This place is really good! Can’t believe I didn’t know about until today and I live nearby. This will now be my go to spot for ramen and bowls. I got the kuromayu ramen bowl which was good and the chashu pork was sooo tender and delicious. The ramen broth was good (not the best but still good) and not overly salty. I would get the ramen again solely for the meat. Three pieces of meat doesn’t cut it for me so next time I will add more chashu pork for $3 to my order- you won’t be disappointed. My mom got the chashu bowl. My goodness, the flavors of chashu pork with the pickled onions, egg and green onions were just sooo damn good. We went for lunch and I wish I could’ve had her bowl for dinner but sadly she wanted it for herself lol. This place is seriously amazing with top notch service and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

This place is a gem. The broth is the most savory broth i ever had. Chashu Rice bowl is also super delicious. Aside from the food so good, the staff were outstanding. Will definitely coming back!

This was my first time here and it didn't disappoint. The ambience was chill with darker interior, which i liked. The apps were surprisingly delicious. The Karaage chicken was juicy and crispy, the gyoza was cooked just the way i like it (fried on one side and steamed the rest as it should be), and the garlic edamame was better than most. It was all pretty addictive. I am pretty picky with my ramen from noodle texture to broth thickness and this impressed me. The cherry on top of all this was the great service we received from Tia. She gave excellent recommendations and was very patient and answered all my questions knowing that I was having a hard time deciding what to get. All in all, it was a great dinner experience.

When I crave Ramen, I usually go to Little Tokyo and eat at Daikokuya and order the Kotteri. But since I work around Maru Ramen, on my way home, I gave it a try. I arrived at 4pm, so it was not busy at all. I ordered the Kuromayu Ramen and was not disappointed. Broth was rich and the chachu was tender. The Ramen was ok, but the portion was small for me. (I am 270lbs) As Korean/Japanese American, I have tried almost all types of Ramen from dozens of Ramen shops. Although I wouldn't say it's the best ramen I have eaten, it is really good. The only negative I have to say is the portion. For $16, I was expecting a little more.

The staff is beyond amazing. Such friendly, tentative service. Food was delicious and the place was clean as well. My first time at a restaurant since covid. They had outdoor dining, which is better than nothing during these tough times. This place is a gem! Thank you Team Maru!

I went to Maru Ramen for lunch and I loved the ramen there. I had the Kuromayu ramen and it was phenomenal. They make their own noodles and house broth which is a must. Maru is some of the best ramen in the valley I would highly recommend stopping by and would love to come back.

Food is good but service is slow and they charge extra for everything. I asked to put the meat on the side instead of in the soup for a to go order. They said they have an extra charge for container. I told them to just remove it. Also, asked and paid for extra bean sprout once and they barley put any at all. Food is good, service is slow, and they charge for every small thing which is a turn off.

I love the Ramen and the atmosphere here at Maru-Ramen. Staff has always been lovely and I've come months apart. I have introduced family members and friends and they love it too. I like to order garlic endename, the spicy miso Ramen, matcha green tea (comes unsweetened), and for dessert Mochi! Good vibes ONLY ♡

Personally, I think this is the best ramen in the west valley (if not the whole valley). The brother is viscous and delicious, very rich and not salty. All the rice dishes are excellent!! My fav thing is to get the kuromayu with a side of small fried rice. You eat the ramen, then dip the rice in the broth!! Best combo in the world!!!

My only complaint is the sake description doesn't match with the actual flavor.

Amazing service and the food was incredible! Would definitely recommend the soup-less ramen if you are looking to try something a bit lighter. Karage had a great crisp and was not oily! Also, they have Diet Coke on tap! :)

This is where I take all my friends from outside the SFV. Every item here is elevated and reasonably priced. I usually get their rice bowls but of course their ramen is top tier. Karaage chicken is a must try as well. The cherry on top is the staff. It has been so consistent over the years. Today was especially great. They were so charming and extraordinary. Wonderful ladies. 5 Stars!

What can I say? We had one of the best experiences at Maru! All the starters we had were top notch and the Ramen was even better. Very tasty and service was excellent! Will definitely repeat our visits to Maru and we highly recommend it!

To the business owner: the smoke is very strong indoor. For the sake of customer experience and your employees’ health, PLEASE improve your ventilation! Cooking fumes can lead to lung cancer! I personally won’t dining in this place until the air quality is improved. Not to mention they are understaffed, which means longer wait for everything. The food itself is delicious: ramen is not as salty as many other places but still flavorful; other dishes are tasty as well. 5 stars to the food, 0 star to the environment.

Couldn't believe the quality of this place! Much better than other local places. Looking forward to many many years from these wonderful people! They reopened and still have the best ramen available! Welcome back, and hope you stay for a long time!

10/10 Excellent service and food!! I was a little worried since we got there on a Friday night at peak dinner time, but there was no wait and the food got to the table quickly. Our server was Tia and she was super sweet and gave the best recommendations! I got the Kuromayu Ramen and the mango mochi ice cream for dessert like she suggested and 🤤🤤 it was soooo good! The broth wasn't too salty like at some other places I've been, they added the perfect amount of black garlic oil, and the pork was the most tender-buttery-amazing thing ever. I think this is going to be my new favorite ramen place. Rip Small Island

It's honestly a great place to dine. If you like Ramen then definitely give this place a shot. It's a bit hidden, I personally would've never known about it if it hadn't been for my friend taking me there. It's very busy during the evening but that adds to the overall atmosphere. One thing to keep in mind is that it's not very big. It doesn't have a lot of tables but the wait times aren't long at all. The staff are very friendly and the ambience is great.

Best Ramen place I’ve ever had! Extremely Creamy, so much flavor, and the restaurant inside is very nice.

Such a great ramen place and you get a lot of noodles with your soup. My friend and I came here for dinner after work. I seen and read the reviews about this place for a while but never had the chance to come here until today. Finding parking was easy since they have many spots in the back. When I walked in, I got seated right away but keep in mind that everyone in your party has to be there for you to put in your order. I got the Spicy Miso Ramen with no green onions, no bean sprouts, no seaweed and asked for extra noodles. The food didn't take long to come out and it was very good. I shouldn't of got extra noodles cause I thought they give a little but but I was wrong. The service was great, the waitress check in on us from time to time. They also take Apple Pay as a payment method too.

they're okay. i tried the bone broth ramen and the broth itself was not very rich, a bit too thin, the noodles were unoffensive but also pretty forgettable. the chashu is nice (falls apart and melts in the mouth with flavor), as is the egg (damn near perfectly soft boiled and pickled), but the wood mushroom was rubbery instead of crunchy and the bamboo shoots were above average sweet. overall not a bad experience but Futaba is right across the street from them and Koppan Ramen just a short 5 minute drive further near the mall and both have better parking options. this place does have better seating space than Futaba though. i've waited 45 minutes for both Futaba and Koppan, i wouldn't wait for Maru. i would eat here without qualms if brought by friends but i definitely know there is a greater experience to be had nearby.

Ramon. Very nice server. Once you meet him, he’ll give out a striking energy. Ramen is really good. The texture is firm. I ordered the Kuromayu Ramen. I recommend putting spice in the ramen. I also ordered Shrimp Pops and Karaage. I recommend those appetizers, those two strikes you with flavor!
