I
cannot
praise,
thank,
or
rain
down
enough
adulation
to
Ellie
Richardson
(Physiotherapist).
I
suffered
terribly
with
unbearable
shoulder
pain
which
came
from
out
of
nowhere
and
was
ultimately
diagnosed
to
be
a
nerve
issue
(Parsonage
Turner).
Ellie
was
appointed
as
my
physio
very
early
on
when
I
was
still
in
the
initial
investigative
stages,
and
she
pushed
and
pushed
other
consultants
to
see
me,
to
report
back
their
findings
swiftly,
and
encourage
the
consultants
to
discuss
with
each
other.
Without
her
pursuing,
I
cannot
be
sure
that
the
root
cause
would
have
ever
been
found
as
the
condition
itself
is
rare.
Ellie
kept
in
communication
with
me,
she
constantly
explored
new
exercises
to
try,
and
worked
with
me
to
find
stretching
and
strengthening
routines
that
I
could
include
through
my
days
to
try
to
lessen
the
pain
and
increase
movement.
I
have
no
doubt
that
if
I
had
seen
a
less
committed,
knowledgeable
or
dedicated
practitioner
then
things
would
have
likely
been
a
very
different
story.
In
the
end,
as
injections,
tablets
and
various
other
treatments
had
been
unsuccessful,
and
surgery
was
looking
like
the
only
option,
we
went
full
bore
and
I
basically
did
the
exercises
that
Ellie
gave
me
morning,
noon
and
night,
and
any
other
time
I
could
find!
Thankfully,
we
managed
to
prompt
the
muscle
to
activate
so
much
that
they
in
turn
prompted
the
nerves
to
start
regenerating
and
eventually
I
started
to
regain
strength
and
mobility
in
the
arm.
I
am
now
over
a
year
on
and
I
would
say
that
my
arm
is
probably
90-95%
of
where
it
was
originally.
Bearing
in
mind
that
at
it's
worst
it
was
around
20%,
and
there
was
every
possibility
that
it
wouldn't
improve
beyond
50%,
I
am
beyond
pleased!!!
As
a
rock
climber,
it
is
pretty
imperative
I
have
two
working
arms,
and
as
they
were
it
looked
unlikely
at
one
point
that
I
would
ever
be
climbing
again.
I
am
now
back
to
climbing
4
times
a
week
and
have
climbed
bigger,
harder
projects
than
ever
before.
Ellie
is
a
super
well
rounded
individual,
her
knowledge
is
second
to
none,
she
is
motivating,
is
able
to
tailor
routines
to
your
abilities
and
strengths
and
also
make
them
things
that
you
want
to
do
and
find
easy
to
include
in
your
day,
she
is
compassionate
and
caring
and
clearly
loves
what
she
does
and
getting
to
the
bottom
of
the
cause,
rather
than
just
treating
the
symptoms.
I
could
go
on
all
day
as
I
literally
cannot
speak
highly
enough
of
Ellie.
When
I
thought
things
were
over,
she
helped
me
get
back
on
track
in
months.
Thank
you
Ellie,
you
really
are
a
hero!!
