Love coming here!!! Such a lovely, relaxing place to dine . I often come her for Sunday roast, lunch and evenings. All the staff are lovely but I really do have to give a big 👏🏾👏🏾to Alex, she will make sure you are served with a smile and also make sure your dining experience is comfortable. She really is an asset to this restaurant. Thank you to Jenny to for always making us feel welcome. Food is always served hot, well presented but most of all very nice. Sunday roast is the best! Thank you all and see you soon!!

Went for a brunch with the girls and we had the chicken and ham pie with a yummy raspberry mocktail. We were the only ones in the restaurant but probably would have been busier if weather was nice! Nice decorated place too. Staff are friendly and helpful. Their summer menu had a lot of vegetarian dishes not a lot of standard choices like a beef burger or pasta or salad. Food was really nice though.

Visited the pub today with friends and our babies. The staff couldn't do enough for us. In particular the lady who also works at Vamos. She was absolutely wonderful and went the extra mile for us. I'll definitely visit again for the service alone. Thank you for making us so welcome.

Lovely place with very friendly and helpful staff when we arrived. Quick service and great menu. Food was well cooked. Atmosphere was just right for lunch, not too loud and good background music. We ordered one buttermilk chicken which my friend said was delicious. It came with pickled slaw and fries. I had tofu with satay cauliflower. This dish was delicious but not quite enough for lunch. It was between starter and lunch size so I feel it could do with being 25% bigger or something else on the plate. Despite that it was thoroughly delicious.

Disappointing Roast for Sunday lunch. For £18 you would expect high quality. The roast potatoes were hard and dry, seemed as though they had been heated up from days ago. Veg basic and underwhelming and the cauliflower in the cauliflower cheese was hard and undercooked. Not enough gravy.

My husband booked a table for New Year’s Day to enjoy a family meal with our daughter. The service and presentation was excellent and attention to detail was exceptional with delicious food. The staff were very friendly and welcoming which was lovely.

I'm working away and staying near the Saddle & Spoke, the first night I tried this place it was amazing so haven't been away where else. Why would I need to, the food is fantastic!! Top marks to the chef!! Staff are very friendly and the food is reasonably priced for the high standard you get. I tried the winter menu and the the new spring menu and each to say was awesome. So would highly recommend!!! One happy customer! 😊

We had a meal there last night and right from arrival we were looked after and the food was utterly beautiful, even my husband who never enthralled about anything said it was fantastic meal ! Quality is high end gastro London standard - we are so fortunate to have this gem on our doorstep! We will be back to try the new Autumn menu very soon ! 👍🙏😍

Met a friend for brunch today we had the full breakfast and vegan breakfast.. service was very attentive… good amount of food and quality was good.. was surprised they didn’t have an alternative to milk … not a negative .. just surprising.. interior very striking, chic and I’d definitely go back…

Went to Saddle Spoke to treat my husband for father's day. Food was very tasty but service wad awful . A male waiter with long hair could not be bothered at all with any kind of decent customer service . Looked like he didn't want to be there and serve anyone . I have to say on the other hand the very young girl delivering the food from the kitchen was the star of the restaurant . She seemed like she used her common sence a lot and her smile too.

Love it here!! Food is excellent! Be sure to try the lamb souvlaki. Very attentive service by Alex. It was very quiet when we visited for lunch which is why I’ve marked it lower for atmosphere. However will most definitely be back.

Went for a week day lunch, only one other table occupied, so zero atmosphere. Despite that we were shown to a tiny table in a dark corner, although they were happy to let us move to a nicer spot when we asked. I had the salmon starter, OK but nothing special, and the camembert cauliflower cheese, which had a couple of small slices of camembert floating in a deeply unimpressive, and very watery, "sauce" . To be frank, the stuff you buy frozen in the supermarket is better. Certainly not the "best food for miles around" as per their claims. My companion had pie and mash, which she enjoyed, so perhaps the cauliflower cheese was just a bad choice, hopefully they'll alter the recipe.

Had a lovely lunch today. Service was swift, attentive and very friendly from both Alex & Jenny. Dining room was spacious and warmly and tastefully decorated. Choice was plenty and the quality of both the ingredients and cheffing was outstanding. All dishes were presented very well and the starters looked ‘Michelin starred style’ and tasted even better with each individual element having its own specific flavour and texture, all of which complemented each other (The mains were fantastic but it’s difficult to make Fish and Chips look pretty) Portion size was very generous. Can’t wait to go back. Definitely the best standard of food in Biggleswade since The Croft Kitchen left us. Everybody go now, but leave space for me…

Food was excellent, I had the venison and black pudding scotch eggs for starter, steak for main and crumble to finish. All the food was delicious and the steak cooked very well! Service was also very good. Nice to have a proper gastropub in the town.

We had been about a year ago and it was good but this time has been amazing. We tried the scallops (best ever tried, cooked to perfection), the harissa lamb and the miso aubergine and the three were absolutely delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary and they even treated us with some prosecco and chocolate brownie! Looking forward to visiting again!

We discovered the place by accident and glad we did.. Welcoming, quiet and relaxed atmosphere and pleasant staff. The food however was amazing!! Can't recommend highly enough. Creative cooking done well and at an agreeable price. It's a thumbs up from me x
