Pleasant and calm atmosphere with helpful staff and a good range of drinks and snacks. The hot soup was tasty, along with the chickpea curry and Bombay potatoes. A very nice first try of an airport lounge.

This place is a real game changer family of four and booked it for 3 hours around £100 for all of us we ate and drank what we want. Greeted by very pleasant staff who couldn’t do enough for us nice chilled table. Kids filled their boots loved it! Seriously don’t hesitate it’s a lovely place and worth the money !

Nice lounge with hot & cold self service food. I came during breakfast & they had a good selection of items for a full English breakfast. You’ll also find a good range of alcoholic drinks available from beer to prosecco. The lounge has comfortable seating areas, they are available to be reserved. If you are using a priority pass you may find it difficult to enter during busy times.

Me and my partner was sat down tucked away in a nice corner minding our own business with plenty of tables and seats around us not being used when a member of staff came over and asked us to move so a group of 4 could sit at our table which would have not been a problem if there was not enough seats and tables for them all to sit at together i would have volunteered to move for them we had chose the seats as they was the most comfortable as my partner was suffering from alot of back pain at the time i explained this to the member of staff but he wasnt interested we asked the group if they had asked for the seats due to a disability of some kind there answer was no so there was was no ligitimate reason to have us moved we was very disappointed and it put a dampener on our stay at the escape lounge needless to say we wont be booking again

Decent food & very friendly staff. Good level of customer service. Free food & drinks including dietary options such as gluten free. Comfortable enough chairs but not premium level. Not enough charging sockets. Not a very relaxing atmosphere. Toilets definitely not premium! Cleanliness could be improved. Dirty carpets & dirty counters with dirty cultery & crockery left lying about. Mostly from children. Needs more regular cleaning.

Visit the lounge every time I come to the airport. A lovely relaxing atmosphere. Great space to relax before your flight. Staff are friendly and there is a good choice of good available.

Room a bit too warm but otherwise lovely experience. Would definitely recommend and use again. As a nervous flyer it was just what I needed to relax before my flight

Very basic lounge with no good views of the planes. The main terminal waiting area is more enjoyable to sit.

Do not use this lounge if you want any kind of decent customer service. Seats awful. No windows. Kids and people with fingers all over the food. Very rude receptionist with no customer service skills WHATSOEVER. I drink brandy and awful. Fine if you drink gin however. Save your money and go to the other restaurants. Not worth it. Sat in what can only be described as a care home chair and table. Not allowed to move a chair to join my friends. Please note if you are a party unless you book on one booking you will be sat all over. And spoken to very rudely if you try to move. Just no need.

The escape lounge in Terminal 1 at Manchester Airport is very nice and modern. At the reception, my girlfriend and I received a friendly welcome from the staff, especially from Jonathan. We were told how to connect to the Wi-Fi. We were also shown where the drinks and buffets were. There is also original Coca Cola and 100% fruit juices. There is a rich breakfast and lunch buffet and a large selection of drinks. I would recommend the escape lounge to anyone.

First time ever upgrading to an airport lounge and it was great, well worth the price! Staff are helpful and friendly, food was great and there was a good variety. Nice and quiet with comfy seating, great way to relax before a flight. I will definitely be returning in the future!

It was quiet when we used it, which was nice. However, the seating was uncomfortable and close together, and it was not always easy to find seating with a plug. The food was basic and not very tasty. The drinks selection was quite good with a choice of lager, stout, wines and prosecco. Along with a selection of spirits. From all the lounges I've stayed in, this is at the bottom end of the list. The staff were attentive and very polite and friendly though, and were keen to help you with anything you needed which was a big bonus. All in all, it's probably still better than not booking the lounge, but not by much.

The food and drink was great and the lounge was very well looked after and just what we wanted before our trip. Fridges well stocked and fresh food was brought out when needed too. If anything it was quite warm but some people may have said it's cold so there is no pleasing everybody. Very pleasant

In the airport lounge for 3 hours today and it was very good. I was there from 6am-9am. I didn't book in advance but there was plenty of room for walk ins. The seating was comfortable and there were options of couches, armchairs, tables and high stools. I took an armchair with a Power point close by to charge my laptop. There was a choice of hot and cold food and beverage options all for free. Hot options was bacon, sausage, hash browns, eggs and beans. Other options included cereal, pastries, fruit and porridge. A great touch was the flavoured syrups available for your coffee. The staff were absolutely amazing, very friendly and always happy to help even at busy periods. They all seem really happy at work and to give great customer service. I would 100% come back and recommend to others. If I had one negative or thing that I hope could be improved it would be that the WiFi is quite slow (best I got was 4.6mb/ps) and that was when there were little to no passengers in the lounge. If this is improved easily 5 stars!

Very friendly staff and very nice atmosphere. Loved the chatty receptionist, she really made us feel welcome

We prefer to use these lounges whilst at the airport to get away from the hustle and bustle. There's a great choice of drinks, wines, lagers, ciders, gins, whiskeys, prosecco, a soft drinks machine for coke, etc, and a water barrel with fresh water. There's also mini fridges with bottled drinks where you can help yourself to coke, lager, guiness and ciders. Good choice of food, sandwiches, nachos and dips, crisps, sausages, soup, salad, flavoured chicken drumsticks, 5 bean bbq mix amongst other choices. If you visit in the morning there's breakfast options rather than lunch. It has a great atmosphere and the staff are all professional and friendly. Pre booking is highly reccommend.

Due to how busy the Escape lounge was we were sent to the 1903 lounge instead. We were greeted by an awesome front of house lady who explained the lounge, what was available and brought us with a WiFi code. The food was plentiful, warm and varied and there was a great range of drinks including branded spirits, bottle of prosecco on ice and a fridge of beers and ciders. Great views of the apron for T1/T3 but one area I would improve would be the ambience. It was a little quiet and could have benefitted from a little music or a TV on in the background.

No they aren’t good. When I presented card and asked whether my card has lounge access he said yes and then my card was charged. Also they don’t have enough veg options and if you have doubt about whether something is veg /contains eggs They can’t tell that either.

We really enjoyed our time in the lounge today before our flight. We witnessed the bar staff on a few occasions get some fairly unpleasant behaviour from some people, demanding doubles / questioning the amount of drinks they could get. They handled it really well and remained professional throughout. The staff were super friendly, we got a great welcome and shown to our seats. The gentleman and lady behind the bar were great and had good chat and really lovely. Food was great for what we paid and just enough choice for the both of us. Would recommend ☺️

Lovely relaxing place to be before your break away. Food is top notch, staff are so polite and the whole place is spotless. Special mention to Han at the bar for great service.

Jonathan's welcome was wonderful. We arrived at 1045 and sadly breakfast had clearly been sat a while. Shortly after it was like a scramble for the lunch items. The larger pumps were not in action and the coffee machine was not working. Not exactly what you think of for a premium lounge. Toilets are also not in the lounge and it was difficult to get back in. Chairs are comfy enough, especially when you get moved around chairs a couple of times.

Staff pleasant. No forks or knives when 10 min in after doors opened. Had bacon egg. Egg too well done same for bacon. Sausage was good. Little pastries were also good. Would recommend the egg custard one. Otherwise quite a nice lounge. Ladies Toilets not clean.

Enjoyed my first experience of the lounge. Staff were excellent and so friendly. It was very clean. The only thing I would have like was another option or two of fresh vegetables. The food I had was tasty though and the baked muffins were absolutely gorgeous!

First experience in the lounge, so worth the money to be comfortable and relaxed, charging ports everywhere (always handy). The food is constantly being brought out fresh with a good selection.

Food choice is below average, not much hot food for vegetarians apart from a bland curry. Service was good, can get very crowded.

It's pretty good. The staff are nice and welcoming. There is a huge range of drinks, especially alcohol. The food was limited and I would have given another star if there were vegetarian options for hot food.

I found the lounge an excellent place to relax before my flight to Dubai. Check in was seemless. Plenty of hot food and drinks available. It was a bit full upon entering but still plenty of available seating. It soon went quieter and for a good hour there where only several people in. Paid £26 and soon earned the cost back considering what the bars and cafes would cost Staff really friendly and constantly keeping areas clean and refilling things. Will definitely use again
