Excellent garden centre selling an extensive range of quality plants & products for the garden & home. Everything is well laid out, the staff & owner and friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and there is a large cafe for quality refreshments with toilet facilities. The car park has more than ample parking spaces and the displays & features at Christmas are always amazing to see. Visits recommended!

The garden centre is absolutely amazing! There is a large selection of outdoor plants and trees as well as pots and garden ornaments. There are plenty of tools, garden furniture and things to help wildlife in your garden. There is a fabulous farm shop section with deli and butchers with a large selection of food for great gifts. The restaurant has been recently refurbished boasting a lovely conservatory. The food is amazing having been for breakfast, lunch and coffee and cake. The service is great and everyone is always willing to help.

Used to be a beautiful garden centre with a good cafe. They had stopped serving food at 3pm (lunch time) which was disappointing. Service was fine but the tables were dirty, just with a napkin and cutlery put out, clearly hadn't been wiped and the floor was dirty, nobody had sweeped. Very disappointing for somewhere we used to come frequently for a lunch

Went for a drink and cake today, was shown to a table and before we even sat down we were asked what we wanted without looking at the menu. Our order arrived and the milk was sour. I told the waitress and she took it away with no apology and it was replaced with still no apology. The customer service was not acceptable and I will not be returning.

The garden centre was ready for Christmas and it was nice to look round the decorations, it was great for young and old alike. We had lunch sat in the conservatory, food was great, service and staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of indoor and outdoor plants, gardening equipment along with sections dedicated to clothing and food. We’ll worth a visit.

Cafe/Restaurant: We came today for the first time for lunch and I'm so happy we did. We saw an advert in the local Bury magazine. We've never heard of it before but it's so close and we will be returning multiple times. Busy. Served quick and got a seat. Great service from our waiter and everyone throughout. It was really quick [we read some negative reviews but so glad we ignored them as for us, that wasn't our experience]. I ordered the Budha Bowl with Chargrilled Chicken and my Wife ordered the Flatbread also with the Chargrilled Chicken. Mine was delicious, full of flavour and so fresh. We then ordered two of the special Strawberry Tarts. Oh my goodness. These were unbelievable. Best ever. Worth the calories for sure and such a treat. What a lovely day, place.

It is local to home and a pleasant walk to reach the centre which has grown over the years. Lots of plants and gardening equipment too.! The Xmas display is always fun but we usually go for lunch (served quickly on a good day ) and we love the new butcher department. There’s cake, bread, dairy products and a whole range of food so though it’s not particularly cheap to buy some items we enjoy supporting it.

Lovely food, homemade, and is worth the price! Lovely staff and gorgeous centre with affordable and homegrown/homemade and organic food.

The garden centre and staff are very good. The cafe is terrible. I have been in twice now and both times the service was appalling. I was shown to my table and waited 30 minutes asked 2 different people if I could give them my order with no response. In the end after speaking to people on a nearby table who had experienced the same thing I left with my friends. Definitely off my list of places to eat now.

The staff in the garden centre are very nice and helpful but the service in the cafe was dreadful. We found a table and were basically ignored for 15 minutes so I asked a young lady (who kept walking past our table seemingly ignoring us!) if we could please order explaining that we only wanted two coffees. She said she’d get someone. Ten minutes later, I asked her again as she was walking round doing nothing! After thirty minutes I went up to the lovely girl making the coffees and she came over and sorted us out. Lots of much better coffee shops around the area. Would never come back here. It was a very quiet time in the afternoon and we were basically ignored by a couple of staff who knew we were waiting a long time. Looking at the other reviews, it seems that other people also found the service in the cafe to be very poor.

We're regulars having lunch in the conservatory and always delicious & staff excellent. We had an amazing mother's day afternoon tea and couldn't wait to have that again, so next week for my daughters birthday we'll be all having a superb vegetarian afternoon tea to celebrate. Summerseat is always our first favourite choice.

I like this garden centre. It has a well laid out tarmac car park. The garden centre is much bigger than it looks from the outside. It had a big area for outdoor plants and flowers, as well as ornaments and plant pots. It also has a range of tools and soils/addatives. It is well laid out and easy to navigate around. Inside is even more interesting (or was for me anyway!). It has little sections including house plants (not as much selection as the outdoor plants but it is better than some I've been to), a farm shop with baked goods and beer, kids toys and puzzles and candles/ornaments. Some bits seemed expensive while other bits were reasonable. I've already decided this is where I will go to make Christmas hampers for friends and family. Charming place with a lot inside. Staff were nice too.

What a gorgeous garden centre. Amazing range of plants, gardening products, homeware and gifts. The restaurant is well worth a visit too. Service was quick and the staff were polite, attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, well priced and great size portions. High recommend. What a pleasant place to visit; do not hesitate to go!

Went at lunchtime on a Thursday. Restaurant full. Best ladies loos for miles around. Plenty of healthy plant stock - well laid out and cared for. A surprise was a Butchery counter - looked top notch. Helpful, cheerful, staff. Very enjoyable to look round but prices are top end and currently out of my range except for very special gifts or treats.

Visited today and had lunch. Beautiful surroundings, great service and plentiful wholesome tasty food. Fabulous selection of cakes that we couldn't resist taking one home each. Great garden centre with lots to look at and a great place to get an unusual gift, with cards, candles, ceramic, jewellery and much more. A very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.
