Great to see an old pub like this still thriving. My experience was ruined by the 'music', which was of dire quality and far too loud at 7pm on a Sunday evening. Had to shout to hold a conversation.

Traditional pub. Only had one quick drink. The pub had a few in it. Nice relaxed atmosphere. It's in Didbury Village near a lot of other bars and pubs. Maybe one to stop off, have a drink and check out, whilst bar hopping. Didn't notice menus, so not sure if they serve food. I will have to go back and check, lol, or Google it, but I'd prefer to go back... to be continued...

Great pub for a few beers with mates. Didn't eat in there, so can't comment on the grub. Great pub, great location.

You have to try the "Moo and Blue" pie, steak and Stilton. I think it's the best pie I've ever had. Also a nice pub with a good atmosphere.

Thrown out when 2 18 year olds had ID and 2 did not due to being with their parents. Absolutely ridiculous member of staff. Never witnessed this in my 23 years of living. Baffled with their behaviour. Will never return.

General Manager aggressive without provocation when asking us to move tables as two of our friends were ten minutes late. Been for years loved the pub previously, don't usually write reviews like this but treatment was disgusting and not needed. Really sad to not want to return to good local!

Pretty pathetic excuse for a place that serves food and drink. They don't have baby high chairs. Their menu says they serve pasties, but they don't. The chef and manager couldn't even offer some bread to our 15 month old daughter, and we couldn't get her food from outside either. I believed what their menu said and ordered drinks, but when we realised that were lying in their menu we decided to leave. But they still made us pay for the drinks which we didn't even touch, without so much of an apology. If you're looking for a pleasant experience avoid this place, but if you're looking to be insulted and lied to, by all means give them visit You have been warned!

Used to come years ago and it wasn't bad but more of an old man pub vibe. Popped in yesterday with my partner for one and ended up having three or four. Good music, lovely guy behind the bar making ice boats for our gins. (Manager/one of the owners?) Didn't catch his name but he made the experience better. Good banter, made to feel welcome and got to sit in the nook round the corner of the bar like old times. Great place to start the night off. Will be going again.

For an average side of the road pub it was a great atmosphere. After the pubs have been closed for so long. Went in for 1 pint but stayed for 4. Table service, and the bar tender Cam was amazing with great banter and very attentive to customers needs. He knew what we wanted before we even ordered and was so nice. We are happy customers and will be back. You are awesome Cam 👌

Nice and spacious pub. Great selection of draft and dog friendly too.

We all enjoyed the pies, they were absolutely delicious. The young girl serving though was extremely sour. Clearly she hates customers and this is a bit off putting.

Went for bottomless brunch. Food was top drawer and the booze was frequently refreshed. That's all you can ask, really

Very dark hole with totaly overpriced drink and unpleasant rude staff. No food, no light.... Not worth of coming, definitely-

Just one real ale - Timothy Taylor Landlord albeit in very good condition. There is now more seating. Pies, pasties and pizzas available, (not tried). Let down by a frankly shabby interior and fairly high prices even for Didsbury.

Miserable bar staff. The guy who claims to be the landlord was on a power trip and a massive attitude problem. Needless to say, won't ever be visiting again.

Just a great local boozer… occasionally gets too busy, but wait a few minutes and the didsbury dozen transients will move on.

Rude general manager ruined a lovely pub. Used to be my favourite pub in Didsbury but won’t be back because of him.

Nice and friendly service. The pies were very good and tasty. I recommend it, and would definitely go back when I'm in Didsbury again.
