13/10/23: shocking service, ordered 5 beers and 3 x double espresso coffees. Coffees had to be requested twice as server forgot to make them. Waited another 20 minutes and went to speak to bar staff again, 2 of which were dancing on the floor. Reminded them about the drinks. Shortly arrived 3 Americanos (not double espresso) and an apology that a party of 6 had placed a large order. Still enjoyed the drinks, still liked the layout and little drinking rooms and outside area. Would possible return at a later date for a second chance.

Lovely place, great atmosphere and super friendly helpful staff. Had some lovely malbec red wine and the BEST EVER cheesy chips!!! (Not even on the menu! We just asked and they did it for us!) They had a choice of triple cooked fat chips or thin fries. We went for the fat chips, the cheese was gorgeous and perfectly melted all over the chips. They also threw some herbs (rosemary maybe?!) on the whole lot - absolutely delicious. Amazing. All served in two piping hot low bowls on a thick wooden cheese board type tray. Really fab. Wish I'd taken a photo to upload. Next time I will, then edit this review and add the photo in!. Thanks. Highly recommended. A++ :-) PS. They have a lovely upstairs/outside terrace too.

Lovely lunch today here, staff were nice and friendly except the middle aged man didn’t quite know his name. Was quite pleased to see vegan options. We ordered vegan burger, tempura vegetables and ciabatta. Food was excellent. Cocktails were nice as well. Will definitely come here again and hope to feel more welcomed next time 😊

Absolutely normally love the wine and wallop and recommend it, however today service was rubbish I ordered a chicken burger at £12 and followed up with does it come with anything g with passing waitress she said no so ordered some triple cooked chips When it arrived I got my burger only and the f (half the burger bun was almost empty) then followed with skinny fries to which I advised I ordered triple cooked chips (that had too much seasoning on) I had to ask for cutlery and remind staff for Mayo. When asking for the bill we waited 15 mins and then decided to go downstairs to pay which our server and 3 others were behind the bar talking - no apology etc Have a look at my lonely burger whilst I waited a further 5-10 minutes for my chips. Won’t be eating here again!

Walked in with my friend and my doggie. Went upstairs to find an outdoor area. How lovely … staff were very attentive , happy and genuinely concerned about our needs. Food was DELICIOUS! I ordered Chicken roast . The BEST roast dinner ever! Wine and side order. PERFECT!

Complete surprise. Another Tardis with multiple rooms all to ourselves on a wet Wednesday afternoon. Even so it has a great vibe. Boothroyd pictured with his fave grouo of all time..The Velvet Underground ..and Nico.(Andy Warhol factory days.) Hidden garden terrace. Two floors of seating. 4 real ales normally but only one on this wet Wednesday. A stout from Brightside. Lovely. Good wine. Lovely toilets.

Yet again Wine and Wallop did not disappoint. The Surf and Turf shared platter for two was excellent and well worth the short wait. Scallops, prawns, steak and a variety of other meat dishes were tasty and appealing. The garlic and lime(?) mayo was incredible and all served with oodles of focaccia and pitta bread. Love the staff in here - their banter is excellent

Amazing service and atmosphere! Great selection of drinks and the daytime / evening vibes are nice! Inside and outside areas are really cozy a great place to meet ❤️
