Delicious home cooked Mexican meals . Everything is delicious and made to order here. I'm a regular and their fresh juices are the best

Love this restaurant! Nothing fancy about this place but great quality Mexican food at a great price. I love the weekly taco specials especially the grilled shrimp tacos on Wednesdays and the homemade sopes on Thursdays. The soups look amazing and are very popular. They have a huge variety of fresh juices on the menu that I have yet to try but look delicious, healthy and refreshing! The owners and staff are super friendly and the service is always great!

I love this place. Authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price. I also got a green juice. I can’t wait to try their taco specials!

They have great daily specials for $1. You can get the shrimp or fish tacos grilled or breaded! Parking is behind the restaurant.

I ordered a chicken soup. Drove from their place Pasadena to Crescent, and when I got home, the soup was just bland boiled water with no flavor. I called the place and a Jose got on the phone who identified himself as the owner of the place and his best suggestion was to just put salt in it and that should be good to go. In other words just drink salty water. He then suggested, ok, if you don't want to do that, bring drive back, bring it, and he would exchange it for another one. He added, bring me that one that you have, and he would exchange it for another one but not to expect any refund/ reimbursement for the time, gas, or bad experience because he was not here to just be giving his food for free. Although I paid $20.00 dollar. This was a very untasty service all the way around. They showed zero empathy to their disgusting boiled water they sold to me. Ugh.

As the saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover. This hole in the wall didn’t disappoint, but the flour tortillas left a little something to be desired.

Great sopes, very flavorful, good spice level for the hot sauce. The banana chocolate shake was very good, highly recommend. Seems to be family owned and operated, great hard working people.

Food is very good, but the daily specials, bionicos, and juices are what make Vero’s special. Staff are always super friendly as well.

So I found this place a couple of years ago was in the area looking for a bite to eat tried it out liked it, been there 2 more times when I'm in the area haven't been disappointed . Will be my goto place when Im in the area.

This morning I was having trouble placing an order on my app and I called and a young lady answered and she understood the problem I was I having and she helped me figure it out with no problem by the way I always eat here and the food is delicious but today I chose to order from the app I really appreciate the help keep doing a great job

Food is good, Service is also good. Prices are average. The only thing I frown upon is that this place allows customers to bring your own beer. So expect to see some drinking and arguing.

Vero's is a small rest-stop style diner, with a small front dining area and an outside seating area with a few tables. It's to the left of Orange Grove off of Lake going north in Pasadena. If you blink you could miss it. I enjoy their food very much, and the small seating area lends a small town feel that is quite charming. It's perfect for a good meal with generous potions and a spot to enjoy a couple cups of coffee. It can get packed and the parking is nearly non-existent. If you don't mind parking a little ways off and walking a block or two or around the block then this is perfect. If not I do believe you could order to-go, but personally the atmosphere is something I like quite a bit, even when it's quiet, usually during the week.

What a great find 👏 While getting coffee at Majanos trailer (at the gas station across the street with excellent coffee) we noticed Vero's across the way. We stopped by for breakfast burritos before heading out to the desert and discovered their assortment of freshly made juices and they were so good! Not to miss if you're in Pasadena! And the burritos hit the spot!!!

Very attentive service… good food, super casual atmosphere. I had the Chile relleno burrito, which was good. Had a bit too much pepper for my palate, however. My husband had the machaca and eggs. He enjoyed his meal. The highlight was definitely the agua de mango. SO good, it was like they poked a straw into the sweetest mango and bam!

There wasn't any parking in rear, it was area full up & had to park more than a block away. I ordered taquitos with rice & beans. It was ok but not near enough quacamole maybe a soup spoonful if that much.

Hidden gem of Pasadena this is actually one of the best Mexican food restaurants as well as juice shop! The Tues - Fri deals are incredible for $1 and the juice options from fresh fruit and veggies are better than standalone shops.
