My cousin booked it for me to visit her here as it is not far from her home and close to Stratford centre and tram station. I got a Nice and clean Family room. We were across the road from Trafford Centre but had to walk down to a main roundabout to cross the road to the Trafford Centre, but it was well-lit. Service at the front desk was friendly and helpful. All in all very good 😁

It's a Premier Inn so you get a standard type of room. Clean and comfortable, good beds and pillows, plenty of water pressure in the shower. Staff were excellent. Note there's no air-conditioning so if you come at an unusually warm time for Manchester it may be on the hot side. There was a fan in the room but it was pretty ineffective. Also worth knowing if you come on the tram that the official walking route is quite long so like most people we crossed when there was a gap in the traffic

Excellent service from the hotel desk, clean room. John James and his crew in the pub/restaurant could not do enough for us at evening and breakfast. Superb service from them. Had a lovely stay.

Too hot in summer. There are a number of south/west facing rooms which become excessively warm in the summer. On a cool June evening (14C), with the window open and curtains drawn all day, the temperature in room 212 was 27 deg. C through the night. The staff seemed to be aware of this issue, promptly pointing out that the hotel doesn't have air-con before I'd finished my sentence when reporting the problem. No solutions or alternate rooms were available apparently.

As you'd expect at any premier Inn, staff on check in were extremely jolly and helpful, everything was as we expected, excellent value for money. Simple check in/check out. Will stay again. Thanks

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Upon arrival I went to the bar to check I was in the correct place as my paperwork had a different name than that on the outside of the building. I was told there were two sites on the same lot and I could find the one I needed through the door at the end of the bar. There was no one at the reception desk to great me but a gentleman came out after a few minutes and assisted me with checking in and also was helpful in the knowledge that my rental cars numberplate info would be on my keys. Saved me a walk to my car. Unfortunately I didn't sleep well as the rooms around mine were quite noisy and I have to say that the soundproofing is not great. Therefore I was woken or kept awake for much of the night. I fell ill and was feeling very tired and sick the next day and the new chap on reception unfortunately had a few calls from my work wondering where I was. He dealt with this in a very understanding manner and one which I was impressed by. TLDR Good customer service but poor soundproofing.

The water is tepid rather than hot in the bathroom. The restaurant is freezing cold but the service from staff is great. The rooms and hotel in general, could do with a refresh.

Home of the worst night sleep guarantee Genuinely contemplated sleeping in the hallway or the car the rooms are absolutely sweltering and I haven't stayed during a heatwave this hotel is not covered by Thier good night's sleep guarantee as it doesn't have air conditioning Premier Inn is a huge chain who have three hotels around the Trafford centre the money these hotels would have generated just from this location considering they felt they need 3 hotels to cover it! Install air conditioning it was 13 degrees outside and my room was 27 degrees inside I've had a better night's sleep at home during the heatwave

Rooms were okay, comfy beds, but no air con. It's right on a main road so can occasionally get noisy at night, but nothing major. Breakfast & food was average at best. Although the service was good. Average cheap hotel, nothing special.

Room OK, odd smell in bathroom but bathroom clean. It's a basic hotel, not surprising given the price lol hence the 3 stars plus the fact we ran out of toilet paper as dispenser hadn't been filled. Only one hand towel. Heating instructions don't match what's in the room so we were sweaty Betty's. Pleasantly surprised by the restaurant food. Hubby is vegan coeliac and there was choice for him which is unusual! Ty. If you want to go into town use the tram - Β£4.20 for all day off-peak travel card for zones 1-2-3 (hotel is in zone 3). Downside is the detour to get safely across the dual carriageway to the tram stop. If you're fit you can take your life in your hands and get to tram stop in 2-3 minutes, otherwise to cross safely the detour takes 8-10 mins across the Trafford centre bus station and car park.

I am currently staying in a room and it is beyond terrible. When I got in there was a very strong smell of the bleach in the room had to leave open window for two days to get it out. Bathroom has black mold by the door Heating is not working when I set temperature to 20 the rume stays at 17.5 degrees. Everything is old and feels like dirty. Old dirty window blinders, patches on the walls and ceiling. Terrible place and I hope I will never have to come back here or stay at any other Premier Inn. It deels like 3rd world country room. Restourant was alright. πŸ‘ P.S. Internet is about 20/30 kb/s. Its like an internet in a 3rd world country village 15 years ago. Forget about streaming something. You will struggle to browse!!!

Very convenient hotel very close to the Trafford Centre, good breakfast. Only complaint was the room was 28c all night but that's because we in the UK are more set up for cold than heat.

Rooms to warm had to leave early and they refused the refund cause I left a night before so won't be staying they again maybe another Premier inn but not this one if you like being hot all the time and very sweaty stay here but if you don't forget staying here and my disabled son was very disappointed aswell I had to take him home at 11am getting home at 2am but I've promised my disabled son I'll make it up to him

We used to stay at Premier Inn South which has sadly now closed however this was a lovely place but obviously not as convenient for the Trafford as previous. Lovely bar/restaurant attached the Swinging Bridge which offered Lovely food & drinks. Our room did have a slight odour of damp which was coming from the bathroom which was improved by keeping the door closed. We would however stay again

Great staff, room a little dated but very clean but no fridge so that's a big no no! We wish the breakfast you served yourself as it took ages for my order to come. Not the staffs fault I just think head office needs to give them more support

Room was unbearably hot, outside temperature was about 15 degrees so not sure why it was so hot. Real shame as hotel is ok but i cant sleep if the room is 27 degrees

We did not use Service. Room very clean on arrival for a three night stay. Free tea coffee milk capsules, packets. Very expensive vending machine, avoid. Lovely big blackout curtains, room not overlooked and quiet considering close to Trafford Centre ( we were at back).

Thomas checked us in yesterday, absolutely lovely gentleman, friendly and helpful. As a first point of contact for the public an absolute asset to the company. Caz checked us out this morning, another very helpful pleasant lady. The staff are a credit to this hotel. Will definitely stay here again!

Reception was welcoming I arrived 30 minutes early and reception was more than accommodating to check if my room was ready. It wasn't but with me being early she kindly put me in a room that was ready so I could freshen up.

Rooms were OK but ridiculously hot. No aircon. Check in was painfully slow, but the desk staff were friendly. The pub attached was shockingly understaffed and there was no customer service. Some of the staff (not all) were just rude, no manager seen anywhere. Worst Premierinn I've been to.

Stayed here for work and the staff here are excellent. The Sunday night staff are so welcoming and funny. The guy who I think is the manager, always helpful and professional and the ladies on the morning who are so polite. Stay here, these people are brilliant and make your stay so enjoyable. Thank you, hopefully I'll get the chance to stay again.

Quality and clean as expected of Premier Inn. Stands up to the Inns I've stayed at in West London. Located a bit in the middle of nowhere and takes a while to navigate the roundabout it's sat on. However would definitely visit again. Staff member on front desk pointed out all local amenities such as the 24/7 ASDA etc

Booked in with my mum because she had a major operation coming up the next morning the hotel was a complete nightmare the room was On the second floor right down the bottom I explain to the lady at the reception that my mum struggled to walk and used a walking stick and was going for an operation but she told me that That was the room that they had Put us in The rooms was so hot that the whole hotel had the heating turned off also there was no air-conditioning I asked for a spare fan and she had told me that there was no more in the hotel it was a complete disaster I would never recommend this hotel to anybody if you’re going to book in to the Trafford Centre book in to Premier Inn West you will have a much better night stay

came to this hotel as it stated it was close to the Trafford centre, it is though if you wanna walk to it it's a leap of faith on the ring roads it had around the hotel. Car park is small for the hotel (about 10 spaces) but you can use the resturant's parking places next door. the reception was good thou a bit pushing the food facilities abit, they stated the buffet breakfast is normally busy and we needed to book a early table before 9am(strange) Room was nice for what we wanted it for (Sleep) which we did get a good night's rest. Breakfast..........well Unlimted hot and cold food for Β£9.99 each, err no it isn't 1 plate of semi warm (Poss it was warmed up ) food turned up and that was it for your hot stuff. when asked about the buffet staff stated it wasn't style. in the end we didn't finish it as it was horrid and they messed the order up and missed items which the food ended up colder. i will never book a Premier inn again

Such a shame I stayed here on one of the hottest days of the year. With no Air Con my room didn't get cooler than 30Β°C according to my thermostat. Tried to have the window open but was directly above the bar so very noisy with the main road being so close and with the curtains open to allow air in I was unfortunately also opposite a street light which lit up the room. I'm sure at a cooler time of the year the hotel would have no issues... but this time I didn't get a good night's sleep.

Usual good quality accommodation and friendly staff. Breakfast in the adjoining Swinging Bridge awesome. Food at other times was also very nice and the staff made you feel welcome.

  • 4/5 Lee H. 1 year ago on Google
Nice clean room, friendly helpful welcome. The only downside is no air con and the big fans they provide are virtually useless. So if going to book when hot, think again. Short walk to the Trafford centre.

Room nice and clean. Family room was nice a spacious. We was across the road from Trafford Centre but had to walk down to a main roundabout to cross the road to the Trafford Centre but it was well lit. Service in the pub attached was brilliant and breakfast was good and very well mannered and quick. All in all very good

Had a lovely stay at the weekend. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and food was cracking. Loved it all. Big shout out to the receptionist who ran from our room to the car park to hand us the straighteners we left. And also the lady who done the breakfast. Will be back soon

Staff was excellent, so welcoming and lovely throughout our stay. The only downside was the breakfast..I'm afraid it wasn't very nice... which surprised me, as I always stay at Premier Inn and have breakfast...has been the most disappointing yet. Everything else was as always excellent.
