We ate here this evening and were spoilt for choice (which means we will have to come back and try the other options). We decided on the ribs and a rib eye steak which were both delicious. The service was wonderful. What a treat to have a place like this on our doorstep. Well done to the new management, we wish you every success.

During our vacation, we went here for a pub lunch because my friends said that’s one thing you have to do when in England. 😃 And I was not disappointed at all. On the contrary: the food was delicious, and their menu has some nice things to choose from. The atmosphere is really cozy and warm. On another note: the outdoor play area for kids is a big plus!

Great food, great surroundings. Nothing too much trouble (even getting me garlic butter for my steak which was not on the menu). Impressive wine list for such a pub and good selection of draught products. Highly recommended!

This was the first time I had used The White Hart. Its not a pub I would frequent because of the distance from home but I had taken my car for service and had to wait for over 2 hours. It was a lovely day and I ordered a coffee and sat outside. The pub was very nice inside and the staff accommodating. The coffee was nice too. I would have had lunch had it been lunch time.

Wonderful room. Lovely big bed with white cotton sheets. Everything was spotless, really beautiful. Felt like we were the first people to use the room. Food was great and lovely atmosphere. Staff polite and friendly. Can't recommend more highly.

Great pub and over night stay. Lovely decor, really comfy bed. Staff all were friendly. Breakfast was lovely and the coffee was delicious.. really recommend

We visited for some food and drinks whilst visiting friends and were very happy with the service. The staff here were friendly and service was prompt. The food was great quality for the price and the drinks were a tad expensive but as a northern bloke being down south it was expected. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

Omg,just had a blowout meal at the White Hart, and wow,what can I say? If you like really good food and portions that Goliath would struggle with them this is the place. Well cooked, excellent flavour, really good portions ( go hungry) and a really pleasant menu with really helpful staff. Great drinks selection. Thank you to All of the staff and the owner. We have just spent a lovely weekend at the White Hart and cannot recommend enough! The room was well equipped, cosy and super clean. We enjoyed dinner, breakfast and lunch during our stay and every meal was delicious. They have a vast beer garden with a little kids play area so very family friendly, our little boy loved it. Thanks for a great weekend, we’ll be back!

Celebrated a lovely birthday over the weekend and the owners were very pleasant to work with, and the food was lovely! We pre-ordered and sent the orders in advance & the servers knew who to give each dish to once they came out to the table which was nice. The selection of food options was also great - from creamy mushrooms on toast, salmon mousse, fowl pate to start, to burger, steak, fish, turkey schnitzel as mains, to chocolate fondant, apple crumble and ice cream for dessert. Great vibe inside and good service too! Would definitely come back!

Went there for the first time and it was such a nice experience. We didn't know we had to book a table, but this was not a problem as the staff solved that quickly and arranged a perfect table for us. It didn't take long for us to be served and the food was really good. The place has this cozy feeling that just makes you feel welcome. I really liked it and totally worth the price.

Another fantastic meal. Second time visiting here. Food doesn't disappoint, great steaks and the service top quality. Very professional establishment. One of the best pubs I've visited in a very long time. Will visit again and we drive over an hour to get here. Says it all really.

Visited with friends on Sunday and the food was outstanding, the best roast I’ve eaten out in a very long time, possibly ever! I had the roast beef followed by the waffle for dessert which was incredible! Despite it being a Sunday; service was efficient and you got a sense that the staff were all working well as a team. When I emailed at the beginning of the week to amend my booking, they responded quickly and were very polite. Would definitely revisit when I’m next in the area and highly recommend to all of the locals! Fantastic pub :)

My daughter and new son-in-law had their wedding reception here and I thought the whole day was fantastic. The food was amazing, all members of staff went over and above to give them their day and I couldn't fault any of it. Their hotel rooms were lovely and I would recommend all aspects of this establishment and the staff. Thank you so much.

We stayed over for 1 night in a room. The room was very clean, bed was extremely comfy. Staff were very king and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning which was included in the price was delicious. Highly recommend to anyone

Stayed over night and had the full English in the morning. Staff were amazing, happy to accommodate us with our baby and the odd requests we made. Rooms were very clean and managed to fit us, to cot for our baby and all our luggage comfortably. Breakfast cooked to order and very nice. If in the area, we would stay again

Attended my Son's wedding here. Food was superb and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms are lovely, clean modern and everything you need. Couldn't have been any better. Thank you everyone for a fabulous day and evening. Will definately return.

A family friendly, welcoming atmosphere with great local ales and a fantastic varied menu. Highly recommend the Sunday lunch of boerewors followed by roast beef with giant yorkshires! Many thanks to the White Hart team.

Used to live in Holybourne & go to this pub alot about 25 years ago. Food was good then. We went here for my birthday & the new owners are doing a fab job. The food was lovely & definitely will be returning.

Really cool place! Rooms are on the small side, but cozy. People are super helpful, food is delicious. If you ever around stay here, or at least drop by for a pint of beer (or relatively good selection of wines) and meal.

I had a very tasty pint and the Korean Style Spicy Chicken Burger and Chips. Yummy! I liked the place so much I went back twice more. I highly recommend the grilled pork chop!

Went here for a drink and dinner, really good service and an aesthetically beautiful place. The pub garden is massive and would be lovely in the summer. Only rated it 4 stars as my coffee was slightly luke warm, and the outdoor area for kids was tiny in comparison to the garden.

My husband and I really like this Hotel. The owners couldn’t be more helpful. We had a lovely welcome and we felt very much at home. A really friendly place to stay.

We were here in June as a family. I had relatives staying from Australia, so there was a big table of 14. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the pub was full. We had a lovely visit making happy memories. Special mention to Jane and Benjamin for their wonderful service. First class. 😃👍🏻

Fabulous in every way. This is the genuine article when it comes to what a stay in an English country pub should be. The staff are amazing, the room comfy, the beer is great and everyone is so very very friendly. I’m taking my family back to experience what a real hotel with personality looks like. Loved it.

Lovely meal with a friend. Great bits were the food and the service. Food took a while but very busy but staff were so nice and welcoming I would go back just for them. Top tip: at busy times difficult to park so be prepared to park on the road.

We stayed at the White Hart before a family wedding, and it was such a lovely stay. We were greeted by such friendly staff who showed us to our room and answered any questions we had. The room was so clean and felt very homely. Bathroom/Shower was super clean and they also had really good tea/coffee facilities. The beds were super comfy, and it was lovely and quiet. We had a really great evening meal and breakfast the next morning too. Thanks again for great hospitality!

Fantastic friendly staff and very helpful. Rooms was clean and warm. Food was delicious and well cooked. We would recommend this and look forward to staying there again. Very dog friendly too.

Went here for work and the team here couldn't have been more helpful. Bar staff were lovely, restaurant was great and the chef is very good! Rooms were so clean and comfy and the breakfast the following day was a delight. Wouldn't hesitate to come again!

Lovely place to eat. Staff friendly. Shame only one vegetarian dish.... But this could be served as vegan also... Just a shame when halloumi can be served so many ways... Or even a vegetarian curry. This place is clean and well laid out

Lovely pub, had a fantastic meal in Nice surroundings. The owner pitched in with the staff, he was polite, courteous and very friendly. I felt very welcome.

Lovely village pub, has a large beer garden ample parking in the car park as well as road side parking. Menu good but limited as only thing I would've eaten was fish and chips, which was very nice and perfect size, plenty of puddings on offer and a generous cheese board. Nice relaxed atmosphere no hassling fantastic Irish coffees. All in all a great time was had by all, and would recommend

A truly amazing experience always guaranteed at The White Hart. Food, drink and service is always without fault. Sunday roasts are out of this world. Butchers Price Monday is superb value without compromising quality. Nothing is ever too much. Well worth a visit, & I promise you will want to return again & again.

A beautiful pub with great food, a beer garden, a play area for kids around the back, and they're also dog friendly. 4 stars because we waited quite long for our food but everything else was perfect. I came here for a midweek lunch with a small group of people.

My partner and I stopped off at this pub today to watch some of the World Cup. It was such a lovely pub, with very welcoming and attentive staff, I had food off of the ‘butchers monday’ menu and the pricing and quality of the food was great!! All round a great little pub! :)

What a gem of a place! My parents took me here for lunch. The lady owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming, the service is second to none and the food was absolutely scrumptious! We all ordered something different, fish and chunky chips, beef and mushroom pie with creamed potatoes and vegetables, seabass and long stemmed broccoli. Every dish was superb. I would highly recommend this lovely pub which also has a large garden outside. I'll definitely be back 😊.
