We booked a room for a night with parking for two weeks as we were going on a cruise , the hotel were absolutely fantastic, waking us up early in the morning and laying on a taxi to take us to the airport. On our return a taxi was waiting for us to take us back to the hotel to pick up our car . The service was amazing. The food served in the bar was piping hot and excellent. Well done Hallmark.

Hotel looks nice, but underneath the surface it is need of attention. Lift goes to only some floors, not only that it needs someone to help push the door shut first from the outside before it moves. Room cleanliness wasn't great, shower was rubbish, needs replacing, falling to pieces. Bathroom door badly attached. Bed moved away from the wall and you lost the pillows everytime you moved. No info about TV etc in room. Enough coffee for one cup each, enough shower gel for one person to wash a leg. Spa was nice, but again needs attention to be considered great. On the positive side all the staff, especially those in the Spa were very attentive and willing to help. So overall a 'good' stay, which with a bit of attention to detail, maintenance could be a 'great' stay.

Just been on a spa day / afternoon tea The facilities at the health spa were quite poor. The changing rooms were very grubby , with mould on the walls. Certainly not what I was expecting The pool area was nicer , as it has obviously been re vamped more recently. We had treatments ( massages ) which were good although , yet again the treatment rooms need upgrading The staff however were very friendly and efficient. We then went over to the main hotel for afternoon tea and this was good. Sandwiches / cakes / scones were lovely and fresh. Prosecco was nice and tea was good too I wouldn't return to the health club again , unless I knew it had been completely upgraded to a much higher standard

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! This used to be our regular hotel when flying out if Manchester airport and was once a really nice 4 star hotel. Not a chance, it's filthy, it stinks, it's very noisy and it is also very intimidating. The reason for this is that it's almost full of asylum seakers. I had to actually knock on the door oposite at 4am to ask if they would keep the noise down a little, as reception wouldn't do this for us and was told by the occupants of that room to **** off. There's no escape from these people, even outside of the hotel they hag aground. My wife and I walked down to a local restaurant and there were a group of them next to the local shops drunk and abusive. I will never stay there again.

Appalling! The place used to be really nice, we used to use the restaurant and gym. It us now full of asylum speakers and consequently the place is filthy and so,so noisy. These people are also out in the local community until 2-3 am playing extremely loud music and verbally threatening anyone that attempts to ask to keep the noise down. Shocking.

Changing rooms for the swimming pool were being refurbished & the tempory changing rooms were up some steep narrow stairs, it wasn't ideal as my friend had recently had a knee replacement. The Jacuzzi could have been warmer. Staff are lovely & very polite. We came on a busy week end when there were three different functions on & were disrupted by the noise. We phoned reception & they moved us to the top floor away from the noise and upgraded our room free of charge. I couldn't fault them for this. Could more variety on the menu. We had to stay an extra night due to motorways being shut due to severe snow. We told reception our situation, they let us stay in our room an extra night for half of the normal price, again faultless for this. Would come again.

We were waiting for a staff member at reception for a good few minutes on arrival. The receptionist was lovely when she arrived. The lift was dirty and old. The hallway is narrow and the walls thin. Our room was nicely decorated however it was too warm. I wish I never ordered nachos from the night menu. All in all it was good for what we needed but I would spend any more than 80 euro on a stay here.

Stayed the night before our flight, room was nice, although if you want to use the pool you need to speak with staff 1st, you cannot just come and go. It's close to airport and the return taxi was included in the price of the stay which was brilliant. There is also the option to park in the long stay car park at the back of the hotel for a little extra. I'd recommend the hotel for staying over before or after flights and id happily book and use them again. Just disappointed you couldn't come and go in the pool. We were ushered in and out.

My daughter and i had a lovely spa day, treatment and afternoon tea. I have not used this hotel before but had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi and the afternoon tea which was served very professionally by a young man who was very helpful and polite whilst being run off his feet being the only member of staff on the bar, making tea and coffee and serving lunch. He was a credit to the hotel. I also wish to mention Maddy who undertook my treatment. She was fully knowledgeable and my daughter and i fully enjoyed our experience. Well done to all concerned.

Stayed for 1 night and parked car for duration of holiday. Very good value for room, parking, breakfast and taxi to, and from, airport. Missed breakfast as flight time had moved and we had to leave too early. Nice evening meal though a little pricey. Good room and comfortable bed but bathroom needs decorating. Will definitely use again.

Unfortunately not a great evening in this hotel! I had a standard double room which seemed to not have been renovated since the hotel had been built! The window was falling apart and there was an awful draft. I had to put the curtains around the radiator to keep the heat in. The bed was extremely uncomfortable really bad springy. Mattress must have been 20+ years old. Didn’t sleep great and with being away from work I need my sleep! Disappointed and will not be staying again. I would recommend the hotel needs a refurbishment.

We attended a celebration wake at the Hallmark Hotel. It was meant to lift your spirits. And it did. From the reception desk team to the rest of the staff we were treated with exceptional courtesy and friendliness. The buffer meal was well presented and hot. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

👍 Went as party of six on a weekday night at 5:30 (so quite early) for daughter's birthday. This place has some great themed decor inside. The staff are amazingly polite and attentive and made loads of fuss of her for her birthday, which she loved! The food... Oh yes it is amazing. A carnivore's deli...
