Visiting friends in the area and called in for a breakfast rather than have one at the Premier Inn we were staying at. Excellent value for money and well cooked. Refills on the drinks good as extras can be expensive. Pleasant staff to always a bonus...

Very very nice and quiet place pub in Sale Greater Manchester and also the small town centre too, but however no bus station and the public toilets too. I'll go again soon.

Nice atmosphere,Good range of beers at a reasonable price. Went on Tuesday 'steak night' with some family. My steak was half gristle (dropped a star there) but my husband's was perfect. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals too.

Funny mezzanine building but does not distract from an all round good atmosphere. Kev the manager is a abit of a spoons legend, and, its no surprise the beer range has been reanimated since he arrived. Top spoons and top staff 👌🏻

Excellent pub! Once we arrived a staff explained everything about the procedure of the social distancing, the form to fill, etc, then he helped us to our table. The order came very quickly, and again a very nice staff. The place is awesome with very nice decoration, and clean tables. We had a very nice time! Thank you

Considering it was a very loud and busy Friday night, the service was fast and friendly. The only table we could find had not yet been cleared, but it was cleared as soon as we sat down. Our food arrived quickly - the portions were rather small considering the recently increased prices, but tasted good. I'd come back here, especially on a less busy evening.

Decent pub not too far from tram station. Parking can be tricky. Quick service when using the app. Food and drink was great.

Swung by whilst supporting runners in the marathon, really close to the route and tram stop. Friendly staff even though we were only there for a quick brew and to use the facilities. Menu looked varied and good collection of beers

Atmosphere is fine, staff professional and attentive. My disappointment was the food. Scrambled egg on toast - pretty basic. The toast arrived dry, the egg on top. Lack of spread resulted in the toast becoming soggy. I was provided butter when I asked but the damage was done. Surely with or without spread, should be an option, not an assumption? I hate soggy bread.

What can I say? It's just a big standard pub in a handy location. Reasonably priced as the chain is well known for. Some rough people go there and its quite noisy! It was packed as there was some football match on. Had to look for a table upstairs. However it was pleasant enough for a catch up with a family member. We saw a couple lady with a curry and it looked quite nice for a pub meal. Would definitely return on a quieter night and perhaps order food too.

Went for breakfast and enjoyed every minute of it! Apart from the delicious servings on the plate, the ambience was just perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to make it my go to breakfast place.

Ordered small battered fish, chips, mushy peas. Arrived I know I ordered small fish but it was all batter, a fish finger would have been bigger, chips and peas cold, I had no problem having meal warmed up and another small fish added (chips were nothing to write home about either) but it spoilt the experience, I have to say the young lady serving & delivering the meals couldn't be faulted, she was apologetic, pleasant and friendly. Shame the same cant be said about the chef / backroom staff. Sorry to say I don't think we'll return anytime soon.

Wetherspoon in Sale does what it says on the tin. Great prices, well kept beer... Need more effort on keeping tables clean!

Last drink in a great value pub. Glass of red wine. Uber home. What's better than that. PS. Next time I will be here for a few more beers reasonably priced.

Great value for money, staff lovely. On this occasion quite a long wait for food but once it arrived we really enjoyed it. Recommended!

Just a drink with family, although once I'd seen the fish and chips I was very tempted. Clean and well stocked, one of the better Weatherspoons. Alcohol free Erdinger a bonus too.

I understand that pub food isn't high quality however, the cheesy garlic bread I had was a disgrace. The soggy semi raw based bread covered in greasy plastic like cheese made me sick. On the bright side they did take 30mins to make so good to see them taking care to make poor quality food.

Finished a night out in this small Spoons. Good real ale selection. Pint of Peerless Hops and Glory and a pint of Moorhouse's Straw Dog. Handy for Sale Metro. Both £2.10. Sadly already used all my 50p off vouchers.

Bar staff friendly and helpful. Food didn't take long at all. Ordered the Large mixed grill with a drink. Probably the best meal I've ever had in a wetherspoons. The lamb and stake were cooked perfectly, medium rare and with lots of flavour. Fired egg was sunny side up, giving an extra bit of flavor and lots of colour to the plate. The grilled tomato and mushroom, spot on. Same for the onion rings and baked potato. My compliments to the chef. Great job !

It's a wetherspoons, like every other wetherspoons. You want a meal, go for it, not crazy good, not crazy bad. Floors aren't sticky so better than your average spoons.

Needs a facelift and staff rarely wipe down tables now unless asked. Ordered toast today, drank a cup of tea before having to ask where it was. There were very few people in the building and another couple asked where their food was too. When our toast eventually arrived it was black on one side and white on the other. I took it back and said it was unacceptable. Second attempt still black on one side and dark brown on the other also only slightly warm. We had finished our second drink and decided to eat what we could bear. Why is it so hard to deliver a plate of toast?

We went for food,no problem with that- but it was well full of professional drinkers, with big loud booming voices and a million pints of £3 lager in them!! Will next go when we need the party beerhead vibe, not the five bean chilli....😄

Terrible atmosphere monday am caused by auditors visiting. Upstairs bar not staffed in morning till 12:00 and then moody staff. Can't head office consider customers or do they not count?

Eat heat regularly and the bar staff give good service, I’m an avid fan of a good well done steak and over the past 2 months I’ve had well done steaks that are actually more of a medium and medium well with a manager statating I should order them very well done when a well done steak should have no pink in the middle but these do and no apologies from the manager

I would like to say a special thank you to the lovely bar lady who found my dad for me this evening. I didn't catch her name unfortunately. She was so helpful kind and understanding as we were so worried about him. If you can please let me have her name as we would like to show our appreciation . Kind regards Anne My dad's name is John ❤

Always a good selection of cask ales at low prices. Service indifferent at best. Never seem to have enough staff serving. Very rarely wipe tables down unless asked. Dirty crockery and glasses a regular feature.

Went in the afternoon for lunch, all good. Kind staff, clean venue. I had the steak menu and it was good, chips where nice but there's definetly room for improvement to cook them better!
