A nice centrepiece to the village, there are good walks from here and a few nice cafés and pubs. There is the Lymm Heritage Centre down the road to visit if you want more historical detail on the area. There are nice cycling options on the Transpennine Trail and along the Bridgewater Canal.

great area with nice people and very nice restaurants. every now and then events are set up such as food festivals which are helped by the local air cadet unit. however it usually has rubbish spread all over the floor . (the air cadet unit was very thorough with their clean up after the last food festival as lymm was very clean)

Fantastic lovely village location with a lot to offer. After a series of stressful weeks it was nice to come here and mentally unwind the right way 💪. This is a review for the monument, but there are lovely walks, hairdressers, a Sainsbury's and plenty of nice dining places all within walking distance. Shall I say plenty of nice cars to catch the eye too 👀

Lovely place to visit especially on a warm autumnal day. The cross and stocks were amazing. Lymm turned out to be quite picturesque with the damn in the village. Some great shops especially the charity shop where I got some bargains.

My Nan lived here as a child, and wrote that before she moved it was her mission to climb the steps....she managed it and in memory of my Nan, I had to climb. I beautiful little village, with very friendly people

Very unusual landmark of grade1 listed cross with weather vane and sun dials, set on a red sandstone outcrop dating back to the early 17th century. With the old village stocks in front it certainly makes a fitting focal point in this relatively unspoilt historic village. Great to walk around here early in the morning before all the traffic appears. With the deserted roads it's like going back in time with the old fashioned shop fronts and quaint layout of the place.
