    First and last time I take my dog here. I’ve taken my dog Bentley to other Petco locations to get groomed before.. always had a great experience! We recently just moved so I decided to take my Bentley here for his first time to get groomed. My fiancé was watching how the groomers were handling him and my poor baby seemed beyond terrified being there. Nonstop crying, shaking, would not let them cut his nails and that was very odd behavior for him being that he was perfectly fine with other groomers. They were not patient whatsoever, did not make him feel comfortable at all. Very rough with him and they had the audacity to tell us they think taking him to a private groomer would be better. I’m sure they are discriminating that he is a pitbull mix because never once were we told Bentley was a problem. When we got him back, he smelled like wet dog. Was not washed properly at all, still had dirt on him and most groomers usually put a bandanna on their client’s dog and he had nothing put on him. They were very rude and ignorant here. Not knowledgeable at all and had the nerve to tell my fiancé, “you should feed him more.” Bentley has always been a skinny, muscular pit mix and eats a very high protein diet every single day. These groomers don’t know what the heck they’re talking about! They were quick to finish him and still expected a tip, yeah okay! Never taking my dog here again. I got him into Grooming Zoomies and the groomer there made him feel so loved and was so sweet to him. He didn’t give her an issue whatsoever! Do not recommend the grooming department here!

    Had an appointment at 10am. Waited for over 20 minutes to get checked in. Bad customer service when I finally got called up. Felt uncomfortable leaving my dog here. Seemed as if the employees were working like they were at a factory and not like they were working with living breathing animals. When I came to pick up my dog I was still treated with rude behavior. This was the first and last time I am taking my dog to this groomer.

    I went in to have my dog's nails trimmed/filed and the grooming department was closed almost 2 hours early. When I asked the cashier about it, she said "oh yeah, we're very short staffed so they usually leave when they're done for the day". She was at least very friendly and apologetic. Very low stock and disgusting floors with pee stains and debris everywhere, too. I really liked this location when we first moved to the area but it seems to have gone down hill over the past year.

    The grooming salon manager is the rudest human I have ever met. We use other grooming and retail environments to help us care for our 7 pets. We'll gladly go elsewhere to be appreciated

    Grooming department is awesome! My dogs smell so wonderful and their coats are so soft! They worked great with my wildly anxious scottie. Thank you Melissa! 😊

    Useless staff, only two people there know what they’re actually doing and they’re the youngest. they can’t even direct you to a customer service line just shrugs their shoulders so sad

    grooming center is top notch. Alexandra does great with our dogs. they are so happy to see her every 6 weeks.

    Cheyenne was amazing. I am a constant shopper and have always had polite and quick exchanges with staff but today I came in for something out of my knowledge base and she offered excellent service and advice. She stepped away from her register to help me look for a product and gave my dog some love even while we talked about the reason for my visit. I took a moment after to call and spoke with her manager Anthony to share this positive experience and he was super quick to come on the call and very nice to chat with. Will continue coming back and happy to write this review! I encourage more people with positive experiences to give the kudos due. Thank you!

    Had an order over $150 For free delivery-- the store had it delivered in 2 separate doordash drivers!! It was a waste of the doordash drivers time & gas-- from the same bloomingdale store!! REALLY??? Also claimed they couldn't find my order---wow. Never heard back from store manager either who claimed to look into the problem-every excuse in the book as to why it's not their fault though....

    If you know your fish are not 100% okay or see something at the water, please tell the customer not to buy it. Suggest any other fish or where to go. I had to came back because one lady sold me sick Platys knowing that there was something in their water but telling me it doesn't matter. Now i have to spend more money on remedy hoping they don't die. But thanks to the Fish expert old lady that had the patience to explain to me how to fix it and how to test my water to see how they are progressing.

    I like the store it has dynamic personnel and is clean and organized. I am a member of Vital Care for both the Cats and we have enjoyed years of service and care at the Bloomingdale Store.

    This was my first time to the Bloomingdale location, last week I went to the Saint Charles location and had a great experience. Normally I shop at Bentleys when I went to check out I had several items the cashier asked me if I would like a bag. I responded of course how will I carry everything I had out because I had several items he said it would be $.10 for a bag . This is the first time I have ever encountered that at a store in the suburbs plus I was not charged for a bag at the Saint Charles location. Moving forward, I will go back to keeping my business a Bentley’s for the amount of money I spent I thought that was just ridiculous.

    Bloomingdale Petco: This store tried to dump expired product on me by taking a damaged box of cat food packets, filling it with expired products with different expiration dates, and taping it closed. The box expired March 1, 2023, and my pick up date was three months later. This could’ve been an honest mistake except for the fact that the cardboard package had been reassembled, and the packages inside had different expired dates from the outside packaging. When I called the store about this, they told me that yes they had a package there that wasn’t expired. Why wasn’t I given that package in the first place? Very rude way to treat someone who has been a loyal customer for 20+ years, by filling my order so deceitfully. All without admitting fault or apologizing, despite the fact that I kept my cool, and I was polite when I called the store and spoke with Veronica. There seems to be a real disconnect between Petco Online and the locally managed stores. I believe that is why they felt they could get away with this kind of behavior at the Bloomingdale Petco.

    The store was clean, and the staff were helpful. I just moved to the area and brought one of my dogs with to pick out new toys, collars, and updated their dog tags also. She chose a two pack of these massive stuffed animals, so the trip was a success 🙌

    this will be my first and last time will take her to that place. I took my dog to get her haircut and I asked them to get her a schnauzers haircut. When we came back for her she still looked the same! they told us that’s she kept moving, like okay we understand that, but how are you gonna make us play u a lot of money like if u cutted her hair when u barely did,literally make no sense, unbelievable. first picture was before the haircut, the second picture was after the haircut, she stills looks the same, and the last photo was how we waited her haircut to look like.

    Finally got my fish second time visiting went on my way home from work a week ago the person at the counter I told I needed to fish nobody ever came this time I got my fish but the lady acted like I was taking up her time not the first time here unbelievable

    The tone and attitude that these women at the grooming salon have is honestly beyond me I have never felt so uncomfortable like such a bother to these women for bringing my doggie just to get a simple grooming I don’t ask for much I don’t give attitude I respect peoples jobs and careers and why can’t they just be nice for once I’ve given them multiple tries and everytime it gets more and more uncomfortable I am starting to think they are racist or simply just hate what they do because I have never felt so unwanted in a place before as I do here. Please Petco either pay them more or they need different career path because this is not it these women are horrible I wish them good luck and I hope they aren’t as miserable in their life. Last time bringing my pup here.

    This location is more expensive on some things (ie. Dog toys, bird food, dog clothing) compared to other nearby stores but is clean and well kept.

    Love this place. Great prices helpful employees and they have a lot of items any pet owner could need. I have never purchased any animal other than crickets from here so I can not comment on the live animals!
