Lovely hotel, spacious and clean rooms with what you would expect. Breakfast was good but would have preferred more choice. Booked through Booking .com which states its only 1.8 miles from Airport, but its actually about 4.5 in a taxi to get there which I have to say are in my view are very expensive £17 to get there £18 to airport following day was originally quoted £28 by the station taxis as it was evening. But I would stay there again as the Airport hotels have all shot up in price, so even with the taxis prices and the cost of the hotel it was still cheaper than the Airport

Rolled up quite late, parked the car right outside and straight in. The room wasn't huge but had everything you'd need, and was clean. Lovely comfortable bed, nice shower and a tasty breakfast. Bit difficult to find and no bar/pub/shop nearby, but that aside lovely and good value. Airport was less than 20 mins away the next morning too.

We stayed here whilst visiting family in Manchester. The location is very close to the airport but we didn't hear airport noise and it feels rural. The communucations/directions from the owners were excellent. The room (a Deluxe King) was a good size with a comfortable bed, bathrobes and thick towels. The tea and coffee (Nespresso ) were well stocked. The shower had good pressure and the water was hot. Breakfast was excellent taken in the farmhouse conservatory, we had full English but there were vegetarian /vegan and gluten free options, all freshly cooked. The price was very good and cheaper than an airport hotel alternative, we fully intend to stay again soon.

Had my Christmas works party here last Friday, it was fantastic. I would highly recommend it, and the rooms are fantastic.

A lovely location to stay. Breakfast was great and the service was awesome. Great room size with plenty of spare. We had room 12.

We had a deluxe king room in Room 2, thr Annex. It was small and the bathroom was tiny. The little electric kettle and teabags etc was in a very cramped position. There was absolutely no interaction with anyone, except for the very helpful chef. It was disappointing as being advertised as a farm house guest house we had expected a personal touch. Nothing. The breakfast was very good and the beds were comfortable. It was very difficult getting our heavy suitcases up the steep steps to the room. Also, the taxi fares were expensive, but reliable. Google maps shows there is a bus stop nearby. There isn't. We would not stay here again.

Lovely place to stay before a flight from Manchester Airport. Pleasant little place, comfy room with a big TV with sky, coffee machine, WiFi and air conditioning. Lovely hot shower. Only downside was the mould in the shower area (room 1) - this should be sorted immediately as it doesn't look great. Other than that a lovely stay and I'd use again happily. Taxi into Wilmslow for dinner was around £7 so very reasonable.

This B&B regularly gets the maximum five star reviews and having stayed there I can honestly say it justifies the rating. Everything about the place is superb. Communication with the hosts is first rate and I was given directions to the property and the push button access code to room number 7 the day before. The room was of a reasonable size, freshly decorated, clean and comfortable. The bathroom / shower was upstairs and looked brand new. I got a good night's sleep and a delicious Full English breakfast. Highly recommended.

Real quality feel to the room, spotlessly clean and nice and quiet. Tasty breakfast with lovely friendly service. Would definitely stay again and recommend this place.

The room we stayed in was quite spacious except for the bathroom which is very small. Overall the room is functional and we felt comfortable. Sadly, maintenance appears to have been neglected. Many scuff marks and dents in the walls. Cobwebs and crane spiders all over the place. Pillows feel way past their best by date. The breakfast service was prompt and the English brekky was tasty. This was the highlight. Above all, location sucks if you are not driving your own car. Taxi from airport has a 25GBP minimum fee for 4mile drive, and uber cost 15GBP. We had to wait 20 mins for an uber from the hotel back to the airport. For what we paid and time we waited, may as well have stayed at the Hilton double tree close to the airport.

Huge room for up to 5 people. 2 double beds in main room plus another single upstairs. Free parking and breakfast included. Stairs were quite steep so wouldn't suit disabled. No sink downstairs to fill kettle. Convenient for picking someone up from airport.

Excellent host. Breakfast good. In double room we booked no wardrobe space. But other rooms we booked for family were fine. Would recommend and probably stay again in future.

The best Hotel near Manchester Airport, it's a real hidden gem. I've stayed there multiple times and the staff go above and beyond each and every time. Highly recommend.

Room 5. It's ground level, right end of a small terrace. Damp patch on wall to right as you go in This review really needs 2 reviews, I have a very different view of this place compared to my wife. Room: Me. Cramped. No where to unpack, absolute minimum hanging space. There was a rug, 90% of it was under the bed. The floor was tiled and cold Wife. Adequate Heating: Me. Bazaar, noisy, uncontrollable, temperamental, very slow to react. Wife. OK. Bathroom: Me. Tiny. Shower was scolding hot until after much struggling and almost breaking the tap off the plumbing, got it to behave, grouting dirty. The sink was a joke, too high to use comfortably, too small even to wash your hands. Wife. It was sufficient. Bed: No comment. Never slept in any bed other than my own that was in the slightest bit comfortable. Even so, that tired we did sleep. Sophisticated offee machine in room, no instructions, no indication what the pods were, 1 pod in the box, hidden away, was opened. You can hear people walking about up stairs. You can hear people going up and down the steps outside. Breakfast, full English: Me. Nothing special. Had similar or better in a transport cafe. The ambience was good. Wife: Very good. Evening meal, none here. Nearest a 15 minute walk, it had a power failure when we got there, no food available. Walked back, ordered a takeaway. Plenty of choice if you have transport. Service: Other than restaurant staff taking your order there was no service. Overall, too expensive for what it was. Would I go back? No

4 star but only as I'm 6 foot 4 and the beams were quite low so having to stoop to move around. Wouldn't put me off staying again though. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Great breakfast and very helpful / professional chef. Great location for airport also..

Great little find near the airport, quirky rooms with nice touches like coffee machine and bathrobe. The breakfast was modest(i.e. no continental bits, just the cooked stuff), but very tasty - the best bacon that's ever been cooked for me! Would definitely recommend
