Bloomingdale
Petco:
This
store
tried
to
dump
expired
product
on
me
by
taking
a
damaged
box
of
cat
food
packets,
filling
it
with
expired
products
with
different
expiration
dates,
and
taping
it
closed.
The
box
expired
March
1,
2023,
and
my
pick
up
date
was
three
months
later.
This
could’ve
been
an
honest
mistake
except
for
the
fact
that
the
cardboard
package
had
been
reassembled,
and
the
packages
inside
had
different
expired
dates
from
the
outside
packaging.
When
I
called
the
store
about
this,
they
told
me
that
yes
they
had
a
package
there
that
wasn’t
expired.
Why
wasn’t
I
given
that
package
in
the
first
place?
Very
rude
way
to
treat
someone
who
has
been
a
loyal
customer
for
20+
years,
by
filling
my
order
so
deceitfully.
All
without
admitting
fault
or
apologizing,
despite
the
fact
that
I
kept
my
cool,
and
I
was
polite
when
I
called
the
store
and
spoke
with
Veronica.
There
seems
to
be
a
real
disconnect
between
Petco
Online
and
the
locally
managed
stores.
I
believe
that
is
why
they
felt
they
could
get
away
with
this
kind
of
behavior
at
the
Bloomingdale
Petco.
