What's not to love about a pizza express? It's in a beautiful building with high ceilings and plenty of character. The food a PizzaExpress is always consistently good as is the service and staff are always friendly and very helpful

As Pizza Express goes, this is a good one. The pizzas are good quality, fresh and tasty and the service is quick and friendly. They have an air conditioner function room upstairs available for parties. They cater well for children and also do take away.

It was our first time coming to this restaurant and we didn’t regret it ! We had a Pizza Making Party for my daughter’s 7th birthday. It was well organised and prepared. Children were so happy to make their own pizza and it was very tasty too. Very nice a professional stuff. The restaurant itself has a modern atmosphere and it’s clean inside. Many thanks to their manager who let us stay 30-40 minutes more than the duration of the normal permitted party time. Many thanks.

We went with a group of seven 10/11 year olds for my daughter's birthday. Our server, Paulina couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The kids were on their own table so they felt grown up and Paulina went above and beyond to make sure they all had a great time.

Waited an hour for a pizza expecting it to be piping hot after waiting so long but it arrived barely warm which was a surprise. Too expensive for an ultra thin pizza with barely any topping on it. The chicken pizza was tasteless and the chicken seemed boiled with no flavour and very little of it. However, The beef one was nice and tasty.

We visited for lunch. Great tasting pizza. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. Staff were friendly and the service was good. A good selection of vegan options are available.

The restaurant is large, cozy, well furnished and clean. Staff was considerate and efficient. Few customers, consider the area, time and day of the week. Moving on to food, considering: - my previous reviews of similar restaurants; - the quantity and quality of the dishes, - the bill, I could define my experience today as unsatisfactory. I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s possible, but not likely, that I can come back.

Vegan pizza,tasted quite good. Had a vegan ginger cake and hot chocolate (hot drink included as part of dessert). Frosting of the cake could be better but overall good experience

Shocking. The pizzas have literally no cheese on, parts of mine was just toasted base, showed it to waitress and manager who we're very apologetic, made me a new 1 (but it wasn't much different) and refunded money. I got the feeling they hear it all to often. It's a less is more approach but truth be told they just very skimpy pizzas and you find any stretchy cheese on your chin that for sure. You will see what I mean if you go. Tbh I think it was a rip off but the staff were lovely and the restaurant also.

One of the best of the Pizza Expresses that I've been to. Picked this one after a previous very disappointing experience at another branch. Food was great (as usual), service was very good, lovely staff and nice venue.

Usually very happy with the quality of food when ordering takeaway at Didsbury Pizza express, however this occasion was shocking. We ordered 2 portions of dough balls, one of which didn’t arrive with the dips it usually comes with and secondly the romana margarita was very over done, stale, and uneditable. I regularly dine in at pizza express and I know I would never be served at this poor quality so why do it to takeaway orders? This has put me off from ever going to this restaurant again :(

Really enjoyable food and quick service. We were there on a Monday night and staying nearby for a flight the next day. It was pretty quiet but friendly staff and some new choices that were very good. Although we’ve eaten in Pizza Express loads of times, this was a new fresh menu and was really good.

Lovely experience, Paulina was fantastic! She made me something that wasn’t on the menu and checked whether we were enjoying our food regularly! Would definitely recommend coming here to others

Food was amazing, server got the kitchen to make an old, off-menu item for my starter. She checked in sincerely, enough but not too much. Thank you Cjasa and the kitchen staff for 3 lovely courses and a lovely family lunch.

Speedy drinks, complimentary water was refilled as soon as it was empty and food was delicious! The garlic mushrooms and pollo pasta were gorgeous 💚 Was able to bring leftovers home to my partner with no hassle either, lovely staff ✨️

A lovely enjoyable evening at pizza express for my daughters birthday this evening, all the children were very happy. Maria went out of her way to ensure everybody was happy and had everything they needed. The birthday board was extra special. Thank you we will be back

Eleanor went above and beyond and her team runs like a smooth, thoughtful, caring machine. My children have serious food allergies but we were made to feel very safe and cared for. Everything was 11/10 - exceeded every expectation. Absolutely blown away and can't wait to get back there for more of the same. A special thanks to Maria for the birthday board and being a lovely, attentive and kind server!

The service at this particular Pizza Express is extremely disappointing. I dined with my children this evening and the waitress that was serving us was unfriendly and passive aggressive and made no effort to be pleasent. On occasions I required some service and there was no one to be seen. I therefore got the attention of the evening manager, who behaved like she had been disturbed. On the childrens menu they had run out of chocolate ice cream, which was bizzare and confirmed my opinion that this particular branch was of sub standard in comparison to other branches. Overall a very poor experience indeed. I would highly recommend an alternative Pizzaerias in the area if you have children

The pizzas were really nice. But the person who took us to the table was a bit moody, we waited ages for starters and one was not hot.

Visited on NYE. Very helpful and friendly staff. We had diners with lactose and gluten free dietary requirements.

The pizza was Amazing and the drinks too but I told to the waiter that I can't eat Black pepper and chili and he said that was ok. After two days I am not still well so I checked the recipe of the pizza margherita on the web site and there Is black pepper on It This isn't correct at all. Thanks you for this.

We went to celebrate my sons birthday. The service was excellent as well as the food. The lady called Sabrina was our waitress and very pleasant and made our experience very good.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Didsbury. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Many thanks to Maria and Marcio! Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat.

Kids birthday party for our 5 year old - the staff were fantastic and all the kids had a great time. Special thanks to Eleanor, Hannah and Merhan the pizza chef who were excellent in serving us and also entertaining the kids. The kids enjoyed tossing dough and making their own pizza which they then ate along with dough balls to start and ice cream dessert. We would recommend having a kids party here and would do so again in the future.

Food and service was good. The starters were really smal for the price, especially the garlic bread. l and I didn't appreciate the dough balls having dips with them.

Lovely meal as always, our daughter loves it at Pizza Express. But a special mention to Maria. A brilliant member of staff, did everything right, but above all she seemed a genuinely lovely person. A great asset.

Really enjoyed the food here, there's a great choice of vegetarian/vegan food which is a bit different from the standard choices you get in other restaurants. We were served by a lovely waitress called Tjasa who made the visit even better. Will definitely return

Children’s birthday party in private room. Accommodating, personal, helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble and helped me plan. Flexible with our requests - we brought our own music, decorations and photo booth props. Eleanor and team set up the tables and tidied up, a great help. Food delivered at pre agreed times, all fab!

Its been a while since I encountered this amount of incompetence when placing a standard delivery. They managed to leave out multiple items, one of which was doughballs but yet somehow provided us with the dip??? Really disappointed and won't be entering the restaurant any time soon.
