Absolutely excellent food, amazing value on a Monday night 50% off wine and a great 2 course price, and having pre booked and said we were GF and a veggie, they had the menus already for us. Very friendly, service 5☆+, loved it and great atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

Better than the Sefton egos, the staff are great,accommodating , fast service and the food was fantastic. Recommend the chorizo skewers for starters and any of the kebabs they’re always perfect.

We've dined at ego's quite a few times and it's always been excellent. However, we went a few weeks ago at lunchtime and I ordered the fish and chips which were very disappointing. It was fairly small in size but more importantly the batter was soggy and there wasn't a lot of taste to the fish. I did mention it to the waitress and she did apologise. You shouldn't really compare them, but my local fish and chip shop does much better quality and twice the portion for half the cost. It doesn't put me off going back but I wouldn't choose the fish and chips again.

Nice pub. Staff attentive but forgot half the drinks on two occasions. Didn't spoil the night though. Lovely inside really well laid out. Went on steak night. 3 out 4 steaks cooked perfectly.

We love Ego and come back time and time again. Food is excellent (particularly the hanging kebabs and the Pizza IMO), service is always friendly and the venue is nice. Great beer garden in the summer and plenty of room in the main restaurant too. They also have a small dog friendly area. Haven't had a poor experience.

Think your "Chef" needs to know how to score a fish so that it cooks evenly in a pan! Bubbled and scorched on one bit, not touched the pan on the other! Wow!! Whoever put that up on the pass and sent it needs a slap!

A lovely meal was had. Great restaurant and had 2 hand pump ales 🍺 on. The staff were really polite and helpful. I would go again!
