We had a brilliant time at The Escaporium. We chose 'Operation Moonshine' and it didn't disappoint. Our group varied in age from 16 - 54 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The games master was lovely and made the whole experience one to remember. Will definitely be back to try another room.

A brilliant escape room venue in Halifax with creative and unique games and fantastic staff. We played 4 rooms here and the staff were extremely accommodating with our booking and very friendly throughout the day. The rooms are very well themed and have unique and logical puzzles. Area 51.5 was our favourite and one of the best in the country, but the Christmas room was a close 2nd - this would be great for a family group. Really enjoyed the unique local theming of the Haligonian and moonshine was a brilliant classic style escape room with some great puzzles. Highly recommended all round, thanks to all the staff for being so lovely!

Spent the day doing 3 rooms at this location. A great day was had and very challenging for the 2 of us even as enthusiasts so larger groups will certainly be kept busy. Area 51 1/2 was the stand out room for us with so much effort and detail in the set design. Some great moments but certainly a challenge to complete in the time so suggest trying one of the other rooms first if beginners as long as you try it one day. A great escape room venue give it a go.

What an amazing time we had trying to get out of the escape rooms it was such a laugh. We did it with 15 seconds to spare too! Very well organised, super fun and so well thought out I don’t know how they think of the clues. Highly recommend for a fun hour with your mates 🎉

My team of three did three rooms in Halifax at the Escaporium and we had an amazing time! Two of the team hadn’t done one before but are now addicted. Each room was immersive and the puzzles varied, some really clever stuff that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Area 51 1/2 is one of the best rooms I’ve ever seen. You can tell the owners love what they do and put their heart and soul into it. The staff were lovely and gave us great clues when needed (thanks again Anne!). If I return to Halifax I will go back!

Went here as a group of four and all of us had such a good time. Definitely recommend, staff were friendly and helpful with clues. We didn’t escape the room in time but had a good time trying.

Had an amazing time, the escape room was amazing, we made it with 3mins to spare. Would 100% recommend. I am looking forward to coming back to try a different room

The Illuminati room was totally awesome. We were completely immersed in the whole experience. Just the right level of complexity to provide a real challenge. We managed to finish with 3 minutes to spare , total satisfaction for every member of our group. 😀

Really enjoyed this, was a tough escape room. Had to receive a number of clues but still didn't help us get out in time. If you like escape rooms I would definitely recommend having a go. Will need to go back in the future to try get out next time.

Highly recommend The Escaporium to everyone!! Done all the rooms there and each one is so distinctive and unique and would be enjoyed by all. There is always a lot to do in each room, so no one is ever bored or just stood waiting, no matter the team size. The owners and GMs are all so lovely as well, each room is built and run with passion and enthusiasm and giving every person the best time possible.

Absolutely fantastic. Completed the illuminati room with a few minutes to spare and loved every second of it! Done a couple of escape rooms prior and felt disappointed that most were mainly controlled by the person watching you but this felt fully immersive and hands on with so many puzzles requiring yourselves to unlock stuff in different ways. Our host Sam was amazing and friendly, would highly recommend to anyone fancying an escape room, one of the funnest hours of my life hands down. Thanks Sam!

Great fun but also frustrating if you get so close and don't finish 🤣 would recommend to everyone one.

Very disappointing experience. The staff member in charge of our room was abrupt and rude. We complained to the manager, who watched the video, and agreed he was too abrupt but that was as far as the apology went. Very frustrating when we’d paid nearly £100 for what should have been a fun experience. On a side note I would also say this was not a suitable experience for children. We had contacted the owner who had recommended the room we did (Haligonian) for the 2 children and 3 adults but it was too hard for them and neither of them enjoyed it.

Done the moonshine room, had such a great time done a second one. Great rooms, on my part I should of had more than 2 of us but still had a good time. Games masters were great and helpful when needed. This place has 2 locations but only a short walk from each other it clearly tells you on the website the locations of the rooms, I'm not local but it was very easy find.

Fantastic experience. Loads of fun. Great escape room with excellent puzzles and props. Excellent staff. Highly recommended.

This is my family’s favourite escape room company in West Yorkshire. We’ve done two rooms here now and they’ve both been fantastic. The staff are fun and helpful, the rooms are intricate and challenging but very fun and accessible, not frustratingly hard. We did the special Christmas room with Angela and loved that this Christmas! The thoughtful little stickers on the certificates at the end were a nice touch!

A really fun escape room experience, very timely & friendly welcome but most importantly for us they are dog friendly which is great when you have a lockdown puppy!

My wife and I had a great time here. We did the 1920’s room which was themed really well and the puzzles were difficult, but good fun!! The lady who welcomed us and explained the game to us was really friendly and gave us some really helpful tips when we were struggling! I would definitely recommend.

Went yesterday to do Operation Moonshine and what a great time we had! A lovely welcome on arrival, a short briefing about the game/setting then we entered the escape room. It was thrilling from start to finish and yes we managed to escape! Highly recommend this escape room, we'll definitely be back to try the other rooms. Thanks for a great experience

My friend invite us to do this, Am really happy that we did, Angela who was the Game master for that nite was a great Hostess really funny and made our nite really fun and Enjoyable. we did the Crux Codicillus Room which was a challenge but a fun nite. I would Recommend this place for a good day or nite and we will return for another room!

AMAZING. What a fantastic fabulous fun place. Unbelievably warm and friendly chap who looked after us. Brilliant, complex, fun, intriguing puzzles. Loved it. Cannot wait to come back and try again. Family friendly and brilliant.

Editing to say we've now done all three rooms at the Escaporium and honestly can't recommend them highly enough. We've done 20+ rooms and these are comfortably the best ones we've done in the UK. A really immersive experience, unique themes and puzzles and the most wonderful staff make this a top-notch experience. If you're reading this, get booked in - you won't regret it. We had an amazing time at the Escaporium! We chose “Operation Moonshine” for our group of 3. My friend’s 7 year old son especially enjoyed it as mafia stuff is right up his alley. Just a tip - make sure to listen to your games master and focus on the hints they give you! We were a little distractible, lol. Our Games Master Sam was fantastic. Very kind and helpful, and he did a great job connecting with the kiddo. We felt a little awkward after bc we left our car there while we picked up dinner, and when we came back around the corner gushing about how amazing Sam was he was standing right there! Sorry Sam! 😅 We can’t wait to visit again.

Just done the escape room in halifax and it was amazing we did the bugsey malone room and it was so challenging with plenty of puzzles to solve we didn't as a 2 and unfortunately got locked in but we still enjoyed the whole experience and solving the the puzzles !! Would highly recommend to anyone a d will deffo be back in the future to do more
