I really like this place but at the moment it is in a transition between spring and summer so is not exhibiting much in the way of colour, will have to check it out again shortly.

Small but perfectly formed park! Best bit IMO is the Japanese garden which looks beautiful in all seasons with its stone river and cute seating area. Also has a wisteria tunnel, which is amazing to walk through when in bloom, a mini hill great for little ones to tumble down and a mini maze. No swings or slides though, just lots of connected little gardens.

A hidden beauty spot in Sale that I had walked past hundreds of times before and never entered. Glad I finally did.

This is very beautiful place with variety of plants and old trees, rest places. Some of the flowers are in blooming even now in November. There is beautifully designed fuchsia garden, the Japan inspired corner with bonsai trees, Wisteria's climber tunnel, beech maze. This place is very adorable and would be great place to spend nice time with kids, friend or alone.

Beautiful 'secret' garden. It's my favourite place to read and meditate, and you can even find a walking labyrinth and a Japanese garden

Excellent garden to spend an hour or two exploring. Lovely little touches like beautiful carvings, statuary, explanation boards giving the history of the place. Be ideal for children to do a hunt for all those carvings etc.

Gorgeous, peaceful gardens not far from Sale Moor village. Great place for a short walk or just to sit and admire the flowers. We love this place so much that I actually proposed here last April.

Lovely park that can only be described as a beautifully cared for oasis of calm. Great for a woodland feel walk with its Japanese garden, a hedged maze & labyrinth, woodland sculptures & its quirky Dovecote it has lots to offer everyone. We loved it for an afternoon autumn walk in all its colours & carpet of fallen oak & beech leaves! Beautiful place. Highly recommend.

Lovely little park/gardens, always enjoy a quiet walk around here when I visit Sale. I always have my binoculars on me as I have spotted quite a few not so common songbirds and the occasional kestrel. A walking maze, a fuchsia garden even a small Japanese area. Rain or shine always worth a visit

Gorgeous gardens of a very high standard. Maintained brilliantly. Lots of events available like outdoor theatre. Decent size. Dog friendly, but they must be kept on lead. Only down point is that there are no toilets. Portable toilets are available on event days though.

Little hidden gem. I was here almost every day when walking the dog during covid and I believe it helped me. Even took some of our wedding pics here.

Always wanted to pay a visit to this gem but never found the time, but easily found it after using Google maps. Finally I did and I was quite surprised how lovely the place is and isn't that far from Sale tram stop. Didn't know what to expect, therefore kept an open mind. Ideal place to relax on a sunny day or want abit of calm. Loved the Japanese garden, also finding themed wooden post. In addition the variety of plants the gardens had. I would recommend at least one visit, but I would visit again.

A pretty little gardens, great in all seasons, especially autumn when all the leaves change colour. In spring the flowers are beautiful and vibrant. Good place for a short walk with the dog, although dogs are kept on leads which is good for nervous dogs or puppies.

Hidden and unexpected gem in the middle of Sale suburbs. The leafy space and unusual spaces are a microcosm of a larger park. Definitely visit if you want peace and tranquillity in the heart of a large suburb of Manchester.

A beautiful treasure. A garden with full of surprises. A stunning arrangement in garden design. There are some open air performances, cinema or theatre in summer. This place is well worth a visit, equally pleasant in summer or winter. Free parking spaces for approx.14 cars. No admission fees. I give it a 5+ star rating.

Never knew this park was here but what a lovely well maintained park, some of the scenery was amazing. We arrived here because we were on a wedding photo shoot, we must've been in the park for at least an hour. I am really excited about seeing the pictures when they are developed. But once again what a beautiful park.
