Great little plant based Italian cafe bar. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The staff were warm, helpful and friendly, the decor was stylish and inviting. We will definitely be back in the evening to try the pizzas!

Such tasty food. I am not vegan myself but I would not have known I was eating vegan food. Authentic Italian food with such a warm welcome and lovely atmosphere. I will definitely be returning when back in the area.

Just WOW. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had, ever. The dough was amazing, really stretchy but also crispy, honestly just amazing. A lovely menu selection, all vegan. It's so nice to have so much choice. The staff were so friendly and service was brilliant. Can't wait to go again!

After wanting to visit since hearing about this place, we finally got the pleasure of experiencing it and we're overjoyed! The staff were so lovely & polite, the atmosphere was warm & wonderful & the food was absolutely delicious. We had pizza, lasagne & parmigiana and not only was it delivered quickly but it tasted incredible. Will definitely be visiting again, thank you!

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening, I usually like my meat on pizza’s however I was overwhelmed with the fact that plant based food can taste & have the same texture to meat, me & my wife had a excellent experience and we were truly welcomed to this excellent restaurant. 5 stars all the way and I truly recommend this place. This place is an absolute gem, I loved it! Utterly delicious food, lovely friendly relaxed vibe. Really attentive team. Everything I had was sublime. I'll be going back to sample the whole menu because, of course, everyone else's food looked gorgeous, too. The deli is a lovely touch to buy authentic ingredients, so of course, that needs further investigation! On a whole, my new favourite vegan/plant-based eatery in Manchester. See you again soon!

Delicious! For vegans and non vegans. We enjoyed our valentine's here and were blown away. The food, drinks and service were exceptional. We can't wait to come back and hope they make the meatballs a permanent feature on their menu as they were incredible! At home tonight we have also enjoyed some more delicious food after buying pasta and sauce from Ortica! Delicious 😋

We definitely recommend this family run restaurant. It has a very good atmosphere, beautifully decorated and the owners are super friendly. Food is amazing, especially the melanzane parmigiana and tiramisu. A very interesting variety of Negronis tops everything off.

Been meaning to come here since it opened and finally got the chance a few days ago. It didn't disappoint. Everything was exceptional, from the service to the food, which was incredibly delicious and portion sizes were more than generous. We've wanted to try Ortica for a while now, and finally visited tonight. It's a nice little place which operates as a bar, deli, and restaurant, and everything is plant based. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the menu has a good range of dishes (a few more options and some smaller plates would be welcome though). We both opted for pizzas and they were delicious, and very light. We shared a tiramisu for dessert which was also very enjoyable, as was the wine. A busy place, so booking is recommended. We'll definitely be returning to Ortica.

Lovely little vegan place. Gnocchi pasta was lovely parmesan cheese too. Usually cheese can be hit and miss this was great.

I visited Ortica back in March for my GF’s birthday celebration. Ortica went above and beyond my expectations to ensure she had a memorable night. From the moment we stepped in to the restaurant we felt like we felt the warmness of the staff and the restaurant itself. Being a smaller environment was awesome as it felt nice and cosy. Approaching the table I had organised flowers to be arranged and Ortica again went above and beyond displaying them beautifully on a reserved table with a glass of champagne/Prosecco as a little treat. Food was delicious and the tiramisu is exceptional. I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone and you’ll catch us back in there for many years to come. Thank you.

Great vegan pizza. Everything is made on site and the staff are very knowledgeable and passionate about the food. The bases are superb, done in Roman style as opposed to Neapolitan. This is a much lighter base and it's really very nice. The vegan cheese is very close to mozzarella, and is the chef's own recipe. Every credit to what the proprietor has achieved, this is a unique dining experience.

Such amazing food, I am so impressed! Loved the dips with the bread, olives were lovely and fresh tasting, the parmigiana was incredible, and loved the tiramisu! I'll definitely be back :)

The food and service were fantastic. Such a friendly feel. The parmigiana was so tasty, would highly recommend and the amaretto mulled wine was so great and felt so christmasy. Excited to try the panettone I bought.
