Beautiful park. Play area and trains rides are great fun. Needs a cafe and public loos then we could stay all day

What a glorious park for the children and the bonus was the miniature steam trains operated by enthusiastic modellers ans metal craftsmen. The play area was clean and plenty of seating for the parents and another bonus was the reasonably priced ice cream van charging 2.00 for a 99 ice cream. Loads of space to cycle or play football or fly a kite. Trafford Council operates the park so its well kept and spaced off areas to keep the children safe.

Went to see the train. Train wasn't out. Details online are not correct. Small play park, nothing special.

Short of lighting for people passing through after dark and definitely a need for loos especially as weekend when there are lots children in park

Lovely medium sized park with a big open field, a children's play area and model train rides, on mostly steam powered locomotives. A nearby train station and bus stop for access. Parking can be difficult at peak times of the year.

I used to love this park when I was a kid and the playground is great now my daughter loves running around like a lunatic!!! Everytime I go now though I always miss the trains 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ so I dont know if their still running round the field, if so I'm not sure on what day and times but if I find out I'll add it on. And the fireworks and the bonfire are the best in trafford 🎆🎇🎆🔥🔥🔥

The park is just a field really but the best thing is the miniature trains. Great for the kids. There are also two reasonable playgrounds. We go here all the time.

A fantastic place to take children of all ages. There is a miniature railway and at 30p very good value. The park also has the traditional park equipment, swings, slide etc. There is on street parking but it can get busy. Well worth a visit.

Love this place and the little steam train rides are amazing - very well organised and lovely and clean

Decent play equipment, one older and one younger children. Large field. Train track which does not run very frequently, if at all, through the year. No car park to access the park. Some tennis courts and bowls court. Useful in the local area and some events organised through the year but not a location I'd go out of my way to visit.
