It is an interesting place that gives access to visit the Guadalest Castle; It is a house built in the 17th century that belonged to the Orduña family, trusted people of the Marquises of Guadalest. On the tour you can see paintings, objects and furniture from the time, what I liked the most was the library. At the entrance they gave me an information brochure about everything that is indicated with numbers.

Worth the money if only for the view. If you are interested in history then this visit is a must!

4€ entrance fee and well worth it. The house is fully furnished, so gives you a good idea of how peopled lived in this house at the time. There are arrows to guide you around which is a great help. You also get access to the remains of the castle. Although there is not much left to see. However, the views you get from climbing the many steps are well worth the effort.

This museum or Casa Orduna gives a great insight as to how this noble family lived for many generations here since 1644. Lots to see in all the different rooms. You have to go through this Museum to get up to the top of the castle to enjoy the panoramic views.

It was interesting to see a part of history, walk through rooms, look at furniture, home staff of the past. On entrance you will get a paper in Spanish or English with history of this building written on

Interesting visit. Besides walking through the beautiful streets of the town, there is little else to do when you visit.

The place is beautiful with feeling of real history but watch your time before entering the museum. They will sell you tickets and let you enter the museum before siesta when the museum is closed and after 10 minutes they throw you out. They should start informing people or stop selling tickets at least 45 minutes before they close. Nobody is running through a museum for god's sake.

Very nice little museum. For 4 euros you can retrace the history of the orduna family and discover everyday life in the 1850s in the Spanish countryside. You can then quickly visit the castle and see the most beautiful viewpoints in the village, I highly recommend!

Many years traveling through Spain and abroad (I am 57 years old) today in this place and in my own country, I find myself on this visit to the Castle grounds (I also do not understand why it can only be visited by accessing through this house) an arrogant, unfriendly worker and inflexible. The fact is that 1.5 hours before and after paying our tickets, my wife and I visited rooms of the house and later part of the Castle, ending at a turnstile that only allows exit. We realize by reading information that we have skipped part of the visit due to an error interpreting the arrows on the route and we want to see that area that would not have taken more than 5 or 10 minutes. We show up at the ticket office and this person does not allow us entry even if we show him the ticket. He says with a mocking smile that I could have met him on the street, I tell him that I also have the receipt for the card payment, but more bluntly he tells me that it cannot be passed... I tell him that where does he say it for this reason and She continues with her haughty face that she says so, and that's it! What if I want you to put a note in the complaints book? So, I dont want to! waste my time at that moment filling out a long form that we would see where it ends. I prefer to write it here so that everyone can read it. It is January 27th and there are no queues or people waiting to get in, we are not facing a busy visiting period. This worker's kindness and her ironies are out of place.

LG Tjf63

Didn't got why this place is so famous? Actually, nothing to look.

Agree with other five star reviews; and when the kid needed a band aid they were very helpful.

We went to Guadalest with great enthusiasm after several years of wanting to go. The town is beautiful, but the big disappointment has been the Casa Orduña, since it is the only way to go up to the castle and what a coincidence that it was closed on a day and time that according to the website and the local merchants claimed it was closed. open. The least they could do in this museum is to comply with the schedules indicated, since there are people who travel many kilometers to get to this town and go up to the castle. It is a shame. We called by phone several times and they picked us up but no one answered on the other end... Anyway... we have traveled 200 km for nothing. Thank you Orduña house for making us waste our time and money....
