Service is too good. In the UK they happily customize your order if you insist on them. Caffe Nero has been my favorite during my stay. We ordered Cheese toasties, Hot chocolate and shakes. Interior is different as they describe UK's history. Trafford center is really huge and so Caffe nero there.

I ordered a salted caramel and pistachio frappe with cream and they gave me a warm drink that tastes like sludge from the bottom of the coffee machine. It's disgusting and the staff had no idea what there doing. Never coming again, I'm annoyed cos its supposed to be cold and it's a boiling hot day and it's warm

Amazing.... have been going here for over 5 years and after a one off, negative experience I have to say I was blown away at how the area manager not only dealt with the issue, but came to see me personally and gave me a £50 gift card to ensure that the negative matter was very quickly forgotten and a thing of the past. Sometimes people are too quick to put a negative post up, often with hardly any truth in it and nothing but negative emotions so it is only fair that I do the absolute opposite and praise the area manager, Tracy who handled the complaint and the staff that work at Cafe nero Trafford. Bravo and 10/10 ......to top it off, the new starter who served me today was amazing, so friendly and knows exactly what good customer service looks like. Keep up the great work cafe nero and thanks again 👍😀😊

Absolutely appalling attitude by trainee table clearer. Arguing with me over cleaning table. Then when I said no need to be cheeky he carried on. They kept looking over and laughing. I work in retail as a manager of a big store, if this lad was my employee I would have dismissed him instantly.

The coffee is surprisingly bad given the quality of the equipment, but what struck me most was the presence of a manager conducting kpi reviews with new staff within the customer space, surrounded by cluttered tables that are desperately in need of clearing, while the staff on the counter battle a line that was well over twenty customers deep at one point. Mr manager, what priorities are you demonstrating to your staff! Dirty, cluttered tables are the thing I hate most. It just screams that customers are mainly an inconvenience, I think. It's hard to enjoy a coffee and a chat in that atmosphere, but if you like a bitter coffee from an barista with insufficient training, perhaps it's OK for a takeout. In terms of accessibility, I'm just going to say that there isn't any, not really. It's packed with chairs and tables with no clear walkways. Counters are all high, so ordering and making payment is problematic if you're on wheels. There's also a self service refrigerated section, but you're really at the mercy of the (stressed, busy) staff to help you out. Or more likely, another customer. It's a generic chain coffee shop with coffee quality below average. Nothing to really complain about, but nothing to recommend it over competitors either.

Fairly slow to serve, but greeted and served by friendly staff. Skinny latte wasn't great though. Ordered food to eat in and they pretty much threw it at us in paper bag ... no plates, yet others eating nearby had food on plates! Mentioned this to waitress, but she just walked off. Furniture very tired and chairs ripped. Layout of this nero not great and more comfy seats needed.

Visited the Caffè Nero on the ground floor in the Trafford Centre today, 7 November 2022. What a disgrace! The toilets were unclean, the hand dryers didn't work and in the cubicle I used the bin was overflowing with dirty nappies. At least the tap and soap dispenser worked. The young lady who served us didn't crack a smile all the time we were in Caffè Nero and looked as if she was on auto pilot. When my wife reported the dirty toilets she said, with absolutely no enthusiasm "OK" and then promptly did nothing about it. I have recorded one star as my rating today, however, if the option was available I would give this Caffè Nero half-a-star as the coffee was OK. If anyone reads this review, then I suggest going to another coffee venue in the Centre until Caffè Nero clean-up their act, literally. I don't often leave such negative reviews, but today's experience has been woeful 😔

Zero stars if possible! Made a trip especially from the cinema side of the Trafford Centre for a takeaway coffee order after checking closing time online.. arrived at the counter at 9.30pm only to be told they are closed even though 10pm is clearly displayed as the closing time!! The guy on the counter was rude and obviously determined to have an easy last half hour of his shift! When challenged about closing times and why he won't serve me as they should be open until 10pm he just said its only for today with no other explanation! Lost out on a loyal customer to one of your big competitors - absolutely appalling service! Management need to sort this out!!

Nice looking place but horrendously overpriced, e.g. £2.20 for a small square of cake, and approx £4 for a drink. Don't forget this money doesn't go back into your community, it ends up in the (probably tax-free) bank account of some overseas company. If ever there was a reason to support your local businesses instead of places like this (and Starbucks, Costa etc) this is it.

Of all the different coffee shops in the trafford centre this is my favourite of its type. Lovely cakes ( a little bit different). And the coffee and chai tasted fresh.

We attended this cafe nero on a Saturday mid afternoon, so it was getting quite busy as everyone turned up for caffeine to fix their afternoon lull. Love a good nero, the coffee always tastes great. The staff are always friendly. Although it was really busy the staff were efficient, and happy. We even had a chat and a joke with them at the till. As I work in retail myself it can be very hard and sap your energy when it is busy and can be difficult at times to remain upbeat as you start to tire. We sat in, and the staff didn't stop the whole time we were there, the queue was just constant, so well done to them for working so hard. I don't think retail workers get enough credit for working like machines, however customers are quick to point out when there is an issue!

Super customer service today during the busy Coronation Saturday. They were working so hard and couldn’t have been more polite and helpful. Keep up the good work!

Our order was taken quickly and we found a table to sit at. All drinks came in paper cups as the dishwasher was broken, someone kept going in and out of a fire door that was banging shut. The whole place looked tired and needs a refurb. We called in as we were walking passed but should have gone elsewhere.

Nice place but I hope there isn't a fire any time soon. These doors aren't to be used in this way

Lovely early morning breakfast today, the cafe was busy already at 0920. The service was quick the food was served hot drinks were hot and the food was brought to the table. The restaurant was clean and the location was lovely. Christmas tree has been put up the Christmas feel is out , love it. Staff are lovely one even said is it too early for Christmas ? But what let them down was there was no soap in the loo’s! I went into two loo’s there was no soap first thing in the morning. It should have been replenished, if it had ran out. A replacement of a pump soap may be ? This is a let down!!! Restaurant has a lively atmosphere and the staff are pleasant. The decor is lovely.

Coffee is of high quality, they go to some lengths to provide a range of cake/sweet options. The cakes have a quality feel too, other similar places the effort feels mass produced, an afterthought. One or two complaints... I paid nearly £6 for a small Americano and a square of chocolate brownie, not unexpected. I was denied the essential 'right' to drink the coffee from porcelain - the dishwasher awaited an engineer. When handed a paper cup, I questioned why I couldn't have it in a proper mug. The guy verged on dismissive sarcasm - ' as you see everyone is drinking from paper'! I wasn't rude to him, I just wanted the cafe experience, not a picnic. I had the same experience in Costa at Burnley town center the day before. I should probably get a life 😭

Our favourite coffee shop!!!So happy it is open again. Great staff. Great coffee. I don't like any other coffee chain. Really clean and organised and even though the queue looked long (it always is) we didn't have to wait long to be served and found a seat straight away. Welcome back!!!

Really nice hot chocolate, the salted caramel chocolate brownie hot chocolate is delicious, a tad expensive but it's similar story everywhere these days.

I don't tend to bother with coffee shops these days but when I did it was always Starbucks. We decided to pop into Caffè Nero this time for a quick pick-me-up and I was pleasantly surprised. It seemed less up itself than Starbucks tends to be, and the drinks were nicer (and cheaper, I believe, though as I say it's been a while). I'd happily use Nero instead of Starbucks in the future.

Breaking the law is an offence ordered a latte at Trafford Centre and was asked if Brazilian was ok said yes then charged £3.75 when questioned this was told by staff our manager says not to tell customers this is not on price boarding store nothing noted about this at all how many customers are being fleeced and ripped off with this sales grab...this Is disgraceful and ripping off customers and breaking the law is not on at all.. nothing up in regards to this in the store at the Trafford Centre the manager was unaivable but staff said they are told to do this by management of Nero you are out of order on this and this bad practice it needs to stop will be passing this onto the revelant authorities to investigate this very bad practice this is for profits and not to tell or inform customers is a not on at all its dishonest and illegal to say the least

Omg your christmas cinnamon swirl latte made with oat milk us just lush 😋 didn't give you that horrible heavy full feeling I normally get with a latte. Will definitely visit again for another of these before they leave the menu.

Trafford Centre Cafe Nero is filthy. Floors, toilets, crockery and cutlery dirty. Coffee and eats are good. Staff always friendly. Need cleaning staff during busy periods especially.

Always busy coffee shop but the coffee is great and the staff is always friendly. I also love the banana and walnut cake. It's a must have for me.

Have not been to Trafford Centre for a long time, not sure whether it would be only on reduced opening of many stores, yet it was very busy, had to wait ten minutes to be served, had to sign track and trace, went to a partly occupied table, 3 spare places, one more to be occupied, and the person did not want to share, good idea I suppose, apart from the face masks one would not have known anything was different, the atmosphere was relatively normal, people were not careless, overall a decent experience.

Very tired. Furniture is tatty - "comfy" chairs are definitely no longer comfy! Thick layer of dust across the whole of a picture next to where we were sat. Toilets were disgusting - I've experienced better toilets in a nightclub. All in a pretty grim experience.

They have a great selection of cakes, banana and walnut cake is my fave! The coffee is great, bune atmosphere but it can be quite busy at times.

Too much noise from the near to counter fridges. Difficult to hear the server or they hear you, without having to repeat what was said. Unpleasant. The coffee was good and hot though, so no surprise there then.
