Its a Premier Inn. Would exoect it to be pretty decent anywhere you go in the country right? Right. So, as standard, you'd expect, a comfy bed (oh my, the bed was comfy), a decent restaurant with a good menu, good breakfast (the breakfast was AWESOME). Now, service... in this day and age, service can be a bit, pot luck. Thankfully, whoever did the interviewing for jobs at this place, did a great job. Everybody we had any interaction with, we're really nice. 2 people in particular were amongst the most friendly, professional and helpful staff I've ever cone across, Sophia and Connor. Even after long shifts.. the smiles and willingness to help, level = Heroic! Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a Manchester Airport stay... or even for a decent steak and friendly staff!

Perfect stay for preflight stay. Staff and service were exceptional. We had a newer double room which was comfortable, clean and modern. Nice soft bed and plump pillows. Overall great value hotel, great service and staff can't fault anything about my stay.

Prime example of a hotel built by the cheapest bidder. Convenient for Manchester Airport which is the only reason you'd actually want to stay here. Dodgy lamp in the room. Shower that kept changing temperature. Tea , coffee but no milk provided. No water provided, so that's 4 quid from the bar. A tenner to park overnight. Noisy, heavy doors and paper thin walls. It's a transport hub so basically expect inconsiderate families coming and going at all times of the night, and expect to hear all of it. Earplugs and a flask of tea & a bottle of water recommended if you really must stay here.

Very welcoming reception very helpful bar staff friendly and waiting staff restaurant host was brilliant so welcoming friendly fast but chilled night food was delicious meal deal definitely worth it the rooms are spotless clean and everything you need. Plenty of parking £10 per night bargain. So far so good easy check in Showers are really powerful love the sink in the room perfect for getting ready in while someone is in shower. Rooms smell nice and clean no issues what’s so ever and beds are the amazing travel inn beds so my wife fall asleep within 3 minutes of laying on the bed. No noise what so ever from outside we just next to the lifts and it’s really quiet. But hotel is full everyone very friendly would definitely recommend breakfast is always good at travel inn never have any complaints. The restaurant host is really nice definitely customer focused. Really good night sleep we was in the room above main entrance near lift and we didn’t hear any taxis or anything as the windows are double glazed and secondary window shutter. Great night sleep. We booked with holidays extra and the experience was really good. I even left my Apple Watch on charge on the shaving plug and they have got it and put it in the safe for me for my return on Tuesday brilliant customer service. Many thanks

Close to the airport. Comfortable size room. Budget friendly and quiet. The shower is okay - it works, it’s not too powerful but fine for one night. The bed is moderately big and comfy for a one night stay. Great for a stopover, and the staff at check in desk are friendly and equipped with lots of info. The airport shuttle is a good service and only costs £4.50 per person so cheaper than a taxi or uber! You have to book this with the receptionist at your hotel.

A Premier Inn is a Premier Inn. Simple as that with the usual standard rooms and really good beds. Ideal location for Airport. Room smelled a little bit 'funky' (don't know if this was caused by cleaning products) but was clean enough for a quick overnighter to get to Airport early in the morning. £10 for overnight parking is a bit rubbish mind you, but they have a captive audience, so what can you do.

Clean and comfortable room, great bed. Good priced room for the night. Helpful staff. Close to the airport. Taxi prices are a bit of rip off £11/£12, even the one called by the hotel reception. There is a bus but the stop is some distance to walk. An airport shuttle service would be good.

The best sleep I've ever had, the room was so clean and that what gives a first impression in any hotel I go to. I like that they've put spare pillows and covers in the room, shows they care about thier customers. the staff were very nice and welcoming. the breakfast was ok but other than that I enjoyed my time there.

First time in this premier inn as we have stayed in the opposite premier inn regularly. The premier plus room was a great surprise. A decent size, clean, newly refurbished room. The bathroom was excellent. Good quality toiletries, bath towels weren't great but adequate. The cleanliness was 10/10

Slow check in and, when we got to our room, the key didn't work. Restaurant facility and choice of food is first class. Our waitress, Coral was pleasant and friendly. This hotel is our first choice when flying from Manchester.

A typical Premier Inn hotel. Somewhere to get 40 winks before a flight. As this one is next to Manchester airport, there is a fee for parking (even if you're an overnight guest). An extortionate £10. However, it's proximity to the airport is very convenient. If your room is at the front of the hotel on one of the lower floors near the entrance, keep your windows closed or you'll be passive smoking and listening to all manner of conversation when the smokers congregate by the front door. Can't comment on breakfast as our flight was too early. Tea and coffee facilities were provided, and there was an adequate bathroom.

Easy to park (£10 per night), welcoming staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Unfortunately breakfast was not as good as it used to be. Served at the table, the waiter brings food to you but although it's an all inclusive breakfast you have to ask continously if you want more of something or more drinks etc. Obviously not the restaurant fault but those are the regulations just now. Pity that they bring 1 toast, 1 egg, 1 sausage etc... Long waiting time because there is no buffet. Great place for families with kids at a very affordable rate.

It is a good place to crush for a night before the next day flight, but the cleaningness and tidiness are at a very low standard. Luckily I had a clean bed, but the shower...I couldn't go in. I washed like a cat at the sink that is in the sleeping room and not in the bathroom. If you check in before 3.00pm you have to pay 10 pounds. Aswell the bus from the hotel to the airport is 5 pounds. If you want to eat something between breakfast and 3.00pm...no chance, so you better take some snacks with you, or you cand buy some crisps from the reception. I will recommend my company to avoid booking rooms at this hotel. The only plus: very quiet, even though there were taking place some redecorations at top floor.

Handy distance from the city centre, clean and although it's on the doorstep of one of England's busiest airports it's surprisingly peaceful. A tad expensive for a premier Inn , but not quite the £500 some city centre hotels were charging per room per night. I would have given 5 stars had there been more warning about the parking charge.

Good service from front desk and reasonable price for a room per night. Really good location is your doing from Manchester airport only A3 minute drive. Parking is £10 per night which is hight when you're paying for the stay. Room and nice. Food in the restaurant is a little high.

Clean, modern, pretty spacious for a near-airport motel. When we arrived, room temperature was 16C. We left for the bar (£5 cocktails 5 to 7) and dinner reservation for 7 PM. Friday night, 7 PM, food took a long time to come, but was good and a decent value. When we got back to the room, with the heat and fan turned up, it was just about 20C, so we left the heat on, and the fan was quite audible, but white noisy enough that it didn't interfere with my sleep. Beds comfortable, linen pretty good. Staff were helpful getting cab arranged for my wife's very early departure to airport. Shuttle services don't start until 4 AM, and she needed to be there at 3:30 AM. Do be advised that parking is £10, payable upon exit in a machine near the door. You ask at the desk for a ticket on your way out to validate in the machine with a payment card (no cash).

We stayed a night before our holiday and a night after too. The woman on the reception (Cassie) on both occasions was extremely helpful, polite and very welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was brilliant and the meal deal was great value. Would recommend ⭐️

Expected to see Alan Partridge kicking about. Small car park. No electric charges despite being listed. The whole place smells really bad. Sound proofing non existent and a square TV last seen in 1996 make for a retro feel that isn't done in an ironic way. Avoid if you are looking for a nice experience. Stay here if you want a relatively cheap room close to the airport.

Convenient and friendly hotel. Very close to the airport. Also provides shuttle service (at small extra fee). The restaurant and bar are nice addition. The food and drinks are nice - great quality and good variety of choices. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming especially Mark & Magda at the restaurant. Would definitely use it again and is equally if not better than major international hotel chains. 5* :)

Reliable chain, you know what you're getting. Genuinely everything was great until it came to food. We wanted snacks not a full meal but the calamari portion was an absolute joke. It was like £6 for a couple of the smallest pieces of calamari I've ever seen. Crazy money for what you get.

Stayed here before journey to Portugal, lovely hotel very friendly and worth the money. Food was nice especially the pizzas. The rooms were very nice and posh and clean and a large shower in bathroom. Would definitely recommend for a stop over

Ok, not great. Every time I stay here, I always get disturbed during the night. Could do with more noise insulation. Had to cross to the other Premier Inn 100m away for breakfast, due to the chef not showing up for work. Breakfast isnt the best, but better than the rubbish in the airport.

We did an overnight stay prior to our flight home to France. It's not our first time, and as usual, it was excellent! Yan, the manager, was very welcoming, as was every staff member we interacted with. This is a perfect location close to the airport, I have no hesitation in recommending, and the restaurant for an early dinner was great!

  • 5/5 Kate H. 4 months ago on Google
The rooms are great, just what you'd expect from a Premier Inn. The reception staff were lovely, very friendly and chatty. The location is perfect for the airport and they offer a shuttle service from 4am, it costs £5 per adult. The food was good and we had a great night's sleep.

Our bedroom seemed a bit dated but understand that it's being refurbished. Reception, bar and restaurant were clean and comfortable. Food choice was OK for evening meal and breakfast. Nice place to stay before our flight the next day. Good location for the airport.

Carpet is worn in some areas in room, but overall great for a stop off before your travels. Shelf with coffee tray hadn't been wiped, but I am fussy when it comes to cleaning. Staff were friendly at check in but I think £10 to get into your room at 1.15pm instead of 3pm especially when it is ready is a bit much. Just had soup for dinner which was tasty enough. Overall not a bad place to stay for short periods as it isn't near shops unless you have a car. Rooms were very quiet no plane noise. Shuttle bus to airport stops at 10am. 2nd night stay had fish & chips, fish was nice, small potion of mushy peas and chips weren't the best.

Great location next to motorway and airport. Having a refurb when we got there, rooms have very recently been upgraded however and so our room was very good. Staff were helpful. Parking is £10 per night and you pay on check out, you can go in and out as much as you want in that time. :)

Comfortable bed and lovely room. Check in girl last night not very nice! Room key wouldn't work on arrival and she seemed really annoyed, but in her defence the place was so busy and she was on the desk by herself!!

It was clean enough but the food is awful, and the receptionists were moody as heck. Also, when I booked in they asked when I wanted breakfast etc but when I went down in the morning they said I never booked / paid so couldn't have anything.... so why was my room / name written on some paper ? It's okay for what it is, but won't go back to this one again. Would rather go to the other hotels in the area.

The best thing about this hotel is the service the staff offer. It was a busy night and they flew about like witches on broomsticks, yet had time to pass a few words and make you feel particularly welcome. There is definitely a great working relationship between the staff who banter, have a laugh but when the work is on, they are on it... Superb experience. Oh and the beds are comfy...🙄

Before I go any further I would highly recommend booking the Premier inn across the car park. Check in was okay, room was okay. TV in the room needs an upgrade looked ancient. If you do plan on staying here please go else where for food. Shocking how the menu in the room has different prices than what the actual restaurant menus which are more expensive. Portion sizes were for 5 year olds. The quality of food; well would I feed it to my dog? No I couldn't put her through that. Over priced. Go elsewhere.

  • 2/5 Andrew W. 2 years ago on Google
It took an eternity to check in as there was only one member of staff on the check in desk, although plenty standing round. Rooms are ok but there are certainly nicer premier inns out there. The restaurant wasn’t the best either, portion sizes very small and over priced. The quality of the food isn’t the best either.

Nice overnight stay. Food took a long time to arrive at evening meal. But otherwise ok and would stay again.

Typical Premier Inn. Close to the airport and close enough for a taxi ride. Room was clean and tidy. Service was helpful and friendly. Would recommend. Best to book well in advance and get the lower price rooms. Makes it even better value.

Fantastic at this hotel. Conner and the Irish waitress were excellent. This was our stop before going on honeymoon. When Conner heard this news he organized a bottle of prosecco in an ice bucket and brought it to our room. After a very hectic couple of weeks we were able to properly unwind ...what a start to married life. Please pass our thanks on again.

Pretty good overall. Reception was a bit slow, due to staff shortage. The meal was fine, with excellent service. The room was clean, but the toilet flush button is very difficult to operate?

  • 3/5 Stephen P. 1 year ago on Google
Typical Premier Inn, basic but clean with comfy beds and good value. Marked down a star because the claimed "shuttle bus" to the airport is in fact a minibus taxi, there were too many people crammed in with their luggage and we ended up being charged exactly the same inflated price (£10 for a 2-mile trip) as taking a normal, more comfortable taxi - every party was charged the same so the minibus driver did very well!!

  • 1/5 james h. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed here from the 2nd to 3rd of May prior to an 18hr flight, Got no sleep due to the banging and noise for the taxi's arriving and going all through the Night Raise a complaint with the reception who were very apologetic and were going to talk with the taxi firm that they use about the noise . They were aware of a noise issue for that room as it was directly over the doorway and advise that we contacted customer services on our return for a refund. However, instead of having a relaxing stay to start our holiday, we were left sleep-deprived and exhausted, not good when we had 2 8-hour flights to look forward to. I rang customer services and talk with a Grace who told me that even though they had instructed all the taxis on behalf of the clients, that it wasn't covered as external noise is excluded under their T&Cs , even though they were service taxis contract by them !! con not believe that a company thier size is hiding behind T&C's . won't be staying there anymore even though we have stayed there many times before, and will take up my refund and compensation via court action.

Like any other Primier Inn, this one is similar to others in the hotel chain in term of their room and facilities. We had problem with our key card. My husband had to go down to the receptionist twice. 1st to change the card. When the newly change card also did not work he went down again. This time the manager/officer had to cone with a gadget to reset the lock at the door. Then only the key card work. We had an early flight to catch and the hotel help us to call for a cab

  • 4/5 Carol M. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms are ok, really teeny tiny TV that you can't see from the bed. Restaurant ok, but absolutely nothing vegan on the menu, I am allergic to dairy so it made my choice very limited and of course no desert. Also Premier Inn need to make it clearer what's included and what's not included with their meal deals.

  • 5/5 绚 . 1 year ago on Google
This is one of the better reviewed hotels around the vicinity of Manchester Airport. There's another Premier Inn across the road (North), and this is South. That was the main reason we chose to stay here, despite it not being the cheapest. The room allocated to us was very spacious, with lots of space for us to reorganise our 4 suitcases, as we flew on from one country, and were flying out to another, the following day. We had our own car, so had to pay for overnight parking, which was £10. Some of the other hotels are charging £25! Check-in was quick and efficient. Bed was comfortable, and shower was strong and hot. Couldn't have asked for anything more. We didn't have any meals at the hotel, so we are not able to comment on that. Overall, it was a very comfortable room to stay in. We will definitely stay here again if we have an early flight out.

Visited to meet my parents who were staying so this is a review of the restaurant really! Food arrived quickly, Starters were delicious! Staff were kind and helpful. Mains were nice and the restaurant was clean. The building needs some renovation, some of the ceiling tiles were stained with possible leaks.
