Had a delicious roast dinner here today. Big portions and reasonable prices. We were served by Harry who was very polite, attentive and professional. We were made to feel very welcome by Harry and all the staff. Would definitely recommend 👍

Lovely meal as usual at the White Bear : excellent service from the lovely Maria and Chef . Lovely and warm with the fire on . Many pubs lack this warm atmosphere. Keep up the good work!!

This pub was a very very welcome sight after walking from Plumley. A very traditional coaching Inn, the low ceilings and dark oak beams almost take you back in time. We just stopped in for drinks, but both dog and child were welcome inside. Although we didn't eat, food was available and looked wholesome and filling. I felt comfortable and very glad of the chance to rest. I wouldn't hesitate to return here.

2nd time I have eaten here, With the new chief food cooked to perfection. Lamb and the steak.

Lovely friendly atmosphere for a lunch time drink or food. Always welcoming. Refurbished during the pandemic with a nice outside area.

Fantastic little pub serves great food and drinks and there a lot of shops and picturesque little town, but mind you head in the pub , LOW CELLING yes I bumped my head 😀

I took my family here on a couple of occasions recently and we all really enjoyed it. Lovely beer garden, accommodating and friendly staff along with amazing Long Island Iced Teas! 👍

What a fantastic country pub, I stumbled upon during a drive to Jodrell Bank. I ended up having Sunday dinner and it was truly lovely and is absolutely recommended. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. I will certainly be back when next in the area.

Good food, friendly staff and a quirky setting! The only negative was that the menu that we were provided upon arrival did not reflect the one we found on their website. It wasn't a million miles off, however!

Good food, well priced and staff really pleasant. Also well situated in the town. Would recommend to friends and would go again.

Arrived just before a football game and it was the Epitome of charming. The bartender was so friendly, and we had a couple of drinks in a quiet corner surrounded by impressive art before our food was served. The food was exceptional in both quality, and price. We were so surprised as we’d just stumbled across this place.

We popped in for a pint earlier, nice atmosphere and lovely little pub (watch out for those low ceilings though!) I have to say Holly behind the bar was great and very attentive. 5* service, we’ll definitely be back!

It was very nice, the ambiance was lovely. Unfortunately no food available. So had a drink and left.

Visited the white Bear in knutsford this afternoon for lunch, ordered the beer battered haddock and hand cut chips, it was cooked to perfection, the presentation was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Compliments to the chef and also thank you to Jamie who couldn't do enough for us! We will definitely be back to try more of the stunning menu!
