This place is horrible. This place is not only mice infested, bed bug infested, but roaches as well. I told them about mice in the room and instead of a refund they gave me mice traps to catch them myself. I have pictures. I was then moved to a room with roaches. Then a room with bed bugs. I was racially profiled amongs other bad things. Like getting locked in my room by one of there faulty doors. It was a definite fire hazard and i waited for an hour or more with my son to be let out. Still no refund or prorated cost for my room. And in addition to this when i demanded my money back..they called the police on me and i was locked up for trespassing. The owners kept my $250.

There is no wifi even though Expedia says there is wifi in every room. It is in a nasty neighborhood, and I'm pretty sure the has station next door is a front for drugs. Went in looking for coke zero and the lady said they don't have that, but she "Is tired and needs some coke 100 if you know what I mean." Do not recommend. Room is dirty and ran down, no fridge, bathroom is dirty, hairs on the sheets. Can we get a negative stars option?

Absolutely hands down,the worst of worst hotel/motel!!! First off daughter and family traveled 20+ hours to pick up a small child,after arriving and driving 10 more they decided to stay at the place they originally had booked!!! So 30+ hours of driving ready to rest with a small child,they arrive,these images are misleading, there was not one individual walking around with shoes( not that this is relevant) VERY “HOOD LIKE” the receptionist did not speak English,( again not relevant we love all) told my daughter after she had reserved they could not stay because she wasn’t 21,she suggested call and change to her BF name,so they did so,they approach this woman through glass again,and she again refuses after they did what she directed!! Said they could not pay with her card because she didn’t was not 21,(MIND U THESE KIDS ARE ON SAME ACCOUNT) NOW REMEMBER THIS ROOM HAD ALREADY PREVIOUSLY BEEN RESERVED BY THE SAME DAUGHTER,same age,same identification... after reading all reviews it certainly was a blessing in disguise,THEY WENT TO GET A CHILD NOT BEDBUGS!!!

This was the most nasty, disgusting place I have EVER seen. Take heed at the sign on the lobby window that says "no room changes or refunds after 10 minutes". Filthy, bug & hair infested beds & towels. They refused my refund request (that was a complete goat rope as well, but at this point, I'll consider the money spent as "disease avoidance". The 1 star is because I can't post this without giving the place a star.

Not clean and they steal from you and don't have Cameras that work, no housekeeper rooms or nasty I don't even know why they still open.

Nothing in the room except a bed. No towels no lamps not even a phone. What happened to this place it was nice when Oyo first took over now it is a mess!!!

Pros: affordable, parking, hot water/pressure/ not dirty Cons: the room reeked of cigaret smoke and just wouldn't go away. I asked to change my room due to the odor and they refused due to their rule of 10 minutes. Basically because I asked them in 20 minutes they didn't want to try. If you're in customer service industry, at least try to make your customer happy. I didn't pay you $57 that was worth $50, so why do you want me to accept that sub standard room?? They were not at their desk at 11am when I wanted to check out, so I had to throw the card under their bulletproof window's opening! Maybe you get lucky or a somker, otherwise I'd avoid this place. *** I picked up my long sleeve cotton shirt from the trunk of my car and in reeked of cigarette smoke two nights later in Richmond Virginia!! That just goes to show how bad it was!

I rate this hotel a 0. 1 X is too good for them. I did not stay at this hotel. I checked in paid for 2 nights. They refunded me one night fee back. The manager had an attitude. The hotel was very nasty, with dead bed bugs inside the curtains, dead lava bug insid the bed when l turned the covers back,live spiders and spider webs throughout the room. One large spider on the wall on wall. Dead bugs and trash on the floors. The linen and towels etc were very dingy. These conditions were dwplorible. Expedia recommended this hotel becuse it was in near the funeral home. I highly blame Expedia for this problem. They should screen these hotels. Other people has posted that they have seen rats.

I Liked It and enjoyed my Stay when I was there around the Holidays and I asked for A good room and they willingly delivered. My room was clean and fresh Bed was great , Staff/owners was nice . Know Drama with Surroundings . *I would like to think Hazelwood Budget Inn is still the same and will visit there again for SURE👍

Horrible service. Nasty rooms. They steal peoples money after they pay & look at rooms and decide they don't want them. They careless a bout this place, I believe near to be shut down!!

Some of the staff is nice… I tryed to get house keeping to bring clean sheets and towels, Never happend…. Room was not very clean either walls were very dirty.

Penthouse suite was fabulous. Fantastic customer service, felt right at home. Room service was cheap and food delicious. Employees were all extremely helpful meeting my needs. Very sanitary, showers worked great, pool was very large and nice. Made friends with all of the staff and other inmates. Me and my two girlfriends were able to make as much noise as we wanted with no interruptions. You really get more than you pay for. Overall, had a great experience over my 69 days stayed here.

The room 239 they put us in the light fixtures we're hanging off the wall exsposing wires, no smoke detector, the bathroom light didn't work. I asked them for days to fix it. Because I fell and still didn't. Ex mantanice guy bought one and instales it. When I said I fell they made me leave the next day.

This hotel need's to be shut down. It is drug infested. There's thieves it is a horrible hotel. Police are there every few day's
