I would like to leave a review on my experience with gyn tier 2 Withington hospital Nell lane. I had my appointment with Dr T Hesse he is one of the loveliest caring doctors u could met. He listened to everything thing I said and answered all my questions. As I had many as my illness was so new to me. He was so gentle and patient with me. And made my illness not as scary as I knew he was supporting me on my journey to recovery. I would just like to say gyn 2 you have a diamond of a doctor on your team. Thank you.

Our visit to Withington Hospital in Manchester was notably convenient with plenty of parking spaces available if you were driving. The quick appointment when arriving was a definite bonus, ensuring we were attended to promptly. We only had a 30 min wait to be seen. However, one drawback we encountered was the challenge of securing a taxi, particularly during mid-afternoon appointments, resulting in a three-hour wait, notvthe hospitals fault. Despite this inconvenience, the overall experience at the hospital was positive.

Newer building, modern, clean, efficient. Surgical masks & sanitising gel at entrance and around hospital. Toilet facilities are excellent. All staff helpful & friendly. Great signage but staff will direct you if asked. No fuss, easy to speak to Receptionists who give clear instructions. They are behind screens. Not crowded and specific appointment times given. Everything clean down between patients. There is a car park and on-street parking. Several buses pass by. The metro stop is a short walk away.

I had my cataract operation done in your department on 12/7/21 and I would just like to say "a very big thank you" to all who were involved, namely the Consultant surgeon, nursing staff, admin staff and reception staff. I received first class care from start to finish. I am so grateful and thankful for the kindness shown to me.thank you all again very much.

Went there two hours early just to be told my appointment was cancelled and I asked if I could get my fair back and they said unfortunately no we can't like it's not my fault they decided to cancel absolute waste of time I was calm as anything while speaking to them so they had no reason not to give me my fair back if this happens again I will not be coming back to this hospital

Loads of car park and not super busy. The 30 mins free parking actually 25 mins though. When you pass the gate is over 25 mins it is not allowed to exit without payment.

Absolutely disgusted with the northern service, no info on the website to say you have to book an appointment, no appointments online when you try to book and they dont answer the phone , they just hang up on you. Clearly they don't care about helping people or their health. Telling people to Just keep trying online is ridicolous. Won't bother again!

I've been here a few times now, about a year ago I had some X rays done and recently I have turned up for a few appointments with a physiotherapist. The staff seem ok and it's clean and warm. There's also a great cafΓ© where you can get a hot drink and some food.

Want to praise and thank the radiographer at the Withington site’s breast screening service who did my mammogram today (14 /5/21 @4.05). I was extremely anxious after a bad experience years ago. Charlotte was reassuring, kind - and very clear in communicating as she positioned me.

We went to see what damage was done to my partner and they couldn't of been more caring, they explained everything when our lad with additional needs shouted a lady who worked there has a girl with down syndrome she was amazing with him, she was so inclusive when other patients were tutting. Out of all the hospitals we've been to this was the cleanest and the best ran, all the drs and nurses knew exactly what they were doing. Could do with a few more surgeons is the only thing I can pick fault at but thats the same everywhere.

Several departments within this hospital are not adhering to Government guidelines and are discriminating medically exempt patients asking for proof of exemption when Government guidelines clearly state: β€œSome people may feel more comfortable showing something that says they do not have to wear a face covering. This could be in the form of an exemption card, badge or even a home-made sign.” β€œThis is a personal choice and is not necessary in law.”

Really impressed after both my visits to Withington Hospital recently. The cafe staff are excellent - so kind and helpful. The reception staff in both clinics were fantastic . The consultants were great and able to understand me and work with me at my level and be plain and informative. Really impressed with the hospital and I'm relieved I'll now be getting regular support from one of the clinics for management of condition. Thank you all so much.

NHS have been great to our family. Withington is a smaller hospital so serious or complicated medical attention is dealt at MRI or wythenshawe. Free parking for 20 minutes.

Free parking on a local side street. Clean hospital and most importantly the lady carrying out the hearing tests was fantastic. Professional and an excellent approach when performing tests on our son. Great service.

I visited dermatology dept. Staff were lovely and professional. My doctor was excellent and explained everything taking time to answer all my questions aswell as teaching a student doctor (who was also great) I did have to wait 45 mins past my appointment time which was a little irritating. Parking prices are a bit steep also.

I have been using the audiology department for several years. The staff are always helpful despite the pressures of recent times. The service I have received has always been first class throughout and thoroughly professional. Thank you one and all.

Dreadful hospital. Many departments don’t answer telephones. Staff are rude and incompetent. With the exception of the doctors the admin and ward staff are mostly rough sorts of the local council estates. Wouldn’t trust leaving a dog in their care! Awful

The waiting time is reasonable, the staffs are friendly, and they are capable of handling every cases with different situations. Definitely recommended One more thing: Compare to the other A&E this one serves you faster and with respect

The Gynecology's department is an absolute joke, they are incredibly disorganized. They didn't know where my MRI results where, the day of the doctor appointment the nurses/secretaries didn't know where the doctor was, they booked me an appointment at the hospital face to face with the specialist and after waiting there for more than 35 minutes they said that was a telephone appointment, Me and my partner had to book time off at work to go to the hospital. I waited almost 5 months for a diagnose that should have been done in less than 62 days (2 months). Absolute nightmare. I hope I don't have to go to this hospital ever again.

Attended for an ultrasound. I was in obvious pain, I had tears coming from my eyes and the two women who seen me didn’t care one bit. Very blunt and rude. 2 weeks later call my GP to chase (told I need keyhole surgery) to be told withington hospital have sent no paperwork/reports and I’ve now got to chase them when none of their contact numbers go through! Horrible place I will not go back. Wythenshawe hospital is much better!
