We visited here on my daughters birthday, we were given the menus then had to wait around 10 minutes for a waitress to take our order even though it wasn't busy and the staff were stood talking to each other behind the counter. I could not but notice that all the windows at the back of the shop looked filthy and dirty, I asked the waitress why this was, she said that they were not dirty but they needed to be replaced by the Landlord. Not a problem but then when she brought over the order she never said a word and was funny with us. I had a scone with butter and tea, but sadly the scone was listed as being a fruit scone and freshly baked, it wasn't freshly baked and there where just a few sultanas dotted around the outside and when cut in half nothing no fruit just plain. The waitress said that nobody else had complained about them, I reminded her that I wasn't interested in anybody else apart from what I had been served, The owner then came over and said she would knock the scone off the bill, I mentioned the conversation regarding the windows that I had with the waitress because I felt there was tension in the air, she said why would the windows bother you, I will leave the rest, the owner seems a really nice girl but surely when a customer give a little constructive criticism as the owner of a business especially an eatery you should take it on board and not dismiss it surely you want customers to have a lovely experience without hostility and bad atmosphere from staff.

Great menu, fab cakes all home made. Lovely terrace outside, so nice and Covid safe. Friendly and helpful staff. One of the best hand cut ham sandwiches I have had. Cappuccino came with a fun chocolate dusting. Returning on Monday for some more cake.

A charming little cafe with a cute little terrasse to sit out at in summer. The staff here are all so lovely and kind and accomodating of everyone. The food & drink is just so scrumptious and generous in portion sizes (especially the porrdige). It's a perfect spot for anyone for any kind of visit! I've been 3 times this week ;)

went there for afternoon brunch and was told the breakfast menu had finished, ok. However we choose a wrap and we're suprised to be charged £6 for a plain tuna mayo wrap, very disappointing. im sure the rest of the menu was nice but for what we ordered it was over priced and disappointing

Baffled by the staff in the tea room today. I met a friend for coffee this morning and between us we ordered 3 coffees. We were there for about an hour when the waitress came over and asked if we would like to order anything else. I said that I was okay at the moment but asked if I could have some tap water. She said that it was cheeky to not be ordering anything given how long we had been there (I was currently drinking my coffee at the time, so she could see what had ordered) and that it was rude to not be ordering food since it was coming up to lunch time. For the record, we were going to get lunch there but it was 11:30 so I wasn't going to order just yet. And, I was still drinking my coffee so I wasn't going to order another until I had finished. She then walked away and did not come back. Initially I thought she was joking, but she made it clear that she was not. Bizarre experience given that we had already ordered three drinks and were in the process of drinking them whilst being berated for not ordering more. Shan't be going back and will be advising others to avoid.

Popped to Knutsford for a little Charity Shop Shopping Spree with my mate. We stumbled upon The Tea Room and loved the look of it. My friend had the Chunky Chips & I had the Cheese on Toast. They were both cooked to perfection. We both had a Chai Latte, to be honest it was the first time I had a Chai Latte. It was stunning, definitely will be my go to drink from now on. My friend told me it was the best one she had ever had. For dessert, we treated ourselves to a slice of homemade cake each. Which was so beautiful and... sorry to anyone who hates the word... moist, light and fluffy! Our server was a lovely lady named Ellie, it was her first day. We wouldn't have known if she hadn't told us, she did a wonderful job. They also do a drink that you pay for, but it will go to someone who needs it. Which was lovely to see. Highly recommend.

My mum and a friend had afternoon tea here. Harriet and the team were most welcoming and helpful. My mum thoroughly enjoyed her visit, from the cakes to the customer service. A big thank you to everyone at The Tea Room. Hopefully, we'll visit again soon.

We went to this cafe for lunch with our 5 month old puppy who was dining out with us for the first time. Lots of vegan options on the menu which is a delight. We ordered vegan toasties and spicy bean burger and a small meal for our puppy. Absolutely loved the spicy bean burger and chips.Didn’t quite like the toasties much, felt a bit bland. The cafe was quite busy hence struggled to sit comfortably as table behind us was too close as they were a huge noisy group. Overall a nice little dog friendly place with good dog food options.

I go every time I visit Knutsford. Tons of tasty cakes to choose from and they have great gluten free options.

Often pop in here for a bite to eat and never had an issue. Was sat down by a waitress who handed us some food menus. Myself and my partner had chosen what we wanted to eat. The waitress came over to take our food order and then explained they aren’t doing food because they had just cleaned the grill? It would have been handy for someone to mention this to us before we had sat down and spent time choosing what we wanted. Why give us a food menu when you aren’t serving food? The waitress was not sympathetic at all so we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Poor service all round!

Very cute little cafe. Stopped off for lunch while on a long journey as we wanted somewhere dog friendly and it really delivered - they made a big fuss over our boy and they even have a special dog menu!

Delicious carrot cake and hot chocolate, big portions and good prices. Staff was friendly. We wish they’d close later so we could go after work.

Breakfast Barm, one sausage, one tiny slice of bacon, one egg, cheap white barn. Very slow service. Overpriced, poor quality

Loved my Chicken salad for lunch today! This salad was a proper 'salad' with everything you would expect ( even pine nuts!) Lovely place & will definitely be visiting again when in area. Thankyou!

Good, home-cooked food, good service and reasonable prices. It was a little too loud for relaxed conversation but only just. Suitable for all ages.

Great location, great staff, and very dog friendly (my German Shepherd pulls us to their front door when walking in town). Cakes and foods served are all delicious, particularly the club sandwich. Great place to have breakfast or lunch after a walk in the park.
