It is a dated hotel but for a short trip is OK. The front desk people are very pleasant and attentive. The hotel is pretty old, and to rate the location seems a bit off for me, I went for a family visit and didn't saw much to do around, it is a residential area with a Lidl and parks. It is calm at night, there's a pub next door but closes early. They give you a key to your room, not a card. The beds are a standard queen size, comfortable enough. Shower is OK, there's a bathtub. There is some room for your clothes, which is good for a more that 1 night stay. A kettle with tea and coffee is provided and there is a vending machine with non nutritious food.

Great hotel for a 25min drive into Manchester. Got there at midnight and checkin was easy. Lovely man on reception. Rooms were large and clean. Bed comfy as always and a very reasonable price.

From the outside this premier Inn looks a little run down. On entering, while you can tell its a little dated it was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was a little dated but clean. The bed was comfy. The prices were reasonable. I would reccomend this for a short stay.

Staff were friendly, the room was nice and clean (apart from one leftover dirty pillowcase left on the floor), and very convenient with pub next door. Only complaint would be about the free WiFi - didn’t even manage to load a YouTube video or email in a good amount of time, so I had to pay for the priced WiFi. I’d bare this in mind for anyone going there planning to do any online work there, but if you’re not, it’s a pretty good place to stay.

Use this hotel regularly. As it is a Premier Inn you know what you will get. Although the pictures show a pub beside it it is not part of the hotel. There are no breakfast facilities in the hotel. This is made quire clear on the website.

Rooms very dated and clearly showing its age. The room also smells damp to the extent I had to open the window. Not ideal on the ground floor. Mouldy rotten wood work in the bathroom clearly where the smell is coming from. You can hear everything from the surrounding rooms so don't expect an early night. Reception staff friendly on arrival.

This is a convenient place to stay. The drive to the airport from here took me about 10 minutes. The rooms did not have air conditioning, which can make it harder to have a good night's sleep during a heatwave. Guests get free parking in front of the hotel (the reception staff register your car on the system when you arrive so you don't have to get a ticket at the ticket machine).

I needed a place to stay quite last minute to be close to the Heatons and the railway station . It was just that bit cheaper than closer Premier Inns but just close enough. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpfully let me leave my luggage in the room before I dashed off to a wedding. The fact it is open 24 hours was perfect too as then didn't check in until about midnight. At the moment you can't get eat here as the Greene King place next door is being refurbished but there's a Costa coffee and a Gregg's and other places within 10 minutes walk and the railway station is close by too.

Ideally located for where we were visiting (Wilmslow Cookery School). Our room was spacious and the beds comfortable. We were grateful for the kettle & tea and coffee on our room too. We intended to go for breakfast at the neighbouring pub restaurant, but we missed it by 5 minutes as last orders are at 11am. We'll know for next time!

Great hotel for a pre flight stay if flying from Manchester Airport. Very short drive to the airport and all the staff were great. Also there's a number of shops and takeaways in walking distance. Had a fantastic night's sleep, undisturbed by any noise at all.

Noisy, outdated and smelly rooms especially on the ground floor you hear everything above you. This is hands down the worst premier inn I've ever stayed in!

Perfect location in for early morning departures from Manchester airport. Staff were helpful and polite. The room was spotless and very comfortable.

We had a fantastic experience at the Premier Inn. Our family of four had plenty of space in the family room and the cot was perfect for our 8 month old. The man on reception on the evening of the 12th July was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were very grateful. It's an easy walk to the train station which gets you quickly into Manchester. It's a nice, clean, safe, quiet place to stay but still be close to the city.

I was visitingbtye area of Handforth with a close friend, we tried to book a place online with Premier Inn but unable to due to technical issues. We spoke to the receptionist about it, The staff team member on duty was very apologetic about it. She said that a few people have been having the same issue. Told us about contacting the team online who can help us. Once we got into the room It was a lovely sized room, quite spacious. We was deciding where to eat and decided on Italian. So we went out in the town centre for food and drinks. Credits to the staff and team.

Stayed overnight before flight to Spain. Staff are so friendly. Cracking location close to Hunters where we leave the car.

Very nice place. I couldn't get in my usual hotel so stayed there instead. It was cheaper and better! Comfortable bed, excellent fan (heat wave when I was there!), good facilities. I interacted with 4 staff during my stay; 3 on reception and 1 cleaner, all were friendly and efficient. Would definitely go again.

We usually stay at the Premier Inn on Runger Lane before flying out of Manchester Airport the following morning. The price of the one at Handforth at the time of booking, was more favourable than Runger Lane, plus the parking is free. We received a warm welcome from the gentleman on Reception. We had an enjoyable meal @ the pub next door which is accessed via a covered walkway.

Mum stayed a few nights here and it was clean, quiet and friendly. Bed got mums seal of approval so must be pretty comfy. Nice general vibe and atmosphere at hotel and from the pub next door. Every single staff member went out of their way to help out in every way they could, nothing was any trouble for anyone we spoke to. A team of kind and helpful individuals, you guys were amazing. Best experience by far of any budget hotel chain I’ve experienced, so this hotel really did themselves proud. Big thanks to you all for making mums stay so comfortable and being so kind and helpful, we really appreciate it and whenever a hotel stay is required in the area we ll be recommending/booking this one for sure, keep up the great work as you’re really making a difference to your guests and families 💯 💜✨

The room is a little tired but it was very clean and the staff are very welcoming. There's the Bull Pub next door which is excellent for dinner. Breakfast isn't an option in the hotel or in the pub next door which was a surprise. Not an issue for me but you should be aware before booking. There's plenty of Breakfast options locally.

Conveniently when flying from Manchester Airport with only a 10 minute drive to terminal 2 and half the price of the airport premier inn. Always a good night sleep, even if it was only for 5 hours.

Had a ground floor room that was fine looked clean but had an odour to room upon entry. Lots of noise from room above during night so didn't get a lot of sleep. Wouldn't stay again

Such a geat little hotel with nice rooms, free parking and Wi-Fi. It's 10 minutes from the airport, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Pub has got good atmosphere. No lift, key (not a key card) entry. My family would return there with pleasure.

Best welcome ever. This is an older premier inn, with actual keys. After a nightmare flight back from Frankfurt we arrived tired and annoyed but the guy at the front desk and the manageress in the back room just made our day. Both kind, friendly and chatty 10 out of 10. Even gave us 2 little bottles of wine. Unbelievable but what a random act of kindness. Yes the hotel is old but it's clean, beds still comfy, room has everything you need and staff on hand. Location is walkable into handforth which has pubs, restaurants and take aways. Location feels very safe. 10 minutes easy drive to the airport. Thanks.

Super advice given by the lovely, smiley receptionist when we checked in about where we could get breakfast locally and their opening times as we were leaving early to get to the airport in the morning. Very easy access and location with plenty of free parking if you give your registration at check in. Room is good size, lovely and clean. Bit dated with an old fashioned yale lock and key for the door but it is perfectly acceptable. Bed was super comfy - better than the last Premier Inn bad we stayed in.
