People in the world never Ever! come to this hospital because they have very very bad service like say for instance they will make you wait for 5 hours just to get your help and service and you all have to wait for another 5 hours just to get the results even though theres alot of people. They don't even care what happens to their patients they just leave them there to suffer while they're taking their time getting the results or being on social media, they think I don't know what I do know cuz I saw some of the nurses on their phones like their phone is going to save they're life someday. thin next month later in December 21 2017 my mother passed away in that hospital because of the very very VERY BAD service. Take them to another hospital

This place is a joke. The staff of charge nurses are very rude and unconcerned. It flows down to the registered nurses, because if they're supervisor doesn't care, why should they care. This facility is being ran like it's a County General Hospital. Anaheim needs to do better monitoring their medical facilities. This place needs a good looking at. Medical insurance is too expensive to be treated like someone walking down Beach Blvd. facilities

I always have no choice but coming to this joke of a hospital for it being the closest to my home. The staff are extremely rude for no reason and make you feel absolutely humiliated and do not take you’re situation into consideration. Every time I step into this place it’s so disgusting it’s never clean and smells like urine. If you have another hospital to go to please go it’s not worth coming here unless you want to have your time wasted

Multiple HIPPA violations! So called “nurse” Monica in ER left an unconscious veteran patient sitting his own feces for over 2 hours. Then when the horrific situation was brought to her attention she announced to the entire wing : “he was there for an overdose”. He was absolutely not, but announcing his medical condition against his authorization is a violation of the federal law that required the creation of national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient's consent or knowledge. When he was transferred to CCU - Danika was a God send. We truly appreciate her and believe she should be a charge nurse. We actually nominated her for the daisy award. While in CCU- the day nurse never checks on patients, cardio doesn’t document any findings or what gets discussed with family by bedside. Attending MD had no knowledge of what cardio suggested due to lack of documentation. Please be an advocate for your loved ones and speak up against neglect. We let our loved one get stable enough to AMA discharge and headed Straight to VA Long Beach. This hospital needs a visit from JCAHO, to identify multiple performance standards that are broken. Not to mention people getting stuck in elevator. Horrible experience with multiple violations. Unacceptable.

I went to this place which is supposed to be a medical center. Unfortunately you can call that place anything but medical center. The staff there has no care for the patients or their time and pain. After my visit the person at the reception her name is Rene Johnson told me that I can go home and come back for my discharge paperwork and they will save it for me, also they will send my prescription to the pharmacy. I went back like 45 minutes later and when I asked her for my paperwork she said their policy changed and they had to shred them, because I was not there to take them. Also it took them like 4 hours to submit my prescription to the pharmacy and when I called them to ask if they electronically submitted the proscription they told me they did send the prescription electronically, but it was lost in the way. So be prepared if you go to that death center you can die before you get your prescription or get the help you need.

I went into the ER last week for a dislocated shoulder and was immediately greeted by caring and compassionate nurses and staff. Chris and Elaine from the nursing/assistant staff did their best to ensure I was comfortable as possible while waiting for treatment - they also threw a few jokes here and there to lighten the mood. Dr. Angelica initially treated me and explained what the plan for resetting my shoulder was and made me relaxed as possible for the process. Dr. Marcus also helped and I felt comfortable with both doctors performing their procedure. All in all the people in this ER made the experience a positive one and would definitely recommend this location to anyone who needs medical help.

Don't go there!!! this place is not clean enough , nurses will let you die in the waiting room, doctors will see you after hours sitting there, they don't have good service at all. Please do yourself a favor, don't go to this hospital. I was there for 8 hours before they see me.

I just left here. I was taken back almost immediately. Nurse and PA were kind and understanding. The PA didn’t have an answer to a medical issue I had, so she got a second opinion. The radiology team is probably the best I’ve ever had! Super kind, caring and funny! I was out of there in 3 hours. The only complaint is that I wasn’t given a bed. I had to wait in a chair. They treated me better than other hospitals I’ve been to. They also sent my prescription to the CVS across the street, which was super convenient. Thank you for your kindness and help.

I've been here 4 days and have been moved to 4 different rooms. The last nurse was extremely rude. I've been in many local hospitals and this has been one of my very worst experiences

I used to have saneana she was a great doctor now I have Alex and I really like him his change my medication and I feel much better and I see him on next month November 20 and person and I’m sure we’ll have a nice conversation because he communicates with me very well and that’s great about him. I’m sure I’ll be with him for a long time. and he understands when I’m not feeling well. I have a Lotta health problems and I’m trying to see him in person for my first time and the last few times I’ve had to talk to him over the telephone because of my health or a situation so he’s really great about that but I will hopefully see him November 20 and I won’t be home then hopefully and everything will be fine. He’s a great person.

Staff very friendly. I wish when I came in I knew to just take Tylenol and Ibuprofen, easy fix. I wasn’t thinking I was in so much pain. Kyle Rubinstein and the doctor took great care of me. I had a CT scan and found that I had broken ribs and now I’m on the mend. Thank you, West Anaheim.

No stars. Worst hospital service I’ve ever received. Never got seen by a doctor or got an explanation about my situation. Nurse came & gave me discharge papers & just told me results were in the documents with no explanation or review about what I was going through & left. I went to the front receptionist & informed her that I didn’t understand what was in the documents & nurse didn’t even try to explain & that’s when the receptionist got up to get the nurse. When nurse came out she asked what I needed & I informed her that I didn’t understand the results & what was done. I went in because I had taken multiple pregnancy tests the week before that came back positive & on Sun morning I began bleeding heavily along with back cramps & stomach cramps that were intense. I had not had an OBGYN appointment because I had schedule one for the Thurs coming up when I had tested positive on all pregnancy tests. I asked her what it meant if I wasn’t pregnant & she said no. All the information was given to me in the lobby full of other patients waiting. Normally I go to St. Jude but decided to try this hospital since it’s so close by but will never return. I rather travel farther where I know I will be attended with care & always seen & explained by an actual doctor .

I went in on Sunday night/ Monday morning around 1am with horrible joint pain and swelling of my foot. I was seen by Dr. David Reid. Not only was he great he threw in some humor that even through my pain I was able to smile. Provided me with what I needed. The nurse was just as sweet. I hope no one ends up at an emergency room but if you do this place will take care of you. Thank you West Anaheim staff. 🙏

I have experienced caring and hard working staff in this hospital. Two doctors were working so hard to meet all patients' needs. They were very knowledgeable, positive, friendly, and productive. Despite the poor hospital conditions (please, do renovate the ER), staff was warm and professional. Thank you!

I visited West Anaheim Medical Center (ER) yesterday 9/18/23 at 9am. I had tremendous nurses (Jayson & Katie), and a phenomenal PA named Nicole. I was extremely well taken care of. They were highly professional, efficient, and displayed outstanding bedside manner. I sincerely thank them for the outstanding job they did. I am incredibly grateful for all of their hard work, and dedication to their patients. Thank you.

This hospital took care of my issues very fast. Made me feel very safe and like someone actually cares about my problems. After trying almost every other hospital in the area, I've finally found one that treats me like a human being. Ironically I find this place a week before I leave for Kansas.

We have never been to this hospital. We have Kaiser but my husband had to be taken by ambulance to a hospital in our area. I was very impressed. It was very clean and well organized. Our nurse Lauren was awesome! Very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable even with all the stress we under. Dr. Mason was wonderful also. Very compassionate and knowledgeable. She explained everything in a simple and very clear way that we could understand completely! Keep up the good work! You’re doing great! Thank you for taking such good care of my husband.

I would have given 5 stars except the ED staff was very cold, not very compassionate and didn't introduce themselves when entering the room. They acted as if we were not in the room with our family member. None of the nurses used alcohol wipes to clean the IV port when giving medications or flushing the IV. Dr. Bogseth was very compassionate, patient, and helped guide us in making the right decision for our mother. We can't thank him enough. The Med/Surg unit staff and nurses were awesome. Very compassionate, caring and patient with our family. They treated us better than UCI Medical Center where my mother usually goes for medical care.

West Anaheim Medical Center may not be a huge hospital, but their ER Staff is OUTSTANDING! They are patient, understanding, efficient, caring, knowledgeable and proficient in their ability to serve the community who enters its doors. There ER is clean, the staff is helpful and you are never left in the waiting room for too long. I advise to use Urgent Care Facilities if you just have a cold or aliment and to use the ER for actual "LIFE THREATENING" emergencies and not to bombard the ER with those inconvenient things that can be dealt with in urgent care. Thus allowing the staff to do their jobs for those individuals who truly need emergency care. (Strokes, heart attacks, head trauma, burn victims, shooting victims and car accidents, for example).

My son was at Knotts and fainted and hit his head and so we were brought by ambulance. The nurses were very attentive and even though there was a Medical emergency that they had to deal with. They still made sure we were kept up-to-date on when the doctor would be able to see us. They got him into CT quickly had results back in under 30 minutes. An amazing team they have there.

Went there due to upper abdominal pain and came home without any pain. So glad I didn’t have anything serious! My ER nurse, Erick, has great bedside manners and checked on me multiple times to see if I was doing okay. I was impressed by how fast I got checked-in and I was discharged within 4 hrs!

After sitting there for hours in pain, the nurse blew my vein attempting to insert IV which she then fished around even after pulling out the needle. I was left with a HUGE hematoma and constant arm pain along. (I was in the medical field for almost 5 years and there were several Things that were a HUGE no no to do while dealing with veins and the proper way to do things.) on top of that, she placed the tourniquet only an inch above where she inserted the IV which is WAY too close to the site and will cause major problems, which it did and caused my arm to go purple. The color came back after 3 hours. After all the tests the PA had no other options as to why I was in so much pain because she didn’t see anything that was major in her eyes they said there was nothing else they could do. Come to find out from other sources I could have had a few different issues going on which they refused to test or even suggest to me. Overall it was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had. On top of all of this I am pregnant which didn’t matter to anyone or the care they provided or I guess I should said lack of care. Worst facility

I had a great experience when I went there for my MRI 2 days ago, right from Alicia in Admitting to Radiology. Both Daniel and Autumn who were who were in charge of doing the MRI of my knees were very gentle and understanding. I was claustrophobic and they worked with me to make me warm and comfortable. Thank you! I walked in there after 38 years when our daughter was born in that same hospital.

Truly one of the best hospital we have yet seen. They treated my mom with care that was beyond our expectations. All the nurses and physicians were knowledgeable, caring and loving. Thank you CCU / ICU for doing everything you can to make my mom comfortable. Thank you Dr. W ( cardiologist) Dr. Vunna ( cardio thoracic surgeon ) for saving my mom’s life. We are so blessed …

We were not planning on the hospital as part of our Disneyland experience but life happens. From the time we entered the ER until we left every staff member was kind and professional. Special kudos to Dr Paige and Nurse Sara who took great care of my husband. So glad we chose this facility. It is an older building but the service inside was excellent.

My brother came with a head injury and a broken wrist. He waited almost 6 hrs. they didn't even gave him a brace or cleaned the blood on his face!!! I mean really?? One thing is being busy and another is neglecting a patient and make him wait hrs for his results. Also they said they can't help with the fracture there..... He was also spitting blood and had nose bleeds. He told them he had pain in his ribs and they said he was FINE!!! that if it was serious he would be unconscious......horrible horrible care. Avoid this place and go somewhere else. In an emergency it will be faster.

People were very helpful and friendly I felt comfortable. The only complaint I have was the scheduler her name was Nancy I already told the manager Candace. She was rude to me over the phone she canceled my order and called my orthopedic doctor and told them that they don't accept my insurance which I have Medicare.

My experience was wonderful. The receptionist have complete empathy. They felt my pain and didn’t just send me out of my way to the next dentist. The really tried to find room for me to get treated. The Dentist, was very articulate and well mannered. Gives you full briefings with no get rich schemes. I felt very much taken care of then when it was all over I cried a bit. I’m a grown man with a now extracted abscess tooth. Thanks to the empathetic nature of these people who work here. I wish I remembered their names, but I’ll never forget their faces. We’ll done guys. I appreciate what you all did for me. Thank you forever 🥲

Took my mom in for a out patient procedure, everyone at the center was nice and helpful. But the nurses in the Gi recovery were beyond caring and comforting. Marg went above and beyond and all the other nurses were excellent also I just didn’t get the names. Very happy. Thank you!
