This is the best gym I've ever been to hands down. Here are a few of many reasons: - Full 24 hour access. My schedule is all over the place, so it's nice to be able to do very early mornings or very late nights. - The culture here is top notch. I was fairly new to weight lifting when I joined, and I also have several mobility issues. From day one, I have never stopped learning. Everyone there is very kind and eager to help with form, spotting, etc. Ricky has been very helpful and always goes out of his way to serve people in the gym. - There are plenty of weights to go around. I never have to wait for a squat rack or a bench. (I workout in the mornings and night time). - The atmosphere is great. The people who come here work hard and play hard. Being in this environment has definitely helped me grow in my fitness and health. Overall, this is a great gym filled with great people. I enjoy every time I show up, and would highly recommend this gym to any family or friends.

Was visiting Sanata Maria for a few days, but still needed a place to lift and a global gym would not do! Searched gyms in the area and based off of online pictures, this gym looked like it was the one. Turned out to be BETTER! Such an incredible find! This little, but mighty, gym has EVERYTHING! I felt like a kid in a candy store. Ricky was super friendly, instructed us on how to enter/leave the gym and then let us do our thing. Such a great environment and we'll definitely return anytime we're in Santa Maria!!

By far the BEST gym in town in my opinion. All the members are very welcoming and in time this place becomes a second home. 24hr access and strongman equipment that you wont find anywhere else.

Gist: Private, environmentally friendly, high quality equipment(for those who are wondering), and high standard for those who are goal-oriented. Unlike most gyms where they clearly want your money and aim to monopolize. Ricky, owner and operator of Invictus Sports Performance, is a very passionate gentleman and chooses you to become the best version you strive to be. My experience thus far…. Before actively talking to Ricky and being coached by him, I was going into my 2nd year of powerlifting and have had 3 powerlifting coaches which have contributed greatly to my overall wellness. However, all 3 coaches were online and were messaged via email/text. Getting down form check, eating habits, proper RPEs(Rep Per Exertion), and so forth have been a difficult journey when being coached online. To top it all off, I wasn’t their only athlete either. For the first few months of coming into Invictus Sports Performance, Ricky was very intrigued by how analytical and precise I did each and every workout. Obedience was one of my many traits and coming from an athletic background made me strive for more. As time went on, Ricky and I had nonstop questions about ways to improve my overall lifts. He gave me key points to better my form and compensate for prior injuries. Although I was programmed online, I had chosen to listen to Ricky and not hit my coaches' goals since my form was deviating from optimal performance. As my programming started to end, I continued to powerlift all year around. From there, I had a huge weight gain, pounds on the bar started going down, and I felt sluggish. Felt like my gym journey was over, so I stopped going for a few weeks. During this time, life just hits you in the face, but that’s another story to be foretold. Around mid-April, I came back to the gym and told Ricky I wanted to join the Military or at least be in much better shape. From there, I was coached by Ricky. He enlightened me about on and off seasons of powerlifting, proper calorie deficits, and, everyone’s biggest fear, cardio. At this time I was weighing 245lbs @ 5’4” and I was scared. As the first 3 months of training went by, I was a tad bit absent since priorities have changed, but I did my best each and every time I showed up to the gym. At that moment, I weighed in at least 20lbs lighter and my body felt better. I was very ecstatic about the results and I was happy every time someone told me I looked better. Currently, we are in the deload week of the 4th month and I’m achieving new goals and letting my body rest. When considering a gym and a coach, I hope you choose Invictus Sports Performance because you are choosing yourself first. Both Ricky and the members of Invictus Sports Performance will treat you like family and help you meet your goals. Truly, without them, I probably wouldn’t be at the gym and I hope to see you there soon! Health is always wealth.

I love this gym! It has a wide range of equipment that is good quality and the gym is open 24/7. Ricky is a great trainer who really focuses on your goals. You can tell right away that he knows what he’s doing. He takes the time to see if there’s anything you need to work on (imbalances, form, technique…etc). I have never had a trainer like him! He genuinely cares about his clients and gym members. He goes out of his way to make sure you’re not injured/having any discomfort. Also, he is really cool to talk to and the vibes of the gym are great. Everyone is just trying to work on themselves and motivate each other. I’ve never been to a gym that has such a welcoming environment. I definitely recommend this gym to anyone. You won’t find another gym like this in the Central Coast!

I really love the 24/7 access here. Ricky, the owner, is very knowledgeable. He does a great assessment regarding your strengths and where your body compensates. He targets those areas and really focuses on doing the correct techniques. All the members are polite and focused so it makes working out here easy. More focus on strength equipment than cardio but there is an outdoor space if you want to do more agility work.

Been training at Invictus for a little over a year. It’s by far one of the best gyms I’ve been to in the area. Ricky the owner and other gym members have been helpful in my fitness journey. Highly recommend.

Invictus is one of the greatest training facilities I’ve ever been too. They are welcoming to lifters of all skill levels and have a world class selection of equipment. The owner, Ricky, was incredibly friendly and helpful and within minutes I was familiar with the equipment and able to start training. I cannot recommend this space enough to anybody looking to take their athletics seriously!

Ricky is an amazing personal trainer. Right from the beginning I could see he is extremely passionate about weightlifting and his business. He is also extremely patient and really cares how you feel with each workout. He also takes the time to evaluate your strengths and areas of weaknesses aka improvement. His workouts are well planned out and if you have any troubles he’s quick to adjust the exercise so you can do better next time. I have been a client for about 5 months and I came in with no experience whatsoever in weightlifting. With Ricky’s help I have gotten so much stronger physically and mentally. Again I can’t thank Ricky enough for feeling amazing physically. I also love this gym because the equipment is top of the line and has very passionate members as well. Ricky has worked very hard to make this gym very welcoming even to people who are just starting out in weightlifting. I really advice anyone who is passionate about weightlifting and their overall fitness to be a member at Invictus Sports Performance. Also if you’re intimated by gyms or don’t know what to do please get personally trained by Ricky! You will not regret it!
