I’ve been there for lunch with two friends, the 16th of August and the service was terrible. it was pretty busy, but they make us waited 1 hour and 15 mins just for three drinks and another 1 hour and 45 mins for the food. And it was literally for a beer and a piece of bread with one slice of prosciutto and some fresh tomatoes on top. So when I went to ask about the food they told me to wait, we were three and we ordered three bruschettas, (so a piece of bread with something on top) they also forgot one of the plates saying that we didn't ordered one. so one of my friend steer waiting for 3 hours didn’t eat at all. When I went inside to ask to pay they were making us wait another half hour just to show us the bill. Unacceptable

🎶 Loved this place, was instantly drawn to the stunning decoration whilst exploring the area. Then discovered its musical connection and that it hosts Fado nights. Even though the terrace is so cute, I decided to sit inside and indulge in the music and take everything in. 🍽️ Hugo the waiter was very kind, he accommodated some of my food requests and explained to me some local products. This spot is perfect to have a snack or some light bites but not a formal sit-down meal. Definitely check it out! 🎵

Worst waiter I have ever had! We thought he was doing an impression of a bad waiter because he was so terrible. Rude, curt and inattentive. Gave our order, only received part of it, asked him again and still never brought us our food. Other table had the same issue. The part of the order that we did receive was decent but the service was laughable. They need to get rid of this guy.

Excellent fado show in an intimate setting. Crowd participation is encouraged. We had a great time. Come early. Venue is tiny with limited seating.

Tourist trap. Friendly service tho. Oh the 'tonight Fado live' is part of the tourist trap.

Our worst food experience in Portugal. The mixed table is actually a mix of cheese and dried meat directly from a low cost supermarket while the sliced bread is not even toasted...without mentionning we had to wait 30min to be served. However, the server was nice.

Really nice place, with great Fado performers. Kind staff. Be carefull though when making a reservation for Fado evening, the tables are quite small, tiny chairs, it can get really hot, really fast. The doors close, so you dont get to hear much from the outside. Probably due to our inexperience we didn't know where we would be placed, or how the arrangement works. Everything else was 5 stars though, so i review it accordingly.

We came here already for the 2nd time and it was lovely again. Aways will come back when in Coimbra. Love your singers, love your attitude. Marvelous!

This restaurant is amazing! The food was excellent! The service was top notch! Highly recommend stopping here for sangria & a light lunch! Sandwiches & bruschetta were sooo good!

We were only in Coimbra for one day and had the chance to attend a fado performance at "Quebra o Galho" by chance. Although this place is listed as a fado bar on google, there isn't a fado performance there every day. The evening itself was simply perfect. The fado group had a remarkable performance. The "Quebra o Galho" itself offers a selection of delicious Portuguese wines and Portuguese snacks. The price-performance ratio here is perfect. The bar team itself was friendly and very attentive.

A wonderful place to watch Coimbra walk by. Don’t miss the Fado evenings with Inès Graçia, it feels like a private concert.
