Customer service is dead these days.

Constantly have to wait in long lines.A text tells me meds are ready for pickup but they're not when you get there. Or they often out of stock. Front checkout is better. Understaffed pharmacy and techs don't have answers.

Walked out after 1/2 hour of waiting for a Covid booster. Not busy, but apparently putting away the day's shipments is more important than taking care of the people. Drive in was moving but no one was assigned to the front counter in the store. The store manager had to take care of that after asking - who's taking care of the counter? no one? I'd give less than one star if I could. What a waste of time. Don't offer appointments if you cannot honor them.

This Pharmacy is a dreadful, agonizing, inadequate, unprofessional and stuffed with the least caring Healthcare professionals in 100 or more miles radius place. Lack of compassion and ability to understand simple person to person communication on the 5th grade level is degrading to any human being at the counter that is forced to deal with self proclaimed Gods and lazy Goddesses that feel like they shouldn’t be there, and customers are there for them.

Terrible pharmacy. When you call in a prescription, they say it will be ready but when you go to pick it up, it's never done. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with.

Terrible, incompetent staff who's too busy discussing their personal live's than actually working. The pharmacist Nicole is a power hungry, something I'm not able to say. Having one pharmacist call a doctor's office not once, but twice on his own accord AFTER I'D CALLED TO ENSURE THE LEFT HAND SPOKE TO THE RIGHT ONE, SIMPLY TO CONFIRM HOW EVERYTHING is on the up and up, only to have this lady tell me differently due to her oversight, practice of playing C.Y.A. instead of providing C.A.R.E. is deplorable, AND HER pseudo-aoplogies is a travesty. Take some pride in your job instead of looking out for number 1. You're employed to provide a service. So provide it or leave the field. Apparently, I'm not the only person who shares this opinion of Nicole specifically and the staff at this Walgreens location. Do not go there for how you're own wellbeing may turn out. The staff doesn't care about you.they care about a check. Which should illustrate the point I'm getting at very, very clearly. Well . . . There's no reason to ever visit this pharmacy again. There's no reason to pander their employees when the entire principle of their job's is to provide care. Not to solely be a choke point where power begets power and the meek inherent the earth. Congratulations Zumbehl and Hawks Nest Dr! You're officially one of the lowest rated locations in the area . . . Damn that's saying something 😳 A Toodles

I scheduled an appointment online at this facility for a COVID vaccination. When making the reservation answered all the questions about current health. Great appointment set for 8PM September 25 2023, received a text message confirming the appointment and received an email with a confirmation number. So far so good. Went to Walgreens arrived about 7:45. Saw there was a line at the Express RX Pickup window so I went to the Consultation window (which I've done many times before at other Walgreen properties), at the window I indicated I had a 8PM appointment and showed the email with confirmation number. I was then told I needed to wait in the Express Rx Lane. I finally got to the counter as the line was 11 deep. Its now 8:35 PM, been here 55 minutes so far. I indicate I have an 8PM appointment for a vaccine, provide my name, DOB and address. The person behind the counter spends time entering some info into the computer, then runs in back, this happens about 3 different times. After about 15 minutes the person behind the counter hands me a clipboard with the same set of info I answered on the Walgreens app when scheduling the appointment, it's now 9:15, been here 1 hour and 30 minutes for an 8PM confirmed reservation. I look at the person behind the counter ask why I need to fill out the same questionnaire l filled out on the Walgreens app, no answer provided but I needed to provide the same information provided earlier at home. Its now 9:20 I tell the person at the counter good night and proceed home. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.

Don’t bother making an appointment for a shot/vaccine, unless you have 2 hours to waste. Made one for 12:15pm and checked in at that time. Waited until 12:55 and before I left. If they’re understaffed, they should space out the time slots farther for the appointments so people don’t waste their time waiting. Update: the store called at 1:23pm to check if I’m still there. So it takes about an hour after the appointment time (during peak times/season) to actually get the shot.

I wish there was an opportunity to give this place zero stars. I'm a sucker and continue coming back here to get prescriptions filled. They're never ready and the staff is incompetent. If you are in pain avoid this place.

If you like walgreens for your prescriptions, skip this location and use another. They are always short staffed. I've had to wait days for a RX to be filled after they received it. Staff is rude as well. I've sat in the pick up line for 30mins while waiting for them to help ONE other customer.

Prior to walking in place phone call to Walgreens about flu vaccine. Was told walk ins are ok on weekday evenings since they are more busy on the weekends. Was told in advance there may be a wait time . No big deal since I’m In customer service and I know all businesses are short staffed and long hours . Was able to get out of work a little early , drove over to Walgreens waited in line 15 minutes with proper papers and forms prefilled and was told appointments ONLY . That’s why I called 1st . Everyone needs to communicate with each other . If I was told on phone prior I would have set the appointment. Poor employee organization!

I just wanna put this place on blast. I’ve been trying to pick up my sons medication for over a week now. First the app said to call walgreens so i did, they said okay we will fill it, it will be ready in two hours, I said okay and i would be there tomorrow. I went the next day and the woman had hearing problems ? because i had to basically tell and repeat the name like 5-6 times and then she only gave me mine, so i had to hit the button for her to come back and then they said “oh, it’ll be ready at 7, they just put the prescription in 2 minutes ago.” This was after 35 minutes waiting in the drive through. It was annoying , i wasn’t going to go back and wait in the line at 7pm. That was wednesday, it’s friday. I went to pick up his medication and they said “it wasn’t filled, it’ll be ready in an hour” THEY’VE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR DAYS ! Do they not know what an hour is !?!? it’s been a week because i hit refill in the app last friday and they only reason they said to call was to “check to see if we had the medication in stock.” I can be nice but at this point i’m not sure what else I can do because this place is holding my sons medication hostage. Idk who to call or who go get ahold of , the corporate or some pharmaceutical agency, get a police involved because he needs his medicine and they keep lying and saying it will ne ready and it never is. Definetly do not use the pharmacy here, switching over to walmart because this place is doing some shady stuff with my sons medication

Pharmacy personal make you wait 1hour for a vaccine. I mean why do they give you the option to schedule an specific time for a vaccine if it doesn't matter for them. Personal in the pharmacy also make you wait and then they totally forgot about you.

The pharmacy here is horrible and the walgreens app is even worse. I have, on multiple occasions, received a phone call stating my prescriptions were ready. Every month my son gets a prescription for AD/HD medicine and every month for 2 YEARS they say they are out of stock. My 10 yr old son needs this medication to help in his special education and his behavior at home. Further, for 18 months they refused to accept my secondary insurance from the VA, which they are required under federal law to accept. We've had to pay hundreds out of pocket because of their incompetence. Please note: Megan was the only one who knew what to do and finally fixed it. She is wonderful! Finally, they just shorted me on my meds. The prescription was for 30 pills. When I got home there was only 16 in bottle. Two people from the store, one being Jill the manager, called me a liar. Like I would seriously call and raise a fuss over $3 worth of pills from my psychiatrist. Upon further inspection of paper bag which meds were pur in. I found staple holes where there wasn't staples and another crease from folding the bag over which perfectly matched the second staples. Evidence shows that the bag was closed and then reopened. DON'T GO THERE!!!!!

Rudest cashier and manager ever. I literally go above and beyond to be nice to people who work in retail especially during these times when people are not so nice. When you say things like “have a great day,” “how are you?” and the response is “yup” and being ignored while she chats with a coworker is just rude and unacceptable. There’s no reason for it. The manager is barely ever in the floor. The woman in cosmetics is wonderful and always has been. Go to the Walgreens in Lake In the Hills, way better service.

Every time I go to pickup medicine, I had to wait for a long time. Last problem was that I received their automated call about refill and I accept it. Then I was informed order is ready. I go to pick it up ND THEY ONYLY HAD 5 PILLS OUT OF 90. sO i HAD TO COME BACK. AGAIN. i PICKED UP SECOND PART AND ABOUT 2 WEEKS LATER i WANTED TO REFILL MY DAILY MED BOX AND i NOTICED THEY REFILL OLD ORDER THAT I DID NOT PICK UP FOR OVER A YEAR. I ASSUMED THEY CHECK WHAT CUSTOMERS SHOULD TAKE BUT THEY DONT. NOW THEY SAY I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN. I REMOVED MY CONTACT INFORMATION AND WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN.

The Pharmacy and store is horrible. Prescription is not ready when you think it is. She “thought” she filled it. 3 hours later I get it. That’s great when you’re in severe pain. This happened more than once. Never again. Completely understaffed all around and by far the worst Walgreens I’v been to.

Sometimes the pharmacy is very busy and the wait time is longer than usual but it's the same at all pharmacies in this area. I find the employees friendly and helpful even when extremely busy. We definitely need more pharmacies in Huntley.

This location is in desperate need of help from Corporate. Much like the rest of the reviews for this location specifically, we have observed firsthand the following issues: 1. Excessive wait time in pharmacy line (sometimes nearing 1 hour), caused by being understaffed and lack of competence from employees. 2. Extremely rude pharmacy staff nearing verbally abusive especially towards the elderly (Note* this location is near multiple elderly communities). 3. Technology/PC issues- Our personal information (eg. addresses, phone numbers, insurance coverage etc) has repeatedly reverted back to information that is over 5 years old. 4. BIGGEST ISSUE (INFORMED NO LONGER HAD INSURANCE COVERAGE): On 11/4/19, was inaccurately informed by pharmacy staff that DOB was incorrect and we no longer had health insurance. As a result was forced to pay for RX out of pocket in excess of $100. We have had to submit 4 separate claims for reimbursement only to be repeatedly denied by our insurance due to Walgreens already having received payment in full from us out of pocket (as if we had no medical insurance) as well as the full amount allowed within our in network insurance coverage (as a result of the claims being resubmitted). Multiple escalation calls between Walgreens Corporate offices and our insurance (nearing 10 hours), visits to this location to speak with the Head Pharmacist have still been unable to resolve something that seems to be very simple to fix. The customer service by the location, Walgreens Corp, Walgreens 3rd party retro billing dept and numerous staff members that I have spoken with, has been nothing short of unprofessional, inconsiderate. At this point there is seemingly no urgency, want or ability to resolve this issue. When it seemed as though I was nearing a resolution for a refund, I was informed by Walgreens that I would be getting a certain amount refunded based on what they had reflected in their register records (which was not the full amount paid out of pocket). When I called Corp back, I was again met with the same type of "I dont care, not my problem" attitude and bounced back and forth to retro billing only to be told this is what they can do and this is what their records reflect, although I have already provided all of the appropriate docs from my medical insurance, receipts etc. showing exactly what was paid out of pocket and what needs to be reimbursed. If you want to get your RX's filled without a hassle and in a timely fashion, it would be highly beneficial to avoid this location at all costs until someone from Corp. sees the large amount of similar negative comments being made which forces them to have to step in and make some changes.

Tried to call and ask a simple question, completely rude on the phone. Called for a pharmacy related question, pharmacist just put me on transfer before I could say no that’s not where I need to be directed. Next person acted like it was funny, so I didn’t stay on hold for another couple minutes to go back to the rude pharmacist. I just called another Walgreens who not only answered my question, but actually listened to what I was asking, and the call was promptly answered, not ringing forever.

If I can give this a zero I would. I made an appointment earlier today online for 5:00 pm. As I walk in the Walgreens I see that they closed at 3:00pm? Why didn't I get a call saying that my appointment wouldn't work or that they were closing early? I know they have some computer system telling them who booked appointments that day. Totally unprofessional. Wasting my time..my gas..while being in pain on top of it. Won't be going back.
