Always great food and service! Having Fox News on the TV though isn't very appetizing, but other than that, it's a great experience!

Talk about great experience, great food and fantastic ownership. I can’t say enough about this place. If your driving through and visit eau claire you need to make sure you skip the big chains and give this family breakfast a try!

We are not from here so the 4.7 stars is real! (We’ve seen so many small places that have high ratings but seems like it’s a lot of local friends or family give high ratings when the food isn’t that great.) This place is good!!!!!!! I had breakfast, he had lunch, they were both delicious!!!!! Will return if we’re in town again!!! :)

Was in town for the morning and stopped in here for breakfast! The food was delicious, the portions were huge, the prices were honestly fantastic, the atmosphere was laid back, and the service was top notch! Not sure why I have never been here before but if you’re in town, certainly make a stop to grab some of the best breakfast in Eau Claire! We had the meat lovers omelette, ham and cheese omelette, and the 2 eggs breakfast! All were delicious. The hashbrowns are amazing and worth the hype!

The prices where very good. The food was great. The staff was very friendly. The owners are a hoot! And if you are fortunate enough to meet the mini owners hold on to your hat, they are the best!!

Traveling from Minnesota to Chicago. Decided to get off the highway and try some local restaurants. So happy we did. The fried chicken was excellent and the dill pickle soup was out of this world. Cheese curds also excellent. Service was great and friendly. Only 10 mintute drive from I 94. If I were you I would take the time to try it!!!

This place is amazing!!! They're food is very cheap for a good amount. I love the older ladies there, they are so sweet and if you go there often enough they'll recognize you and treat you as people the love. Very good home cooked food. But they're scrambled eggs are out of a bottle or whatever, I personally like that🤣 I call them hotel eggs

The food is awesome. Portion sizes are large; you definitely won’t leave hungry! Service has been great every time, food is a great value, and it’s a very comfortable, inviting atmosphere. This is our go-to breakfast spot whenever we are in Eau Claire. The steak and eggs is my favorite. Stop in! You’ll be happy you did!

Amazing little diner! A must experience if you visit Eau Claire. Breakfasts all day, unique offerings, great soups, cozy atmosphere. Also you can get half sized portions of many meals.

Best breakfast I've had in a long time! Definitely recommend. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Really quick service even though the whole place was full.

We are New to the area and thought we would check out this place, our kids where growing restless as we just got out of the DMV, they split the apple juice all over the place, the kind waitress brought us some more napkins and some more apple juice. Even brought us some toy cars to keep the kiddos occupied. Great service!

Great little restaurant. Great food with large portions. It is no wonder they are rated 4.7.

This place is truly a gem. It is a great hometown mom and pop diner. We had breakfast and the food was great dinner food. Traditional breakfast is definitely their strong suit. My husband is the adventurous eater and order the Mexican omelet at a midwestern diner...word to the wise - don't. If you stick with traditional breakfast foods this place is great. The service is great and the ambiance is even better. We definitely recommend this restaurant!

A lovely little neighborhood gem... Fantastic service, Bacon was EXCELLENT..fries are HOT,crisp, & not salted. Has booth seating, very tight if you're a larger person. On street parking, and not much of it. Watch your step on the way out!!! Will go here again!

We visited for Veteran’s Day and had a fantastic breakfast! They have EGGS BENEDICT! Only the second place in town I’ve found them (next to weekend at Informalist). Sure the eggs are soft fried, but were delish at any rate. This is a local haunt with lovely old people and familiar flavor. The staff were friendly and kind. FOX news was on the TV, but the good food helped wash down the bile in my gut;) Good food found here. Definitely recommend!

Quiet little place. Love the ma and pa feel of the restaurant. Food was fantastic and probably the cheapest breakfast in town. ;) We tend to go regularly to eat here.

I wish I took pictures!! Yummy!!! I forget they serve lunch on the flip side of their menu. The nostalgia of an old diner with portion sizes to feed the whole family. I love this place I never leave unhappy! Plus side seating is easy with my service dog!!

Needed food on a Saturday morning. This is a amazing place! So many other places were closed, not Chick-a-dee's! Great small town, community atmosphere. Welcoming people and awesome food. Reasonable prices and great food. Would have taken a pictures but couldn't resist devouring it. If you are in Eau Claire find Chick-a-dee's.

Excellent experience today! Total hole-in-the-wall vibe in the best way! Stopped in looking at the reviews online after a morning of blueberry picking. Please save yourself the trouble of agonizing what to eat and get the biscuits and gravy! Totally legit! Reminds me of our family breakfasts at our northern WI family cabin that is no longer in the family. The owners are awesome, and clearly they have an established regular following…and for good reason!

Second time eating here and it did not disappoint. Next time in the area will stop again. The atmosphere is that of a typical family run cafe, not fancy but nice. Booths are comfortable and establishment is clean. Service was great, drinks refills without being ask and just enough attention not to become annoying. The best part is the food preparation which was perfect. Menu is basic breakfast and lunch. Great comfort food. Place appeared to have many regulars which is a great sign. Love this establishment!

I love the food and location of this place. The only thing is it's so small even the booths are small if your a big person or have a belly it's really uncomfortable to dine in. They might need to lose a booth to be able to spread the others out a little so everyone can sit and be able to move and breathe. Otherwise I love this place.

A perfect Mom and Pop diner, the best in Eau Claire in my opinion! This is my go-to breakfast joint. Amazing portion for what you pay for, cannot recommend this enough!

Great little “hole in the wall” to grab breakfast. Service was great and portion sizes were good too. Only small issue was the coffee was a little watered down.

It's quaint. It's packed on weekends. And you're gonna leave with a full tummy. Great Homestyle cooked American food that has tasted great for many years of my family coming here. Parking is a little adventurous. May have a small wait before being seated. Get some good hot coffee or a cold pop to go with your meal!
