Bait and Switch tactics. Called about a vehicle I was interested in. Spoke with Chris for 2022 Mazda 3 Hatchback. He pushed me to drive hundred of miles today to purchase the car. I asked him what the price was out the door and he instead asks me "how much do you want to pay?". After 3 hours of negotiations he told me the car was "sold" when he didn't like my offer. He never showed me the sticker price nor mentioned it. Instead, he's asking the customer how much "you want to pay". What kind of dealership would allow this? You can check Spreen Mazda Better Business Bureau (BBB) for similar stories. (They have 1/5 rating btw) I recommend you take your business elsewhere or avoid dealing with Chris. Edit: Manager called me now. He called to complain about my experience and leaving 1 star review. LOL Instead of apologizing, he's blaming me that he didn't waste 3 hours of my time but only 2 hours of time. He's checking the records instead of correcting Chris or trying to make the situation right. Avoid this dealer ship at all costs

Sales Maneger JIMMY and salesman KAM are both scam artists..we went there to get 2023 Mazda cx30 that is not in the lot..we kept telling KAM cx30 select,Jimmy put cx30 S on the paperwork without telling us. General manager useless too.. Avoid this dealership.

5 bold stars. To begin, Marcelino is hands down the smoothest person I’ve dealt with when purchasing a new vehicle. (This is my 4th). I came in wanting the CX50 and Marcelino showed me all of the features and the test drive was great (some have been awkward). He was very patient in my millions of questions. I got the deal I was looking for and Marcelino was very helpful in all of that. Jose and Perla were awesome too ! Toni, made the signing process simple and direct. Explained all the documents and made the process super fun , (in past experiences, they always want to sell me more stuff I don’t want and are always pushy ). Very knowledgeable in this area as well. All in all, I would definitely recommend this dealership. Everyone said hi and made it welcoming. I don’t plan on returning to Toyota and will forever be Mazda now. Loving my CX50.!!!!

I came in not expecting at all to find the car I wanted, and ended up leaving with exactly that, and the showroom car, no less! 😄 There was a little bit of a disagreement at the beginning of the sale, and some negotiating had to be done, but it wasn’t anything I wouldn’t expect at a car dealer 😅 and my salesperson Stephanie Gonzalez was still very accommodating. Ultimately, she and her manager Matt made sure that I got the deal I wanted, which was the most important thing for me at the end of the day. Overall, very happy with my experience!

Drove down from Santa Ana to Spreen due to their customer service & well communication. Wyatt, Jimmy Armany, & Alexis were a tremendous help in assuring I left with the CX50 that I truly wanted. So much that they went above and beyond to assure it arrived the day I drove over. Wyatt consistently sent in live videos or check ins. Jimmy assisted with getting closer to the price I desired. Alexis walked us through the vehicle and assured we were taken care of throughout the day. It was a seamless transaction, I’d highly recommend Spreen Mazda!

DO NOT COME HERE FOR A CAR SALE. Sales person(Dario Mendez)and their manager (Rylee Kropp) will playing typical dealership game with you which offering you an aggressive price and put on additional accessories on you. A door safety guard for $999. Would give you a negative 5 star if i could. I called in this morning to request a quote, Dario gave me an really aggressive price (MSRP-1000). When I asked if they have any mark up or dealer accessories. They said they don't have any mark up, and usually they would install some accessories. But they would like to earn your business to waive all accessories. I told them I don't want any, Dario said he will remove it, but in their process he still have to mention it. Okay, b/c of the aggressive price and he promise to remove it, I decided to drive all the way from irvine to here. Once I get there, he started with running my credit.(1st game) so I asked him give me the final price before doing that. keep in mind that it would hurt credit. (2nd game)Then this guy pulling out the price sheet starting introducing their program. Okay, since you mentioned you have to introduce this, i let you to do so. Security + door guard + 5year warranty + other 3 end up with 483/month for 60 months with I pay off my car???? I am not an idiot, they dont have break down for each item, but with car pay off, you have to pay 483/month for 6 months just for those programs? You can buy another car with those programs price. Man... (3rd game) I told him no, I dont need any of them, I just need the car. This guy went back one time with saying here you go this is the price which includes $999 door safety guard. I said no, i dont want it, can you wave that. He said ok, let me talk to manager, then he walked away helping another customer. Few minutes, come back with same sheet, told me thats the price. I asked him to wave that, hes becoming angry no, im not avoiding that. Then what you promise on the phone. You are making me driving 1.5 hours traffic, didnt take my dinner to make these deal. Now you cannot do what you promised to me. Wasting my time. The OTD price is same as what tustin dealer offered. Dude, no wonder you guys doesnt have customers b/c you are playing your customers and didnt respect their time asking them to make the trip. I can have the same OTD price at tustin why i am driving here. If you cannot do it, just let your customers know, it is fine, I still respect you. But if you are playing games with you customers, you will eventually lose all your business. For those ppl who see this review, please be aware DO NOT WASTE TIME HERE. I will post later on where I find good deal and sale person.

This was probably one of the most frustrating visits to a car dealership I've made. I lease a car from spreen mazda, during these times I can't afford to own 3 cars since business is really low right now. I called ahead to see if I could trade in my car and told them I couldn't afford to continue pay and asked if there were no fees. They said no, no fees unless the car has anything wrong with it. Which it doesn't at all its a 2021 mazda 3, only used to go to work and back. I live an hour away from this mazda now and once I got there the show started. They couldn't honor what they said on the phone and started telling me I could get a new car instead or they could offer me only 19k to buy out my car and I would have to pay up the rest right there and then. My car is worth much more than that I was willing to just give up the car for thier asking price but 19k was a lowball. A 2019 mazda 3 is being sold for 26k.lol I should've guessed it, my wife had a hard time even getting a car here for the right price and since I wasn't there, now I see why. I will not be coming here again and I will recommend all my friends and family to do so. I know small businesses like this need to make money even during this dip in chips for cars and they need to make money. But some humanity would be nice.

Horrible service. Do not come to this location if you do not want the runaround. My first time showing up to my appointment they told me they did not have any master tech that would be available due to uncertain circumstances. He assured me the next time I would have somebody available in which I just showed up to my appointment and again there is no master tech available for service. So not did I just waste a large period of time one day but two days dedicated to an issue I cannot even get handled because negligence in staffing. At this point I'm just going to a more reparable company.

Had a great experience negotiating for the car,. however the financing/purchase part was horrendous. The salesman was great but the rest of the process sucked. I’m having problems with my financial institution cause of them. this the exact problem i have with shady dealers. I was already pre approved with check in hand and it turns out they didn’t use the check. the whole “oh we work with your bank.” is bs. I already worked with my bank to provide the payment. and for this reason i would not recommend this establishment. sorry guys. not trustworthy.

I want to take a moment to recognize the Spreen Mazda dealership, especially Jimmy, on assisting me with the purchase of my dream car CX-30. Jimmy was beyond professional and so nice. He stayed late and being so patient with us to have the contract done. I’m so happy and couldn’t have done it without him! Such a great guy. Definitely recommend!

I will never use their tire or service department again . I was told during oil change I should change my front two tires this was the first weekend of September 9/5 . I paid about 300 and it hasn’t even been a month today 10/3 I have a flat . Never had an issue with my prior tires . I only commute 2 miles to my daughters school and back park in my driveway nothing ran over . I call and no warranty no discount nothing . Horrible not an investment at all.

I bought a 2022 Mazda CX-5 last week and I LOVE IT! Lovely experience and awesome customer service! Luis was so knowledgeable and very professional. Ricky from finance was super fast and very nice. Honestly, it took longer for me to make a decision than getting the paper work done! Thank you so much Spreen Mazda! You made my year!!!

I really like Mazda as a brand, but even more impressive is the hospitality at Spreen Mazda. Dario, who helped me with my car purchase, was very friendly and tries to get you the best deal possible. Definitely going back to get another, hopefully soon!

I had a very positive experience at Spreen Mazda. Stephanie Gonzalez was very helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicles I test drove. I ended up buying the CX-5. I am extremely happy with my purchase and am excited with my new ride. Thank you Stephanie!

Bought my first per-owned car here. Danielle was very professional and friendly. The price is fair considering the current market, the car was in great condition, and while there was the usual 'dealer-added accessories' that no-one wants, it's fairly negotiable. The overall markup is expected and nothing more than what you'd see in any other dealership. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Dario Mendez was excellent to work through the numbers over email, phone, text which made the process much easier! Avoiding the annoying haggling of the typical dealership experience. They agreed to a fair price on every level. I did not purchase the extended warranty because it was not a manufacturer warranty, and it is not rated high. 😐 but other than that the entire experience was 5 stars 🌟

I have been keeping an eye out for a 2022 Mazda CX-30 Carbon Edition and they keep selling so fast... I spoke with Dario and he took my eagerness very seriously and not only had the vehicle in stock on Saturday but had it ready for me to test drive as I pulled in. Never have I ever dealt with such a smooth and quick experience while purchasing a vehicle. He didn't run me around in circles or feed me any BS. As a woman, I typically have issues with car sales as I am assumed to be car illiterate, but he is far from stereotypical. He is phenomenal!

Saleswoman Tracy was great. Her boss was not. Showed up to buy a car listed for $27k. They would not sell me the car for the listed $27k, rather $30k. If I knew the price was Actually $30k, I would not have taken off work, driven 30 minutes, and spent 3 hours looking at their various cars (at which point it was revealed to me that there were mandatory up charges). I asked to speak to the guy calling the shots, but he wouldn't come out to talk to me. Seems crazy to me that I was willing to pay listed asking price, didn't try to negotiate the price at all, but they let me walk because I didn't want to buy door edge guards or a security package. If the car is $30k, just list it for $30k. i would not have waisted of our time.

I have zero complaints. I love the CX9 Signature we bought - it is a beautiful vehicle and price/quality/value ratio is off the charts. We now have 3 Mazdas and will probably get one more in a couple years. Anyways, Tracy was excellent - perfect salesperson. Sales process was pretty quick. I hope this was a win/win transaction because I definitely feel good about it on my end. Cheers! And thanks to Destiny for reaching out with her customer service!!!!

Bought a 2020 Mazda from them. They never cleaned the interior like I was told, there's stains from God knows what and everytime I turn a light on in my car my battery dies. Trash dealership! Don't purchase anything from them. As soon as I drove off the lot the service light came on and the key fob was low battery. The only good thing about this dealership are the nice workers that work at the front desk.

Just purchased a Mazda CX-50 With original intent to only look at cars. There was no pressure, and the experience was seemless. We were greeted and assisted by Adrian who was helpful and very accommodating. She was very informative, and for any questions she didn’t know, she immediately researched and provided the answers. In addition, she arranged for us to test drive the only remaining CX-50 at the time which was in the show room. It wasn’t easily accessible as other cars had to be carefully maneuvered out of the show room just to bring the car out. She made us feel like valued customers even though we indicated interest in only looking. Her personable, professional, and sincere approach helped us to find the perfect car for our needs.

We came to check out Mazdas for the first time and Dario was very knowledgeable. We never once felt pressured and he tried to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you Dario! We love our new CX-30!

I was very satisfied with the sales staff (Dario, Jose and Tracy) at Spreen Mazda. They were very well trained, pleasant, responsive and highly professional during the whole process. They always made me feel like a valued customer. I’m happy that I ended up buying my certified used car through them. A successful business rests on the good work and goodwill of a competent staff.

After a horrible experience at another Mazda dealer we decided to check out Spreen. We walked in with everything in hand and knew exactly what we wanted. We let Jimmy (the sales manager) know we didn't want to be upsold on anything, and we know what we wanted. He listened and respected our wishes. Marcelino took over (sales representative) and showed us the cars we wanted to look at. No pressure, no upselling, no bargaining. He was open, honest, and listened (which was different from any of the other dealers we went to.) Loving my car. Jimmy checked in with us a few times and we left there happy and with a car! Marcelino and Jimmy took amazing care of us.

Tracy Vong was my salesperson---her customer service was OUTSTANDING! At a time when cars in general are sometimes difficult to locate, Tracy worked tirelessly (for a month!) to find the car I wanted, in the color I preferred-red. Not an easy task! The day I picked up the car, Tracy had already had it detailed so that it looked great, and had already set many of the features to what she felt I would prefer. She spent time with me going over how to operate the newer features of the car, answering my questions, etc. I would highly recommend Tracy-she is very knowledgeable, hardworking, personable and pleasant.
